Disappointing as it wasn’t the place for me with my dog .
The location was good if you like walking , and the pub ! There’s a local shop over the river which stocks all the essentials which is always handy .
The parking was not guaranteed, so when unloading I had to carry bags from a distance which I didn’t expect . The inside of the cottage was all stone, which was cold, including the floor . The stairs up to the second floor were spiral, high steps and narrow, making it quite difficult for a dog or elderly to walk up . The downstairs outside area was all concrete with steep hills at the back and nowhere to sit . The upstairs had the entrance to the decking area which you got to via very steep , small open steps , again not suitable for dogs or elderly . This led to a decking area for sitting etc. and once again not suitable for dogs or elderly. Consequently there was no area for dogs to go out to , you had to walk outside where there are certainly lovely local walks around . There were lovely waterfalls at the back of the property, so if you like the sound of running water it was superb !!

Super cosy cottage in a fabulous location
Loved the location, ideal for walking and still close enough to amenities. The cottage is so authentic, roomy and yet very cosy. Well equip and the bed was so comfortable. The Bell pub just over the bridge in Redbrook is a great local pub with a great atmosphere and good food.
You are just a bit overlooked as the cottage is located on a the Wyre Valley path. This would not stop us staying there again though.

The cottage is beautiful and in a stunning location. Excellent value for money
It's quite cold, despite the heating and the fire

Lovely place to stay. We used it as a base to walk the Wye Valley for the Macmillan marathon.
Water and Welsh cakes as a welcome. Amazing location. Great pub next door.
Cottage smelt damp for first day (including towels even though they were clean) better on second.
