Although very unsure about what to expect , I was very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

It was clean , comfortable and full of character. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained with 2 small swimming pools . Although there later in the year, I could see plenty of use of the grounds in summer. The food I had at the hotel was always well cooked and delicious.

There wasn’t anything obvious that stood out as adversely affecting my stay.

Beautiful hotel for a comfortble stay while in Chisinau

This hotel is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish that we could have stayed a few days longer to have had time to enjoy the peaceful and relaxing gardens and swimming pools. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was very comfortable and just what I needed after traveling several days to get to Moldova from Alaska. We were able to walk to the US Embassy within about 15 minutes in the morning (much easier than trying to find parking near the embassy) and then enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the nearby lake. The hotel is beautifully decorated inside and outside.

We stayed in a junior suite, so I realize this isn't the top tier accommodation, but I still expected a little more, in particular the bathroom. It was actually too big and the amenities were much too small for the space - a nice big tub, toilet and bidet, but a small sink and absolutely no counter space and no towel racks. The floor was very slippery when even a small amount of s=water was present, and the towel and robe was hanging on the only hook on the other side of the room. I'm not cure why there was a curio cabinet in the room at all, and the specific placement prevented the bathroom door from opening completely (although still easily able to pass through he doorway). We stayed mid-May and the nights were still chilly, but there was no heat in the room (the air conditioning unit has a "heat" function but it didn't seem to work). The television was a nice touch, if the channels were working. The "cable box" was not easy to figure out how to work and most of the channels were not available. Based on the name of the hotel I figure that the hotel tries to appeal to government officials and individuals who have business to conduct with the various nearby embassies, so I equally expected access to English-speaking channels (the "cable box" in an internet based device so this should be VERY easy to accommodate). Maybe our room just wasn't working at that time.

Nothing, it's not 5*, maybe 2* or 3*

First of all this building stays in private sector between neighbours and you never understand if you here first time that this is hotel. Noisy from outside every time, day and night, dogs and construction. Also big dog was in next room. For breakfast you have to go to the other building and if cold weather it's uncomfortable. And ala cart. You need to wait when they cook smth. Not big choice. When you come to the room you stop at the bed immediately. Everything is old in the room and everywhere smell from the swimming pool. In the bathroom no good light and impossible to open blinds for day light. The shower isn't good pressure and difficult to fix warm water, only cold or hot. In the room was cold, no hitting, just air-conditioning. Staff don't speak English! No elevator and nobody could help to drop my luggage. Awful. I was disappointed at all. I never recommend to stay here. I never have been so awful staying.

Good value hotel

The receptionist was extremely helpful. The breakfast was made to order. I particularly would recommend the shakshuka. Lots of bathroom bits. Very clean Value for money all round was excellent. Bill at the end.

Nothing. Customers must understand by western standards this is old fashioned in both good and in a satisfactory sense.The staff try to ensure you have a good stay which more upmarket hotels could learn from. Decoratively its from a previous era and the towels are changed whether requested or not(bath towels are too small).

Awesome staff and service. Big room. Great quality for this price.

We stayed in this hotel during Russian invasion to Ukraine. The staff were super supportive. They offered us dinner for free in addition to breakfast. While I was working staff helped my wife and daughter as they could. While other hotels tried to increase price in this hard times this hotel haven't changed price and it saved us. When we found apartments for longer stay the hotel staff helped us by extending booking for this room for other our friends from Ukraine. Thank you very much.
