David was an amazing host! He welcomed us as if we were family. The house was extremely clean the kitchen was completely stocked with anything and everything thing you vould think of needing. David made sure all the events we wanted to do were in place. The apartment was located in the middle of everything all the places were walking distance. I would definitely recommend this property and i will definitely come back!! Just so amazing!!

Beautiful impeccably appointed apartment within walking distance of the entire old city. We were five each with own bedroom, queen bed, luxurious linens, and 3 bathrooms. Instant response from David to all queries and excellent recommendations. Definitely the best short term rental we’ve ever had.

From the friendly and informative check in with David and during our entire stay, this apartment is a wonderful home away from home! The 5 bedrooms and 4 baths are roomy, clean and comfortable with full kitchen and plenty of sitting areas for the 8 people in our party. There are also 3 terraces to enjoy the days and nights. It is within walking distance of the Capo Market, Theatre Massimo and downtown restaurants, supermarkets and gelato shops and really quiet at night for sleeping. All in all a great place!!

Beautiful apartment in the center of Palermo - we had 4 couples and ample room for everyone. The place was spotless and had a great kitchen and plenty of casual space. Not only was it a great value but we couldn't have asked for anything more. David was great and the communications were prompt and complete. Most highly recommended.

Three couples, age 75, definitely enjoyed our stay at this apartment. When I booked it I thought it might be a little out of the way, but it proved to be within walking distance of the center of town. There is so much room at the apartment and the main living/dining area had adequate seating for our group. The owner must have traveled a lot as the décor was very interesting. Davide was most helpful in his communications, directions, restaurant suggestions and went out of his way to purchase a modem for wifi connection when strong winds had disrupted service. I have never seen so many people in a grocery store at 5pm on a Saturday night. It was 2 short blocks down the street and had everything you could imagine needing. Great gelato shop across the street for desert after dinner. After a food tour one day and a late lunch another, we decided to eat in 2 nights because we enjoyed the space so much. Kitchen seemed to be well supplied, but we didn't cook, just had cheese, meat and bread, so can't be sure. All the appliances worked and the balcony clothes line had our laundry dry in no time. The upstairs terrace was used on the last night, when the weather warmed and it was fun to watch the traffic below. The only discrepancy in the listing is there are 3 1/2 bathrooms, not 4. Our group would highly recommend this apartment.

Beautiful place. Spacious, clean well-appointed with interesting decoration and artworks. Beautiful bedrooms . Great kitchen and dining room where the owner left a lemon cake and 2 bottles of excellent Sicilian wine. Multiple terraces and a rooftop terrace. Location perfect access to central historic attractions, restaurants, wine and coffee bars, and markets. The manager arranged for a car and driver from the airport. Lots of stairs so not for anyone challenged physically. Just a Great property.

Apartment was very clean, spacious , and nicely decorated. Davide was great to communicate with, he met us there to show us around and had pastries waiting for us. Very convenient for a multi generational family stay.

Close and within walking distance to all major points of interest, This apartment was the perfect place for our family of 10 as we vacationed in Palermo. The accommodations were clean and spacious with modern kitchen and 4 updated bathrooms. Each couple enjoyed their own sleeping rooms with privacy. Upon our arrival David met us an made us feel welcome with his flawless English speaking skills. He was instantly responsive any time we had questions or needs, which was particularly helpful when we asked for assistance recovering a passport that had been left at the airport. The neighborhood was also very friendly, particularly the gelato shop across the street that became a family gathering spot. A welcome assortment of Italian cookies and cake graced the large dining table that was the center of late night card games and sharing time. WiFi was easily accessed and if you wanted to take a rest in front of the big screen tv, there was ample room as well. A washing machine was available for laundry, and there was a large balcony with a large table sitting area for 6 where we enjoyed the evenings as well. No need to rent a car. Fly to Palermo, take a taxi in, and enjoy this historic city while staying a lace you can call home!

The apartment is well-decorated throughout with modern bathrooms and kitchen and air con in all rooms. There are several terraces with a fantastic roof terrace which is lovely in the evening. The beds are very comfortable and large and the apartment can easily fit 10. The location is on quite a busy road but is very central - only around 10 minutes from the centre of Palermo and all the sights. There is also a supermarket very near by and a very cheap gelato shop opposite the apartment which is open until 2am!! Davide the host was brilliant - he met us personally despite us arriving at the apartment after 10pm and showed us around the apartment and told us a little about the local area. We went to the pizza restaurant he recommended and it was lovely. He was also very responsive on messages and was quick to answer any questions. Overall, great stay in a fantastic apartment! Highly recommended.

This is a very well appointed and comfortable home. There are four separate bedrooms, ideal for our party of seven adults. Also a good location, easy walking to many sights. Host had generously provided wine, cake and biscuits which were well received. We would not hesitate to recommend this property. Michael 9 June 2019

We booked this place for location size and price, It’s in one of the most friendly neighbourhoods within a short walk to the bustle of the city The apartment easily sleeps ten five bedrooms four bathrooms very spacious this property has been very well looked after it has all the amenities you would expect and most importantly it is spotless check the price you will not be disappointed. PS we met the owners and son in law Davide. They are most charming and gracious Pleasant and friendly.

Our flight arrived in Palermo minus one piece of lost baggage and several delays from Alitalia. David welcomed us to Apartment Giiulia upon arrival, assisted us upstairs with the luggage, showed us around and explained everything we needed to know. Wine and pastries set up for us on the dining table as if we were family. If you want an apartment in the heart of the city you can expect to climb stairs, which wasn’t a problem for our group who are in the late 50’s and early 60’s. The apartment is more beautiful than the photos. It’s spotlessly clean and spacious with modern bathrooms and kitchen facilities. This perfectly located apartment in New York City would have been cost prohibitive and probably impossible to find with 2 levels and outdoor spaces. David was beyond accommodating during, and days after we left Palermo, in his efforts to make phone calls to Alitalia to help find our lost luggage. David made our dinner reservations (don’t miss Osteria Mercede) and he was available during our entire stay. We really can’t compliment and thank him enough. We loved this house. It was clean, safe, Davide was extremely helpful with dinner reservations and taxis to the airport. Also providing us with water, wine, and some traditional Sicilian snacks was so refreshing after a long train ride. We were able to use the rooftop patio every night as well.

The street on which the apartment is located is a solid, middle class working neighborhood. On first glance it may seem a bit rough around the edges but upon closer inspection there are some decent sized clothing stores and a fairly large supermarket along with a host of smaller mom and pop establishments. The street is littered but with cars parked 24/7 there is no way a street cleaner can pickup the mess. As for the apartment once you open the door one steps into a thoroughly remodeled and upgraded quarters. Decor is upscale and it is evident significant funds were spent on everything--and I mean everything. Bathroom fixtures, showers, toilettes/bidets, cabinetry and lighting are all new. Windows, which normally are left untouched, are all new with exterior, locking metal shutters. The kitchen is modern and sleek with new appliances(only negative is the washing machine's positioning makes it difficult to add detergent) and cookery and dishware. There are three patios for relaxation and outdoor dining. Internet was solid and fast. Davide, the manager, was attentive and most helpful in scheduling dining reservations. He responded quickly to all inquiries. Location is close to several nice restaurants and the old quarter. If parking is unavailable in front there is a huge underground parking structure right across the street. Two ATM machines are nearby as well. All in all I would definitely stay at this place again.

Our family didn’t need all the space but it was nice to spread out in this stunning apartment during our stay in Palermo. Everything runs well and the host was very helpful and welcoming.

Just returned from annual family Eurotrip , we have done this for the last few years and by far this was the best . Palermo and this property were the best we have visited in 4 years. The unit was first class the Mgmt was excellent and we are all ready planning for a return next year, I cannot say enough the description and pictures do not do it justice, it is better. I have rentals with vrbo in Maui and will strive to be as good as this one. Well done!!!!! Davide you are an asset

Palermo (the Sicilian capital) is a joy to visit and staying at Casa Giulia is ultimate pleasure. The apartment (comfortable for up to 10 people) is difficult to find in town, because the offerings are usually smaller. The location is fantastic, with most attractions within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms modern, the kitchen fully equipped and with sunlight coming in through large windows, with mountains in the distance. There is an ample terrace with outdoors table and chairs for the whole crowd as well as a couple of balconies decorated with plants and flowers. a major positive are the owners-managers, Signora Giulia, and Gianluca and Davide: courteous, hospitable and efficient, surpassing the well-known kindness and hospitality of the Sicilians. We certainly would go back to Palermo and lodge at Casa Giulia again!

Cannot fault the apartment. 9 people staying there of mixed ages and generations. Very spacious, so we had plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen very well equipped. Nice touch was the red wine and cake there on our arrival.

Beautiful property with character and decor not usually found in a vacation rental; could easily live here full time! As comfortable and charming as the inside is, a real plus is all the gorgeous outdoor space; beautiful patios with colorful flowers, shrubs, trees. On top of the outstanding "apartment", David is a pleasure with whom to work.

Stayed here with 4 couples and it was perfect in every way! Walking distance to all the sites. While it is on a busy street, you'll find parking nearby or if you're lucky, right in front on street. Great little bakery across the street. The apartment looks like it has been professionally decorated, with lots of seating and dining areas and outdoor terraces. Very functional kitchen with all the amenities and then some. This place was by far the nicest we stayed at in Sicily.

The owners were always available and the house was perfect on arrival. My family really enjoyed the roof top terrace.

Apartment Giulia is gorgeous - even better in person. All the amenities you could wish for are provided...plus more! David and Gianluca have thought of everything, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were greeted very warmly upon our arrival and shown around the apartment. The kitchen was stocked so that we could have breakfast in the morning, we arrived late at night. Biscuits, cake and 2 bottles of wine were also provided! By the way, the supermarket is about a 5 minute walk away. Five of us stayed at the apartment - it was very spacious, neither of us felt like we were cramped into it. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size, one of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom. The roof terrace was a real delight, bigger than expected with no-one overlooking it. There is also a terrace off the living room and one of the bedrooms - all with lovely potted flowers and plants. Sightseeing from this location was very easy - everything was within walking distance. Including the train and bus stations as we did venture out of Palermo to visit other sites of interest. It was a home away from home - we highly recommend this apartment. The apartment is superb. It is spacious and clean with ample bathroom provision. It is equipped with a modern kitchen, good Wifi, TV. There are three terrace areas including the large one to the front of the building. We walked to all of the main attractions in Palermo. The attractions are good but there is as much to experience with just walking through the city and stopping off for a coffee, gelato or beer on the way! We did a bit of travelling to some of the areas surrounding Palermo which was good as well.
