Excellent for families

Nice, spacious and clean apartment. It has everything we (a family with 2 little kids) needed. Quiet resort, small garden and swimming pool in front of our apartment. Towels are replaced every 3 days. There is a small supermarket around the corner as well as pizzerias and a very nice cafeteria/bakery. The beach is 2 km away

Mosquitos in this area are quite persistent in the evening. Make sure you bring repellent

The apartment was in a great location in the village of Murta Maria. We had one bedroom and used the sofa bed in the kitchen/ living area for our daughter. There was a large balcony off the main room and the bathroom was a good size with a washing machine too. The apartment was well-equipped and very clean. Towels were changed every 3 days and no daily cleaning, but that was fine for us. The pool is lovely and was very quiet. The location is close to Olbia airport and easy to find with parking outside. Lovely beaches are nearby but a car is recommended to get to them and to explore the area. Some nearby beaches are small secluded coves and can be tricky to find (ie 3 sisters and Doctors Beach) Porta Istana beach is beautiful but busy, and the sea is so clear everywhere. Sand on beaches varies from fine white to slightly coarser and golden, depending on the beach. If you visit nearby San Teodoro you will need to reserve in advance spaces on the popular but beautiful Lu Impostu or Brandinchi beaches. Olbia was lovely to visit (part at the harbour) and also easy to reach the Costa Smeralda area. Some lovely restaurants in the Village (we liked Est Istana), a great gelato shop and caffe Della Nonna for fabulous pastries.

Really lovely apartment and Michelle was fab but!!!

Do not book unless you have a car. Bus very unreliable and taxi expenses. Pool closed between 1 & 3.30 every day. Few restaurants around but I wouldn't rate the food in few we visited. Supermarket poorly stocked, expensive and fridge broken all week. .

Lovely holiday, a couple of beautiful beaches not to far, but for us, to isolated.

Lovely large room with balcony overlooking the lovely quiet pool area. It was a Shame that the pool closed everyday between 1 and 3. Michelle, was extremely helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had.

For us, the location was far to quiet. Expensive to hire a car or bike. A few very nice restaurants close by, but that was it. Buses a bit unreliable on time and not that many per day.

Truely recommend stay in Villaggio Turchese !!!

It was a great stay in Villaggio Turchese. The appartment itself was spacious and had all equipment you need to spend vacation days with your family. Efficient air-conditioning. Very good wi-fi accessible in all rooms. Swimming pool with always available sunbeds. Many thanks to Michelle who was offering her support during our stay

It is a small pity we could not park a car just inside but the entry gate was close and at the end of the day it was not big problem

I booked the appartment last-minute and had a quick reply from Michelle who was very helpfull. She arranged an early check-in and warn welcome. The appartment was clean and very spacious. I loved the big bed, the couch and the well equipped kitchen. After dining out for 10 days on the island I was ready for some home cooking. Its peacefull, nice scent from the flowers outside on the balcony and lovely view. The beach is a 20 min brisk walk or a 2 min car drive and a clean stretch of white sand in a quiet bay. Srtrong wifi. Close proximity to Olbia and airport. Perfect.

We are absolute fans of Villaggio Turchese and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sardinia. I’ll start it with our favourite asset of this apartment- Michelle, friendly from the start she ensured we felt right at home right away. Readily available throughout, provided considered advice and went above and beyond to find out anything that could make our trip perfect - an absolute diamond. The apartment it’s self was huge. Beyond what we expected and with everything needed. What made this place truly exceptional was the food places; a fish market, fresh veg and bakery all a stones throw away and everything fresh and local. A few nights we cooked in our kitchen and ate in the dinning area in the garden. The garden with green grass and decent privacy. Get a car, we went to different beaches every day, there is one a short walk which is beautiful but touristy- whilst others we found ourselves on long white beaches alone with only the turquoise sea. Finally, there is a variety of restaurants in walking distance and ice cream place - all seconds away. Oh and the pool is well kept, clean, and a good size with clean surroundings. If in Sardinia we would definitely come back and highly recommend

1- pillows were in a wretched state - very bad, need to be changed / not acceptable to propose it 2- impossible to sleep in the living room : curtains do not stop lights !!! Children’s woke up @ 7 am with the lights …. So do not expect to use the bed in the living room with you child if they are young - not acceptable

Quiet place. Good location. Plenty of restaurants and services near the place. Nice swimming pool to share with few people.

The Internet didn't work. Plenty of parking outside the Villaggio but you are not allowed to park inside.

Good experience

The place was very clean, a good location nearby restaurants, supermarket, bakery, etc. I also liked that it was important to properly separate the waste. Very eco-friendly.

It would have been even more comfortable to have hand soap, detergent, a cork screw, at least one more toilet paper role and beach towels in the apartment. Otherwise there was everything you need but the equipment was of medium standard.

We loved our stay in this apartment, space rooms with balcony, beautiful garden and area, great location, close to beautiful beaches.

Good for quiet holiday

Kitchen had all the facilities. Spacious for family. Quiet location

Toaster was not working properly. Mop would be useful WiFi non existent! Big minus as I had used all my data.

Exceptional

Clean spacious apartment with all the equipment you could need. Quiet location and we slept very well. The grounds are really well maintained and Ulderico (the manager) was always cheerful and happy to help. Lovely views toward Isola Tavolara. Murta Maria is a great little village to base yourself for exploring the area. It has 2 supermarkets and 7/8 restaurants.
