Beautiful, but quiet and removed from the action (albeit only 300m away).

We loved the traditional aeolian architecture of the hotel, as well as the freshly repainted interior in the typical bright light blue. The bohemian style of the hotel was lovely. We also enjoyed waking to the ocean view.

Whilst only steps away from the action of the Main Street, it did feel a little removed. When asking for restaurant suggestions, we were told to eat at the hotel however it was very quiet so we walked into town and found a bustling restaurant which we otherwise wouldn’t have known about.

Colourful hotel with amazing restaurant.

The hotel is really cute & colourful. Refreshing pool. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were lovely. Transfers organised for us easily. Easy enough walk to Port (it is up hill). But the highlight was the restaurant. had one of the best dinners we had on the island this night. really wonderful food / experience.

Superb

Very kind, knowledgeable personnel that helps you with any questions and wishes you may have. In particular, they suggested nice tours around the island, both on land and by boat. All around the property one finds a lot of attention to beautiful details, from the tiled floors and walls (in our beautiful room, with hammock on the terrace), the gardens to the swimming pool. The restaurant is excellent with a great view, and in particular the breakfast.

Applies to our particular room: The view from the terrace was lovely, but it is an exaggeration to call it private, as the guests of the adjacent rooms have to pass through it, and depending on your neighbors and their (smoking) habits you may not feel so alone. In addition, our room was located in direct proximity of the restaurant, which is so lovely that it attracts late night guests (until after midnight), and also functions as the breakfast spot (with music playing again starting at about 7am). If you want a calm stay, ask for a different room.

Amazing property with the nicest staff!!

Extremely friendly staff, great location, beautiful room and sea view 💙 Services are great. You can even rent scooters in the property. Very tasty breakfast. We didn’t have the chance to eat at the restaurant but it looked yummy!

A lovely place. They make you feel at home and the amenities (the pool, the restaurant) are wonderful. The breakfast is delicious, the chefs make fresh delights (including different granitas!) every morning!

Superb

Very nice staff and English speaking staff took care of us.. Beautiful place and garden and very nicely decorated large rooms and balcony. The restaurant was very good with all local products, and a great view on the sea.

Exceptional

We absolutely enjoyed our time here! The room with the terrace and sea view was great! It is central but still quite. The hotel is very well designed - it's cozy and still feels private even though there are a few rooms. The staff is very friendly. We were even able to get an early check-in and late check-out as we had problems with the ferries. We highly recommend this place!

Low water pressure at the shower, it might have been only in our room. But other than that, all wonderful.

Large rooms, big bathrooms, very clean and elegant. Lovely terrace in from of the room with a magnificent view of the sea. Good breakfast.

Paradise with a sea view

Design of the hotel is impressive and our room was so beautiful! We could feel that every detail was made with heart and soul. Staff is very nice, they organized a transfer to hotel and back to the port, even the location is close. Another jewel of this place is a restaurant with delicious cuisine. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Would be nice to add something like anti-mosquito fumigator to use inside the room and special smoke to use outside in patio because the price to pay to stay around this green beauty is having mosquitos around.

An all round beautiful hotel!

A beautifully designed hotel in a fantastic setting. So much character! Brilliant service and equally good breakfast.

We booked through booking.com so weren’t aware of the transfer from the port that they offer. Would recommend getting in touch with the hotel to arrange collection to avoid having to struggle up hill with luggage!

Nice spacious and clean room, very comfortable. The hotel have a very good restaurant as well

The pick-up service is not easy. I e-mailed them my time off arrival but the only come when you call them at that moment.

Amazing hotel, great breakfast and lovely pool!

We loved our stay at Mamma Santina - the rooms were lovely and clean with our own part of terrace. Breakfast was great (and they catered amazingly for gluten free!) Would definitely recommend! Swimming pool was a great bonus.
