נקודה מרכזית לטיולים בין שוויץ לגרמניה.

מיקום מצויין (כי ביתי ונכדי גרים 5 דקות הליכה משם) צמוד לגבול שוויץ, בדקות ללכת ברחוב לכוון הגבול שאין בו שום מחסום ולקחת חשמלית מס. 6, תוך 20 דקות אתם במרכז באזל. רצוי להצטייד בפרנקים שוויצריים. מתחת למלון יש מסעדה סינית מצויינת.

הרכבת בין לורך וויל אמריין עוברת ממש ליד המלון מצד אחד זה נח אבל יש קצת רעש כשהן עוברות.

Frühstück und Mitarbeiter sind hier top!

Das Personal war extrem lieb! Alle die an diesem Wochenende gearbeitet haben waren immer gut gelaunt (so wie es rüberkam). Das Frühstück ist wunderbar, hat von allem ein bisschen Auswahl und auch da sind die Mitarbeiter super aufmerksam. Durfte auch meinen Kaffee noch mit aufs Zimmer nehmen, um ihn zu einer Zigarette auf dem Balkon zu geniessen.

Wer in der Nacht gerne das Fenster offen hat sollte nicht am Wochenende hinreisen, da die besoffenen Leute aus den Bars unter den Hotelzimmern die ganze Nacht auf den Parkplätzen herumbrüllen. Das Doppelbett sind leider zwei Einzelbetten aneinander gerutscht. Wenn man sich "an nähern" möchte rutschen die immer auseinander. Da sie dabei einen Ton von sich geben, hört man diese Schwierigkeiten dann auch bei den Nachbarzimmer :'D

Wir kommen nur wieder, wenn ein anderes Zimmet möglich ist.

Das Personal war sehr nett. Sehr gut ist das späte Check-In. Günstige Parkmöglichkeiten.

Das Zimmer lag direkt über einem Club, der bis 5 Uhr früh offen war und dauernd Lärm durch Besucher war. Fenster konnte wegen der Hitze nicht geschlossen werden.

Waren für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp dort zu Besuch und bis auf die zwei Mängel im Badezimmer mit dem Schimmel können

Unterkunft war sehr sauber, war mit zwei Balkonen ausgestattet und sehr geräumig.

Schimmel im Badezimmer an der Decke und in der Dusche.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel "Basel 1" war angenehm, aber der frühe morgendliche Lärm seitens des Reinigungsperson

Lage: Die Nähe des Hotels zur Straßenbahnhaltestelle Nr. 6, die direkt nach Basel führt, macht es zu einem idealen Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Stadt und der Umgebung. Die gut ausgestatteten Zimmer bieten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Frühstück: Das abwechslungsreiche Frühstücksbuffet, das in einem gemütlichen Speisesaal serviert wird.

Was mir nicht gefallen hat, ist, dass das Reinigungspersonal und andere Gäste sehr früh am Morgen viel Lärm machten

Bei nächster Gelegenheit gerne wieder.

Für unseren Reisezweck (Tagesaufenthalte in Basel) ist das Hotel immer wieder perfekt. Grenznah und Anschluss an ÖPNV optimal. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut OK. Es gibt sicher reichhaltigere Frühstücksangebote aber für uns hat das Frühstück alles, was man braucht. Alles in allem, kein Luxus aber absolut zweckmäßig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

OK but pricey room.

The room was modernised, had enough space and was clean. The bathroom and toilet were plain, but had everything one needs and was also clean. For breakfast the hotel offered fresh bread and various other nice things.

Based on the pictures one expected the reception to be staffed, but no, we found the front-door closed. It took a while before I noticed that I had received an email and a message via booking that contained a code to get the key from a key-safe. Maybe I have overlooked that detail… Where to park your car is also a bit vague, because the parking lot in front of the hotel is private. These things can happen and were solved on the spot. What did bother us was that flat roofed room was very warm. There is no airconditioning, but fortunately there was a (noisy) fan…

good-value for money near the Swiss border

Reliable internet, free parking in the backyard. I arrived late and the reception was closed but keys were provided by a machine at the entrance. There is a chicken. takeaway nearby and a restaurant across the street. good value for money considering the exorbitant hotel prices the Swiss site is offering

The room was connected through a locked door to another room which is fine. However, my neighbour was watching TV and trough the door a lot of noise was transmitted into my room

Exceptional

The rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and lots of restaurants around you. Good location

I booked from booking.com and wrote two adults and a child but they have booked the hotel fo two adults only. I ended up paying more when I arrived at the hotel. I wish I called the hotel and booked it. They give the same price as booking.com
