Amazing hotel with outstanding food and atmosphere!

The atmosphere was amazing, great location and superb breakfast and dinner. We really liked our stay. The staff was great. Definitely plan to come back as soon as possible!

The room was quite dusty (dust under the bed as well as on the beams) which triggered my allergies.

5 nights went very quickly.

Nice room, comfortable beds, friendly staff, balcony, reasonable price

Unfortunately no air conditioning so rooms can be warm at night but beautiful views

Beautiful old hotel with charm & style.

No air conditioning in the rooms made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Not even a fan and the fridge didn’t work, so couldn’t even have a cold drink. Wouldn’t go back.

Superb

Well mantained and clean hotel with good location close to the railway station, cable car, the waterfall and an area with nice restaurants and bars. The staff were polite, helpful and professional. Food and drinks were good. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Definitely recommended.

Not very hospitable people they are despite being in hospitality

I like the sauna and whirlpool and Radon Therapy.

The staff fussing about my table number at breakfast when it was clearly their fault at missing out on my room number. Even at reception, they were not the nicest people upon arrival :(

I’d definitely recommend the hotel and eventually visit again. The service was excellent.

The food was exceptional, the dinner menu had multiple options - appropriate for any dietary constraint/choice. The staff was very friendly, always well informed and forthcoming. The location was great - perfect for hiking/skiing, very close to the Felsentherme, there are a supermarket and a pharmacy not too far away. The whole place was very clean and well maintained.

Overall everything was great. I personally had higher expectations of the pool/SPA area.

perfect Location close to railway station, cable road, but not far from waterfalls. beautiful historic building, nicely maintained. half board is recommended, very wide variety.

I grew up hearing about this hotel and especially about the food and was very disappointed about the fixed buffe menu. T

Beautiful location. Nice old hotel with lots of history. Nice room with balcony with view of mountains.

Unfortunately the hotel is a resort catering to groups of travelers. The spa didn’t completely open until 14.30. No Al a carte at restaurant, just a fixed five course buffe. No snacks available in the bar, just drinks. Tariff charge for late checkout. 25 € to checkout at 12.00.

Lovely for an upmarket week with great service and outstanding food offer.

The food and drink were of an excellent standard . The staff were very well trained and professional. They were always polite and service was excellent. The bar is well stocked and the cocktail making of a very high standard The whole hotel is very clean and well maintained.

The pool area is good, however, it is quite a small pool for the number of hotel residents. The area was noisy and overcrowded. It was a very child intensive environment. Having the massage area next to it was a noise problem even though the therapy was great. The provision of the adult only spa area is welcome and essential.

Good location, comfortable room.

Breakfast with specific tables for each room. Don't trust the receptionists - they don't know how to get to attractions. We wasted an hour waking the wrong direction.
