Really friendly staff, made us all feel welcome. Amazing blonde lady at breakfast who was so lovely and helpful. Nice atmosphere.

My only quim was in our room when we checked in it looked as though it was dusted after hoovering with some dust debris on the floor.

Perfect stay as always

We have stayed here many times recently whilst dealing with a family bereavement after first discovering this place about 18 months ago. Its so convenient right off the M11 , the pub itself has a lovely homely vibe & the staff are always fabulous & deliver great service with a smile. The food in the pub in the evenings is of a high standard with daily specials , as is the breakfast in a morning. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay , including tea & coffee making facilities. If you’re after somewhere to stay near Harlow/ stanstead we really couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Value for money and close to location for work. But not as clean as I would have looked it.

Bathroom was not cleaned recently. Dust on the shelves and dirt still in the bath. Possibly due to still having rust in it.

Lovely friendly place

Lovely family feel, everyone was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Felt completely at home. Great food downstairs in the pub. Nice breakfast.

Great place to stay for a solo traveller, felt safe and comformatable

East to find, plenty of parking, good sized room with good facilities and a welcoming restaurant with good food. As a solo female traveller I felt very comfortable in the restaurant and bar area, had a lovely vibe and the food was handmade and delicious! Great breakfast with lovely service, would recommend

Door handles and locking mechanisms are noisy so could hear neighbouring guests coming in and out of rooms at night and early morning but this wouldn’t prevent me from returning in the future again
