Große Vorfreude, dann kam die Ernüchterung. Würde das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

- kostenloser Hotelparkplatz - Abendessen im Restaurant

- Extremer Straßenlärm Tag und Nacht (3-spurige Ortsumgehungsstraße), man kann kaum schlafen und ist nur noch genervt. Die Fenster sind weder isoliert noch dicht, man kann bei geschlossenem Fenster durch die Dichtung nach Außen greifen. Schlimmste Hotelerfahrung die ich je gemacht habe. - Ein Zimmerwechsel war am nächsten Tag möglich, dass neue Zimmer war deutlich ruhiger, allerdings auch etwas kleiner, insbesondere das Bad. Es war also ein Downgrade, allerdings hat man nun seine Ruhe. - Frühstück ist teuer und mit wenig Auswahl, daher nur an einem Tag gebucht und dann selber versorgt - Personal ist nicht sonderlich freundlich (auffallend da in Irland alle Menschen sehr freundlich und herzlich sind) und im Restaurant ist das Personal sehr unaufmerksam

Pleasant stay in a popular hotel with good facilities a fair priced bar.

Room size, facilities and cleanliness were excellent and spa facilities were great

Having to pay €3 for a swim hat to use the pool and the quality of the sausages at breakfast was disappointing.

Super hotel.

Great value. Service was exceptional. Food great quality. Music in the bar was lovely.....not too loud ...really enjoyed it.

Just two bottles of water in the room would have been the icing on the cake.

ok stay in this large hotel

The room was large and comfortable. There was a good choice of food on the menu in the bar. I didn't see any menu for the other restaurant in the hotel The barman in the residents bar was very nice and helpful

The noise from the traffic on the road from early morning was very loud. There seemed to be air vents in the windows that we could not close. We were room only but booked breakfast for one morning. it was 14euro if pre booked but 16 euro if you just arrived at the breakfast room. So the advice is to pre book. There was no choice of breads and I did not see any fresh fruits. I didnt think it was good value for money. There was live music one night but it finished at 11pm

Exceptional

We arrived early and decided to dine in the lounge. Carvery was served very quickly and I must say the food was amazing. There was plenty of meat served with all the trimmings. We were informed when our room was ready ahead of time. The staff were all very pleasant and very helpful. The room was very clean great sized beds very comfortable. The leisure facilities were also great We both tried the sauna jacuzzi and pool all was so refreshing.

dated rooms. poor food, will never be back

Rooms are dated. and meal in the bar was awful. came with wrongly cooked steak and when sent back it took 30 mins to get the dish back again by which time my partner was finished. when it came back veg was cold. would never eat here again. or stay for that matter. rooms take you back in time to the 70/80’s looks good on the outside but never again

Never Again to Mount Errigal

After the experience I can’t say I liked anything unfortunately

I ordered drinks from the bar to have with my meal and then asked for a glass of ice to put into the drinks as there wasn’t much ice and I was told it would cost me €5.50 for this glass of ice ! - I asked staff and was told this was to stop people drinking in their rooms , I made the point I am sitting in a group of 4 with food on the table and obviously not drinking in my room There was jelly sweets on the carpet in the bedroom under the tv that my 2 year old picked up . 4 of us went to the pool and needed swimming hats . The ‘book’ to charge things to the room wasn’t available so I said I could pay cash . I was staying another night at this point ! 2 hours later whilst sitting in the hotel restaurant eating dinner , I get a call on my mobile to pay the €12 cash for the hats !!!! The food in the bar the second night was poor . the chips had to be returned as half cooked and also the chicken wings were cold .

Better than expected overall as we couldn't find regular b&b with low budget, price was good.

Dined and service was quick enough/friendly, location was above expectation with decor/cleanliness/standard. Food was very good. Breakfast was of good selection/quality.. bacon a bit overcooked. Well enough space in surroundings, enough staff serving.

Bathrooms are small but usable, toilet/door facing room entrance door doesn't seem right (family user so child/parent with bathroom door open is norm for us).

Great comfy hotel

The size of the bedroom was very spacious.... Perfect. Bed was larger than king-size.

The traffic noise was heard in the room, even late in the evening and very early morning.

Plunge Pool and Steam room both out of use. Unfortunate but couldn't be helped.

Good location and good value

Location V good. Used the Leisure centre

Room furniture could do with up grading.One of the beds was a bit worn. Beakfast at 16 Euro was a bit much. Evening meal in the bar was very good and good value.

Comfortable well situated hotel.

Very comfortable hotel room, spacious and clean. Ensuite facilities clean too. Tea/coffee facilities in room too. Reception staff well informed, pleasant and welcoming. Hotel was very busy, though plenty staff to cope with their guests.

Downstairs was great,bar area great and food was good too

Cleanliness of bathroom could of been better shower gel and shampoo from previous was on walls and bed wasn't that comfortable. Mouldy smell in hall going to leisure facilities and no staff at it when we went down for about 15 min.
