Beautiful stay that was incredibly relaxing

The space itself was a beautiful studio with huge windows that opened to a little garden. It had a small kitchenette that was fully equipped for meal prep. The host was incredibly kind and had some home made jam and treats for us when we arrived. We had the breakfast in the morning which was wonderful. It consisted of fruits, pancakes, eggs, cheese, yogurts, pastries and more. The host was very kind, she answered all of our questions, made wonderful suggestions for restaurants and gave us some history of the location and the grounds. The studio itself was very clean, stylish, and quiet. I would recommend this establishment for anyone wanting stay on this side of the Sao Miguel.

The only problem that we had was it was a bit far from town and the roads were not paved on one way making it a bit difficult to get to town and back.

We loved it

Very charming and beautiful design place. Great garden: you are surrounded by plants which give you as well quite a privacy. Breakfast was super tasty (You go out with really full stomach). Host and other employees are very lovely and helpful.

A week in heaven

We spend an entire week at the Quinta dos Peixes Falantes and it was absolutely wonderful. The place is charming and the welcome was warm. We felt at home and everything was done to ensure our stay was unique. The house was spacious and very clean (+ well equipped, we could have cooked simple meals if we wanted too). The location is perfect, it’s central so it’s really idéal to visit the island. Don’t miss out on the breakfast !

The garden, the quiet, the architecture were all highlights. We couldn’t have had a better stay; Ana Isabel is so kind and welcoming, and the studio is so thoughtfully designed and equipped. It was perfect for two.

Thanks for the warm welcome from our host Ana Isabel and also Monica! It felt a bit like coming home. Their breakfast (served as an additional service in an old chapel) is amazing. And they were always open for help and advice. We have been happy there and enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful in a quiet environment. The deluxe studio is very comfortable and nicely furnished. Also thanks for the snacks as a welcome present. All the best for you!

Beautiful property and remote but peaceful. Close to towns and not too far from Ponta Delgada and the airport. The breakfast was incredible and the staff was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!
