Het matras was juiste hardheid

De housekeeping, nadat door een verstopte douchebak en wastafel de onderhoudsmonteur de zaken had ontstopt en de handdoeken had gebruikt om te dweilen, zou de housekeeping komen om schoon te maken en nieuwe handdoeken te brengen. Nou, we zijn ze zelf maar gaan halen in een zusterhotel (‘‘s avonds om 23uur). Toiletpapier werd niet aangevuld, de vloerbedekking was ronduit smerig, vuilnisbakken werden niet geleegd en na een klacht werd het vuilnis naast de ingang van het hotel gegooid bij de andere rotzooi en de sigarettenpeuken van de housekeeping.

Preis-Leistung stimmt, unkomplizierter Check-in, kostenloser Parkplatz direkt bei der Unterkunft, Höhe der Gebühr für den Hund ist angemessen

Quiet but central location with exceptional breakfast!

Quiet room, spacious for one person. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast at the seminar hotel was exceptional! Will definitely stay here if again in hte area.

Cannot think of any negative points ragrding my stay.

Worst hotel ever

The room is located next to a very busy road: no rest due to high traffic. There is a sewage cover in the road that cars drive over, creates the noise that resembles a window banging. As it is every time a car passes it is a lot. The pillows are lumpy sacks that provide no support at all. The room is very hot and the only way to cool it down is to turn on a very noisy fan. There are lamps everywhere, just not plugged in The bathroom has two leaking soap dispensers. The vanity kit was empty. The sink drain was clogged so we had to take the plug out. After flushing the toilet the button just fell off IN THE TOILET. You cant call this a hotel anymore and this one of the worst places (for 300 euros) that we stayed in. We gave the hotel these points of feedback but no response so far.

OK but not that enjoyable.

The Breakfast was at the Seminar Hotel a 10 minute walk away, which was not ideal. However the quality of the Breakfast was excellent. The rooms were clean and adequate. The reception Staff at the SEminar were always helpful in resolving Room issues at the Freihof.

The Wifi was not good, the room was noisy. It could have done with a small fridge and coffee making facilities in view of the distance from the breakfast location

Poorly treated

The bathrooms are fairly new and the location (although right at the main road) was good for getting places. Luckily, we read about picking up our card at the SeminarHotel in the reviews. Good breakfast in the SeminarHotel.

It was quite expensive for what you get (although to add: Switzerland is - in general - an expensive country to stay in). Also there was menstruation blood on the side of our toilet that hadn’t been cleaned. And coming back from an evening meal in a restaurant, the room suddenly smelt of smoke really badly (the windows were closed). We concluded that the smoke must have come from the air vent in the room and that someone was smoking in their room. It was really bad (of course not the fault of the hotel staff). Also, for those sensitive to sound when trying to sleep: you can hear mumbling from people in other rooms through the vent. When arriving at the SeminarHotel for breakfast in the morning, we felt like we were being treated as second class compared to the guests staying in the SeminarHotel. Never have I felt that uncomfortable. So in general: Wouldn’t stay there again and certainly not more than one night. (PS: I‘m not usually one to rate a place this thoroughly but was needed this time).

Great location, room is ok

Great location, staff at the hotel where you do the check-in was very helpful

The room was really hot. A fan was provided but it did not help much.

Very good

The location is nice, the hotel is simple but very good value for the price. It is quiet, the room is small, but contains everything you need, even a good amount of amenities. Clean and well maintained

the only disadvantages that could annoy people are the checking in the seminar hotel and walking the stairs, because there is no elevator. But i knew that and did not mind it at all.

The check-in was around 500m away from the actual hotel, so this can be a small inconvenience... (not if you're by car)

10min outdoor walk for breakfast

Good central location. Prices are reasonable.

Rooms are poorly insulated — noisy neighbors made sleeping difficult Single rooms have the narrow 90cm bed For Breakfast you have to walk 10min to the main building
