Great for a one-night stay if flying from Bordeaux Airport!

Basic hotel room, bit tired decor-wise, but room was very clean & comfortable with spacious ensuite and plenty of towels. Breakfast next day was a buffet with a good continental selection: juices, fruit, yogurts, bread, cheese, croissants and coffee/tea. Also, handy for Bordeaux airport - not for walking, but short car/taxi ride.

You get what you pay for, but the owner was friendly and accommodating.

Quiet, clean, efficient, I would recommend to anyone in my circumstances.

At the price I paid I got everything I expected (bed, restroom, shower). The staff were very friendly especially with my limited knowledge of the French language. Breakfast was good, and no one rushed me to check out of the hotel. I chose to stay at the Hotel Chantafred as my apartment in Bordeaux was not available and needed a place a to rest and place my things. The Hotel Chantafred was more than enough. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable night's stay !

I wouldn't say I disliked anything about my stay. By no means is it a grand luxury hotel but it does not advertise itself as such. But I had no issues during my stay at the hotel.

Close to tram station and plenty of good restaurants.

Old hotel, it needs a refurbishment. It doesn't have elevator. They didn't clean the room during our whole stay.

Exceptional

Very specious rooms, clean and quiet. The furniture it is outdated but the comfort is good and rooms are fitted with bathtub and the staff is polite and friendly.

Simple hotel 20 mins from Bordeaux Airport

Extremely convenient for working at the LIRYC and Bordeaux airport. Simple, but good value breakfast. Lots of eating places nearby. Tram and train stops.

Fairly basic rooms, no water or drink making facilities.

Stopover on the way to the Basque country

We always stop over in Hotel Chantafred on our way south to the Basque country, from Brittany. The location is close to the Autoroute going south so we can avoid the traffic jams on the Bordeaux rocade in the morning. The hotel is in a peaceful area and it is easy to go downtown Bordeaux either by car or tram (Just next door).
