Un piccolo sogno nel bosco

Atmosfera calda, raccolta. Tutta la bellezza della montagna, la vivi nell'eleganza semplice della camera e della struttura, che ha degli scorci bellissimi sul bosco in cui è immersa. È molto bello sentirsi isolati in un posto così. Tutto è pulito e curato. Lo staff gentilissimo e attento. Una graditissima bottiglia d'acqua grande (in vetro) ad accogliermi in stanza, dove c'erano due grandi finestre in cui entrava la luce filtrata dagli alberi del bosco. Non ho riscontrato presenza di cose usa e getta, bravissimi. Il ristorante ugualmente delizioso ed accogliente, arredato in stile classico, con un grande pianoforte a coda. Si mangia bene ad un prezzo ottimo. Sono stati anche molto attenti alle mie allergie alimentari. Ci tornerei subito. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Se le finestre fossero state in legno sarebbe stato veramente TOP

A wonderful stay I won't forget, thank you!

This is an elegant hotel with exceptional service, food, and lovely rooms. To have this available in the middle of the Corsican mountains was amazing, and much appreciated after 9 days on a tough trek.

Very good

A highly decorated old style mansion with music instruments and historical items. Staff friendly, welcoming and food service excellent

I prefer contempary modern but given how unique it was and homely i got past that quickly.

Good hotel for luxurious dinner or one-night stay.

Good restaurant. Excellent shower. Many trails nearby.

Bad internet, limited choice for vegetarians and vegans.

Unfortunately something went wrong with the booking; I was able to book although there were no rooms available anymore. After an initial 'sorry we can't have you here' call, we were called back that a solution was found. They asked some of the personnel to sleep somewhere else and we could use the room that became available. As everything in the surroundings was sold out, we were so happy with the solution. Very friendly personnel, and we were taken care of very well. Would definitely recommend!

The booking should not have been allowed initially, which gave stress after we found out and were denied. But see above - it was solved and we were happy!

old and smelly rooms. breakfast was very poor and extremely expensive for what it was. this is not a four star hotel by a long shot.

Fabulous food and very accommodating staff. Huge breakfast and what we couldn't finish we were encouraged to take for our picnic. Lovely location.

The dinner was great and the location for Gr20 travelers good

The hotel is definitely not worth 4 stars and the price is too high. Too loud because of the highway nearby and high audibility from adjacent rooms. Hair dryer as from the 90s.

A real treasure for Saturday night stay with music and great food.

Saturday night musical event and dinner meal were outstanding, and the main factor in our successful stay … along with delightful forest setting. Refined character of the building and good breakfasts were further pluses.

Location too remote and few options for meals other than at U Castellu. Staff meant well but seemed inattentive, e.g., re: helping with luggage at check-in. Older building with rooms on small side, though adequate for short stay.

We love the hotel and the restaurant.

We arrived tired and exhausted after many days of hiking, and felt very welcomed. The staff of the restuarant where friendly and professional, and the food, excellent. A cosy and luxurious atmosphere made our stay perfect.

One of the receptionists seemed to be completely shocked when I spoke to her in english, asking for the direction and distance to the train station. With a desperate look at my partner to translate the question from english to french?

Very nice old building, with authentic creaking stairs, adding to the feeling. Excellent restaurant. After days of eating random things on GR20 trail, a fine dining experience was a welcome relief.
