CIR-19082027C223976 Welcome to my advert! I INVITE YOU TO READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION SO TO BE WELL INFORMED ABOUT EVERYTHING.
The apartment is located on the third floor (in reality it is a second and a half floor) served by comfortable stairs and enjoys a beautiful view; you can see the sea, the historic center with the cathedral, and the fortress behind.
The rooms are large and bright, all have a TV; the kitchen is well equipped and has a comfortable sofa; the bedrooms have air conditioning and benches for suitcases.
The apartment has free private parking, located at the foot of the building, right under the balcony, with access only for guests.
We are in the city center, just behind the main Via Roma and in 5 minutes on foot you can reach the beach, in 10 minutes in the historic center; 100 meters away there is a well-stocked supermarket and in the area also restaurants, pizzerias, tobacconist, bank, pharmacy, train station.
It is pleasant to be on the balcony even on the hottest summer days as the sun only arrives directly in the early morning and at sunset.
In the same building and on the same floor, there is another apartment, with only one bedroom, to see it, write the reference 6309130 in the destination field on the homepage and start the search.
TOURIST TAX - According to the law of art. 4 of Legislative Decree n.23/2011, guests are required to pay the relevant tourist tax upon check-in, and it is my responsibility to collect it. The tourist tax to be paid is €2 per night per person, for the first 5 nights, in cash at check-in, children from 0 to 12 years are exempt, e.g. 3 people including 1 child aged 10, for a 7-night stay, will have to pay €20.
PHOTOS OF DOCUMENTS AND CONTRACT - According to the law of art. 12 of the Tourism Code (Legislative Decree 23 May 2011 n. 79), art. 12 of the Tourism Code (Legislative Decree 23 May 2011 n. 79) and art. 19 bis of Legislative Decree n. 113/2018, at check-in I am required to take a photograph of the document (identity card or passport) of all guests, and to have the contract filled out, i.e. a sheet with the summary of the booking data and signed.
AIR CONDITIONING - You are my guest and therefore I don't want you to feel hot, but... it is forbidden to set a temperature lower than 24°, and to leave the air conditioner on when you are not at home. At 24° the rooms cool down and you no longer feel hot. When outside is too hot as in summer, if you set a temperature lower than 24° the air conditioner cannot reach it because the difference is too large, instead what happens is that the air conditioner works under strain and produces so much water that it isn't drained well and instead comes down from the split causing damage to the furniture (or doors) it encounters.
WASTE - At check-out you will have to throw away waste in the appropriate containers that I will communicate to you at check-in. Of course you can also throw away rubbish during your stay if you need.
POSSIBLE 2nd BEDROOM SUPPLEMENT - The basic rental prices refer to two guests who use only one bedroom. If there are two of you and you also want the second bedroom, you can have it by paying the supplement of €10 per night, in cash at check-in, e.g. for a 5-night stay the supplement is €50. If there are more than two guests, yuo haven't pay supplement.
COT AND TABLE SEAT - Upon request, a cot and table seat can be provided.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER, GAS, SMOKE, CO2 DETECTORS - At the moment, photos in the ad don't show the fire extinguisher, gas and smoke detector, and CO2 detector, as these were recently installed, at the end of the season.

This apartment is just as advertised. Salvatore was a great host. The apartment is on the 3rd floor. No elevator, be prepared for stairs. But that makes the view spectacular. It’s a 3-5 minute walk downhill to get to Via Roma where there are shops and restaurants. The center of town is about a 15 minute walk. Walking back is uphill. It’s very doable.

Enjoyed a lovely week in this apartment. Salvatore was vey friendly and helpful answering any questions promptly. The apartment is well situated only minutes walk from the beach and supermarket and a little further to the old town with plenty of good restaurants. You need to be fit enough to climb the stairs but that is clearly stated beforehand.
The only very small issue we had was that the description says there is a kettle. We took this to mean an electric kettle but in fact water must be boiled in a pan. Salvatore took this on board and said he will consider providing an electric kettle in future. Apart from this it is well equipped and we were well able to make meals for ourselves when we wanted.
Easy train journey to Palermo which is a beautiful city. We did not need to hire a car. Would have no hesitation recommending this apartment and Cefalu. Thank you Salvatore.

Two large bedrooms with good beds. Spacious kitchen/living room with tv. Just 10 minutes walk from the beach and another 5 minutes walk to the old town. Only minor drawback is that building is very close to the railway and a railway crossing. Free parking spot at the buiding. Salvatore is a first class host. He replied immediately when when we asked for assistance, and he was very informative ahead of our arrival. I would have given this apartment 5 stars if the shower door had been fixed before our arrival, and hopefully this is fixed as I write. I recommed this apartment and I would like to return.

Only a 10 mins stroll down to the beach, 15 mins stroll into the old town, great views, food and places to explore, comfortable apartment with a responsive easy going owner.

The apartment was comfortable and pleasantly furnished. It was mostly very clean with plenty of space for 2 couples.
The location was 5 or 10 minutes walk to the start of the old town and to the beach.
The last few paces up to the apartment were quite steep and then you walked up to the 3rd floor. OK for us but not for everyone.
Overall we loved it and had a great stay.

Very nice view despite being on the edge of town. Quite large living space and good value. Salvatore was very helpful and showed us the use of all the devices. Good bargain.

This is the second time we stayed at Salvatore’s apartment.
Great location, pleasant 10 minute walk to historic center of Cefalu’, five minute walk to the beach as well as to a large supermarket. Well away from any late night noise. The train that passes in back of building did not bother us at all.
Very clean, large, sunlit, modern, well equipped kitchen with all appliances you may need including a clothes washer.
The kitchen and each large private bedroom has its own doors to the beautiful and spacious balcony overlooking the sea. WiFi ready as well as a TV in each room.
Bathroom has great walk-in shower and a spacious cabinet which includes a laundry bin.
Private parking in back of the building.
A great addition will be the air conditioning that Salvatore said he will be installing very soon.
Some lovely touches like a beach umbrella, cold mineral water in the fridge when we arrived, and a helpful list of cafés, restaurants and pizzerias in town.
Salvatore is a great host, always a phone call away if ever we needed him although the apartment was tip-top and everything worked fine. Overall we were really happy and would stay again.

Faultlessly. Smart spacious apartments. The unique arrangement overlooking the sea, at the same time on a balcony isn't present the hot sun. There are all necessary, ware, towels always excellent naor of water. Within walking distance supermarket and faultless beaches. Attentive and hospitable owner. Defenitely recommended for 4-6 people.

This appartment is spatious, clean, very nice. The host is very friendly.
You can leave your car at the appartment and visit the city by foot. In 15 minutes you can walk to the old city centre .You are 5 minutes for the beach and the boulevard
And the view from the balcony is just GREAT!!

We stayed in the flat (family with 2 children) for the whole of August. The owner came to pick us up from the airport and was very helpful. The flat was very clean and well presented (change of sheets/towels done by the owner every week!)and had very big rooms and everything we needed for the stay. The balcony was very large and we used it as an "outside" dining room and living room. It has a wonderful view over the coastline and the sea. 10 minutes walking to the beach and 5 minutes to a large supermarket and shops. 15 minutes walking to the old town.
The trainline runs directly in front of the balcony, however the trains weren't noisy as they slow down for the station. We didn't almost noticed them!
Cefalu' is a lovely town with a beautiful sandy beach and lots of restaurants, shops, gelaterie, etc. The food is wonderful wherever you choose to eat. Very full of tourist in August in the old town, but plenty of places to choose from. Yummy icecream!!!
There are lots of tour (to Catania, Etna, Siracusa, Lipari islands, etc.etc.) offered or you can hire a car and drive to the numerous sightseeing places on the island.
We loved the holiday and would go back again!
