Rügen sieht uns wieder, dann aber in einer anderen Unterkunft

Die Lage, die Aussicht und die Größe der Wohnung

Alles sehr lieblos zusammengeschustert. Möbel waren zwar relativ neu aber stümper- und fehlerhaft zusammengebaut. Küchenausstattung eher ausreichend, viele Dinge fehlten (zb. der Toaster) und wurden auch auf Nachfrage nicht nachgeliefert. Die wirklich große Terrasse war karg und die "Möbel" ablegereif. In der eher notdürftigen Unterstellmōglichkeit für die Fahrräder würde Müll und Altglas vom Reinigungspersonal zwischengelagert.

Schöner Kurzaufenthalt. Bei längerem Urlaub kann man auch die Küche im Appartement nutzen.

Das Frühstück war gut. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Der Balkon am Zimmer als Wintergarten gestaltet.

Leider waren die Wurst und Käseplatte schon ziemlich abgeräumt und vom Obstteller nur noch Reste übrig, wenn man erst um 9 Uhr zum Frühstück geht.

Stayed for 4 nights, was happy with everything: not so much guests, I believe I was alone on the floor. The room was perfect, view from the balcony was awesome. Really nothing to be not happy with.

Probably just a couple of small things for management: - would be great to have something like gel for body in the bath room. I actually did not take it, since usually it is offered in the hotels. With the small bar of soap given on arrival it is impossible to wash body normally as well as to bring the whole personal bathroom from home bc just of a few days; - Upon booking I was provided w confirmation, but would be ideal to get an email w instructions, i.e. i was a bit suprised when I arrived and no one was inside, I also fo not speak perfect german, had certain difficulties to communicate of the phone

Nice Views, but not a well cared location.

The view and proximity to the beach, port was great

Some power plugs were not properly mounted in the walls. The apartment was covered in spider webs. There were bugs and spiders inside the apartment. The beds sheets did not fit the mattresses and had holes in them. The free Wi-Fi did not work and even after multiple requests it was not fixed. So we bought our own hotspot. The TVs provided did not have any proper signal and stalled all the time.

Romantic / peaceful place with excellent service and class!

Breakfast was small but tasteful (and tasty), did not miss anything. Room was clean and had everything we needed and more. There were e-bikes to rent. Sassnitz in itself was not overrun by tourists.

Windows were facing east but did not have curtains that kept it dark in the morning - if one is sensitive to light, bring a sleeping mask.

Great place for relax

I really love the balconies here with the view towards the sea. The rooms are very clean, breakfast great and staff friendly and helpful - all this together will make me come back again.

The only thing that could be improved, is WiFi. In the second floor already loosing the signal a lot - basically without any chance to work on laptop normally.

Exceptional

I've had a truly great experience at Villa Elisabeth, it all went so smoothly starting from the time I booked my stay on booking.com till handing back the apartment keys. The owners and staff is very friendly and polite. The apartments are clean, spacious with a kitchen and a basic set of dishes and cutlery to serve and cook. The location is great as it is close to all the sightseeing and city centre, train and bus station are 15-minute walking distance, national park Jasmund and Baltic sea cost even less than 10 minutes on foot. Great Internet connection, I was able to watch movies and videos in the evening and the bed is very comfortable with many additional pillows which I personally really appreciate and have a soft spot for. I definitely recommend staying there when you plan to visit Sassnitz. Thank you for a pleasant stay and great experience!

Little things could make this place much better...

Mr Grunau, the manager, is very friendly and cooperative.

When booking the apartment, it seemed like the breakfast was included as there was no option to pay for it. This isn't the case, it costs extra. Also the e-bikes are not free, as one might think. The rental charge is a steep 25 EUR per day. The apartment could have had some basic necessities like soap(!), dishwashing liquid, salt and pepper, oil, tea and coffee. That would make a more friendly impression.

Great Views and nice Location

The views from the balcony are stunning and the location is one of the best in Sassnitz: close to the historic old city, the port, great restaurants and hiking trails. We got an upgrade after arrival and stayed in Villa Lindenhof although we had booked “Elisabeth”. The breakfast was good for the money with very friendly service.

There were some imperfections: only basic and cheap kitchen equipment, no scissors, no container for sugar, no recycling containers, noisy plastic mattress covers under the bed sheets like in the cheapest American Motels. The fridge was only partly functional (no way to store any bottles upright as the lower door tray was broken off) and the cover of the fridge door was missing. There wasn’t even an attempt by the owners to fix this after reporting it. There was also no manual for the electric stove and it took a phone call to the owner to show us how to operate it. There is neither a city map nor any information about the city and region available. These are readily available at the tourist office. The wifi password was difficult to find among a huge list of networks which weren’t available in our room. Some stairs to the roof terrasse lack hand rails and are somewhat scary, even if not handicapped (We are experienced hikers). Changing towels and getting toilet paper was a bit of a hassle. Curtains to block out some light on the morning would be a good addition as would be cushions for the outdoor furniture and some place mats.

Wonderful time at Sassnitz

The view was absolutely amazing. The location was actually the best, around the corner from the cost, about 10 minutes walk from the train station, and also a few minutes from the forest in case someone like hiking.

Nothing really. I could only mention a low-quality knife that broke while cutting veggies. Other than that, nothing was wrong. The hosts were really nice and spoke very good English which is extremely valuable for any foreigner.

Very good

Great location, friendly staff. The appartment was quite neat though it could use some renovation.

Furnishing and kitchen utilities were pretty basic. For the rest all was fine, location was great with sea view and everything at walking distance. Breakfast was also basic, though for this price one can't complain. Wifi did not function well in the beginning but after we told the staff it was fixed.

Worth staying - But Binz /Sellin is a better choice than Sassnitz

Pro Value for Money View Room amenities Cons 2kms from hotel with walking The owner upgraded us to another room with bigger kitchenette. However, the sea view was compromised so not very beneficial to us. But, owner is super nice and even couriered our Chromecast that we had accidentally left in the room.

The toileteries were missing. Also, the room wasn't cleaned during entire stay. Even an alternate day room cleaning would be good.
