Would return!
Lovely village pub & hotel. Our room had quirky decor, was lovely and spacious and had a fab shower. Breakfast was £15pp and included a continental buffet (with homemade yoghurt which was delightful) and then a cooked breakfast and a continuous stream of coffee and toast. Staff were friendly, parking was easy and would be lovely to sit out in the beer garden in summer
Not much to comment - about a 25/30 minute drive from Malham or Grassington but still a good spot for entry to the Dales

Perfect
Could rate this place highly enough. Very spacious, attentive staff & food was delicious.
Pillows could be better in my opinion. Far to firm for me.

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodation, the friendly staff and excellent dinner but my previous comments apply.
the refurbishment was excellent with tasteful fabric to the whole Inn.
In order to raise the profile of the accommodation I feel that a few areas could be addressed. The breakfast selection was limited (the inclusion of staple items in any hotel - eg porridge, toast, yoghourt). It may be trendy to be addressed by the waitresses as ‘you guys’ but it is definitely a no no with me. I don’t expect to be addressed as madam. but I am definitely not a guy. The waitresses were very uniformly dressed but the males could have made more effort and dressed perhaps in a shirt and trousers rather than a T shirt and denim jeans which would endorse the excellent cooking skills of the chef. This was the difference to me between staying in a pub and a country hotel.

Lovely room with a great bathroom. Friendly and attentive staff. Good location for hiking.
The room was lovely and the shower room was amazing, really wonderfully furnished with a ceiling shower and light-up mirror. Food was really special, especially the desserts. Compliments to the chef! Staff always friendly and accommodating.
A previous visitor had used the coffee pods and put them back in the fresh coffee pod tray. Not really the fault of The Plough but it felt a little unclean because of this.

Room for Improvment
The Sunday Roast was beautiful, the beef was cooked perfectly. My partner had the pork and it was very nice, and both dishes were very well presented. The real open fire was lovely to sit by.
The omelette served at breakfast was very poor was flat and not fluffy and full like it should have been, definitely not a 3 egg omelette as stated on the menu. We didn't get asked if we wanted toast so didn't get any. It would be nice if the staff were dressed more presentable. Dining room would benefit from blinds being opened in the morning to let in the light, when having breakfast. The dining room floor was filthy, and needed a good clean.
