Excellent value with very friendly and helpful staff/proprietors.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The general ambience is lovely for such a central location - it's great that they have an outside sitting area. The parking provision was generous.

I would suggest maybe a healthier cereal choice at breakfast (e.g. muesli) and a choice of juices or even the offer of fresh fruit at breakfast. Not all stairs have proper handrails.

Very pleasant straightforward hotel in a central location with good parking.

Good choice for our overnight stop in Rugby. Small double room was very small, but was clean, well maintained with fresh attractive decor, and had all necessary facilities. Hotel is on main road, but there is good parking at the back of hotel and our room was quiet. Friendly and professional reception. Short walk to restaurants etc

Nothing to complain of. Room was small - might be too tight if you were large or lacking mobility - but it was clearly offered as a small double and priced accordingly, so very fair.

Convenient location and welcoming.

It was near to where I wanted to be. It wasn't a problem arriving late. The staff were welcoming. The full English breakfast was good.

The shower was a bit weak. The chair at the desk was too low.

Friendly and really helpful staff. Pleasant breakfast room and a good breakfast. Comfortable room, quite dated but nice clean bathroom. Great location for what we needed.

Carpet in the room is tired, but for a one night stopover I would definitely book again.

Excellent service, positive experience.

The owner helped to take luggage to our room. Room was very nicely laid out and dressed and was clean. Tea and coffee provided and other accessories. Bed was comfortable and pillows were great. Breakfast was wonderful. Freshly cooked to order and served individually straight from the pan and it was all hot. It meant a slight delay between each guest being served, but only a minute and this was acceptable. Toast was amazing. No thin sliced white bread, it was chunky malted farmhouse cob slices, deicious. Only the best butter, no plastic margarine on the table. Everything else you could need for breakfast, it was lovely. The owner was extremely well mannered and listened to requests and went above and beyond to give good service. It was so nice to be in a kind of old fashioned hotel and not a commercial noisy chain hotel.

We did not realise that there was no lift in the building, so had to use the stairs but the owner carried our luggage up to our room. The building layout does not suit a lift installation but we had not realised. Still, it would not stop us staying again.

It was very Basic and the people were friendly but it was too expensive for what we got.

I loved the plants and Gardens

I felt that the milk in the room was off and there was no evening meal also the Breakfast was over priced for what we got
