Super verblijf

Prachtige Masseria, ongelooflijk mooie omgeving, lekkere diners, zeer uitgebreid ontbijt Supervriendelijk personeel in de keuken en aan ontbijt Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door eigenaar en zijn zoon.

Receptioniste eerder koel en weinig enthousiast om info te verstrekken. Beloofde welkomstdrink zoals beschreven in mail bij boeking, niet aanwezig, niet bekend bij receptioniste Emanuella, die ook verder geen verdere stappen ondernam om dit in orde te brengen.

Beautiful and peaceful setting with amazing infinity pool

The swimming pool area is beautiful with plenty of shade and comfortable beds. Breakfast is good.

Dinner is good for the day you arrive or if you don't want to leave the 'farm' but you might want to consider local restaurants if you are staying more than one night.

Wonderful, would stay again

Delicious food, beautiful grounds, cosy light room, lovely bed, welcoming staff, lovely dogs. A little remote but that is part of the charm. No good walking routes directly from the property.

Were only told about the set menu for the evening - another guest managed to order al la carte but the staff struggled a little to accommodate that. The set menu can begin to feel pricey after a few nights on the trot but there was variety each night and the quality was great.

it was a lovely stay at a lovely property and I would highly recommend it if you are in the area.

The property was beautiful with a lovely pool and grounds. The staff was very accommodating. The room was fantastic with complementary water and beverages in the fridge.

Itwould have been nice if the breakfast had a bit more variety or at least different choices each day. Also, the dinner was slightly over priced at €50 per person. I don’t think the quality of the food merited the price. However, the location is slightly remote, so finding a restaurant close by was difficult.

Fabulous Masseria, adorable red setters!

A fabulous masseria that was renovated with love, care and attention to history and character. Lovely comfortable characterful rooms. Fabulous pool and outside space with lovely sweeping green country view. Uma and Alain the red setters are adorable. Very relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and to have a real bucolic experience but with a bit of luxury. Breakfast and dinner were both great. Nicole who looked after us for dinner and the twins who looked after us for breakfast were super lovely.

Beautiful, cosy biomasseria

Stunning, serene place. Perfect stay for a quiet, slow break. Food is very tasty. Still plenty to do if you're feeling bored: cycling around, yoga or massage, there's a cinema and a library. Room is large and cosy. Would love to return back again soon.

Plenty of wasps which eventually stung me. Maybe it's worth trying some aroma / candles that repel wasps eg in South Asian countries lemongrass-scented candles are often used.

Not family friendly

Our main contact at the property, Maria, is a fabulous person….warm, competent, genuine. Her customer focus and communication skills are superb; she should be running the whole operation there.

The owner was abrupt when speaking with us. Also, he tried to charge us twice for the booking fee and I had to point that out at checkout. He then produced two more incorrect bills before I finally paid what he asked so we could pack and leave. Food was not great and waitstaff was slow. We always had to ask for water or bread at meals; zero proactivity on their part. LOTS of bees at the pool and on the restaurant terrace. I guess that is to be expected at a Masseria, but beware.

An idyllic setting and outstanding local food.

A wonderful place with great charm and fantastic cooking. It was wonderful to meet the owners and their dogs.
