Not seeing the value for money staying in this hotel. Not recommended.

No special liking

The amenities in the room are quite basic and run down. The shower room needed a real renovation.

Beautiful view from a room with a Japanese traditional tatami floor

The view from a room was really beautiful. You can see beautiful Nagara River and Mount Kinka.

From the outside the hotel doesn’t look that attractive. But inside is very clean and staffs are very helpful.

Location Onsen and outdoor Ofuro Pretty river and castle facing views Friendly staff helped us book Ukai Omakase package

Breakfast set although is a specialty set could include meat instead of only heated miso. For the price paid we expected more than a bento set.

Excellent location to appreciate Gifu Castle and Nagara river.

The view is absolutely magnificent. We had a clear view of both the Gifu castle as well as the Nagara river. We spent majority of our time sitting in front of our window and enjoying the view.

Not too many restaurants to our likings. But we still prefer quiet location to bustling nightlife surrounding.

Exceptional

I loved the view from my room. The river and Gifu Castle were just amazing. The staff were very pleasant and wanted to make us comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. It appeared that the building was renovated recently. Soaking in hot water at the rooftop bath was fantastic.

None for my stay.

Very good location next to the river

The canteen is located just next to the river. We can watch the performance while taking dinner inside.

The open air bath is not hot spring, but hot water.
