Great value for money

Great value! I can't imagine a better place to stay close to central London at this price. The room was clean, including the bed and the bathroom. It was equipped with all you needed to make tea or coffee, with even some cereal and some milk in the fridge. (Yes, it had a fridge!) The barman/receptionist was a cheerful, friendly and helpful guy who helped us with whatever we needed.

These were not problems, just things you should know: There is a pub downstairs. We stayed on a Wednesday & Thursday night, and it was quite loud until about 10:30 pm, but not at all bothersome afterwards. There is no hairdryer. We knew this from the description, so we brought our own. Make sure you come prepared as well.

Piss poor

The room looked ok at first glance.

ROOM12 TV DIDNT WORK KETTLE DIDNT WORK CHECKED IT IN OTHER PLUGS SECURITY LATE AT NIGHT ALL THE LOCKS WERE REMOVED INTO THE BUILDING ASKING FOR TROUBLE.

L’hotel è sporco, la domenica non ci hanno aspettato per fare il check in pur avendo avvisato che l’aereo era in ritardo. Di conseguenza abbiamo dovuto trovare un’altra sistemazione che ci è costata per una sola notte 170 euro. Il giorno dopo ci avevano detto di presentarci al mattino per fare il check in, ma poi abbiamo dovuto aspettare fino alle 13. Quando siamo arrivati in camera, una delusione totale, le foto che hanno messo su Booking non sono quelle delle camere reali. Una vergogna non sono mai venuti a fare le pulizie e neanche a rifare il letto. Pulizia 0 esperienza negativissima. Booking dovrebbe cancellarlo dai suoi hotel.

Nothing really except perhaps location

The guy who checked us in didn’t share any wifi details, no explanation on the key or back way for guest which we had to figure out ourselves when we came back at night. Pictures shown on wasn’t the same. Located above the pub which was noisy and could smell smoke.

would definitely not recommend

very dirty- stains on carpet, tv was hanging of wall, blood stains in shower, bedding stank, damp on the walls and the toilet was broken. When at the bar we ordered two drinks- the bartender made them wrong, didn’t offer to remake them after admitting he was wrong- claimed he wouldn’t charge us for them but made us pay £16. Around 11pm upon returning back to the hotel, we were left a key to let ourselves back in- the key didn’t work. We were stuck outside for half an hour, was only when another customer staying there had to come get us. I has rang for help and knocked on the door and we were completely ignored and left outside in the cold. Disgusting hotel.

Good location but wouldn't stay here again if I was paid to do so.

The location was great and a key to get in after hours.

The beds were broken. One mattress was propped up by a plank of wood. Bathroom/shower was small and dirty. Fixtures broken in bathroom. Stains on table, chair was broken. Burn and stains on the carpet. Would not recommend.

The fact it was a nice walk to Ally Pally.

As we entered the pub downstairs everyone stopped what they were doing and started looking at us, the bar staff just ignored us for a good few minutes, once we'd paid and made our way upto the room a few lads at the back of the pub starting hurling abuse at us and told us how the rats are massive upstairs. The room we got was tiny and also not clean, the bed was the noisiest bed I've ever slept on, tv didn't have the aerial plugged in as it was all broken. Only plus was we didn't need to go back through the pub to get out of the hotel.

Bad

Dropping the key off in the box on the way out.

Bathroom had as much room as a full matchbox, wallpaper was bespokely ripped, carpet was dirty and old, fridge was warmer than the room, kettle was pre filled and did not feel safe in the bar. Would not bring kids here.

Great value for money

Good location- close to station on Piccadilly line. Lots of shops around and because there is a mini fridge in the room we were able to get some extra snacks in. Staff were friendly and when we did have a problem, it was put right quickly.

Some of the furnishings in the room were a bit damaged (broken clothes rail, etc), but there were enough hooks on the doors to make up for it. Nothing major.

A diamond of a hotel!

Comfortable bed, Good shower, great location, great food places nearby. No noise from Bar downstairs and it was open with quite a few people in. Good pint and pool table too. Friendly staff who are helpful. Room itself was spacious, clean and I didnt want to leave.

Wonderful Hotel and very clean and spacious rooms.Manager Kulan and Raju at the front desk was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door.Overall its a great experience...would love to come back

Honest review

The bed was comfortable

The rooms were awful, damp stains, carpet was torn in places, bathrooms are tiny couldn't even close the door to use toilet, wallpaper peeled off in the bedrooms, TV was broken. Overall not a great stay. Conveniently located for alexandra palace around 8 pound for an uber. I wasn't expecting much due to other reviews however I wasn't expecting it too be this bad. We had 3 rooms too and they were all as bad as one another, get what you pay for I suppose lesson learnt. Positives- bar downstairs was super cheap and nice drinks / good pint and bar man was nice.

Great budget place to stay with easy access to north and central London.

love this place for its ease of access day or night via the fire escape and garden. it is basic but clean and comfortable enough for a night or two.

the tv was broken and some of the fittings. simple fixes and would make it feel better.
