Disappointed that the room was so small. Tv up far too high to enjoy watching. Noisy from other rooms.

Renovated rooms and bathrooms to high standards.

Outside was tatty and building needed work done to look more appealing. We were not out in the building advertised online but one across the street.

Perfect, exceeded expectations!

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area with so many fun things to do in the locality, rooms were as you would expect for a hotel pitched in this bracket, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and happy to go above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and enjoyment.

A delightful place to stay a little far out from the center of Soulac Sur Mer

The rooms were pleasant, well equipped.

The balcony was not very clean or very welcoming. The balconies on either side were not tidy or ready for the season. There was no bike shelter and no outside charging points for electric nikes. The food was good but a bit heavy.

Nice family owned hotel with a good restaurant, right by the beach. Our room (we had booked a "double room with terrace") had a perfect view on the little church on the other side of the street and the beach - and the terrace was actually quite big.

Couldn't say that, however, about size of the room, which was still fine. The only thing was that the bed might need a new mattress, the bed really wasn't that comfy, I'll have to say...

The great vibe and lovely service makes up for the slightly disappointing cleanliness standard and need for modernisatio

Unfailingly friendly service by the staff/ family running the hotel. Very good value breakfast. Great location, overall good, friendly, safe vibe.

Room and bathroom not modernised/painted/maintained in a while. General cleanliness not overwhelming, some spider families felt very comfortable. Daily cleaning of our room found stained towels left on the floor for laundry folded back up for reuse and used tea cups left sitting around.

Breakfast was excellent. Knowledge of special dietary requirements poor but great selection of food available. Proximity to the beach was much appreciated. The balconies off the rooms were a great addition.

No air conditioning but management did provide fans for the rooms. Decor is not typically French and exhibited some mild Asian influence.

disgraceful service

booked a large room which turned out to be two rooms connected by a corridor. so I had two small rooms a corridor and bathroom, balcony was a smoking room (outside) asked for dinner they said wait outside by road on terrace and so had a beer. waited for one hour no one came to take my order. so came inside and waiter laughed when I said been waiting an hour.

Exceptional

The hotel was about 100 yards from a beautiful uncrowded beach and right on the velodysee. There were two good places to eat within a two minute walk or many more 3km away on the bike. There was an excellent breakfast with a huge variety of food and good coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was probably the best this holiday and we had a balcony with sea and garden view and lots of birds singing.

make sure you try the amazing French/Thai restaurant

clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Dinner in the restaurant, based on French and Thai cuisine, was really excellent.

it’s a 5-10 min drive to Soulac centre and other restaurants etc….but no need to go there when the hotel restaurant is so good!

A very nice and secure place to break your journey, A very comfortable stay.

Given a lovely room with balcony. Breakfast superb. Good restaurant. Helpful staff. Gated secure parking.

Good evening meal but the steak was a little tough. A shame because the food we have had at this hotel before was excellent.

We upgraded our room as it was my birthday. My husband asked the hotel to pro vide champagne and flowers whi h they ki dly did and added strawberries and chocolates which was a nice touch.

Food at breakfast all very sweet I don't have a sweet tooth, so plain croissants would have been nice but we were offered boiled eggs so not a complaint

Great location and clean comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff.

Fantastic location a 2 minute walk from a vast beach. Staff went the extra mile to be friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. We got the car ferry across to Royan next morning which knocked a couple of hours off our onward journey.

Bar prices seemed high but we had come from Spain so that may have made it more of a shock.
