Очень радушный приём

Бронировал одноместный номер, а по факту получил двухместный. Все необходимое присутствовало: зубная щётка, мыло, шампунь, одноразовые тапочки, щётка для обуви, чайник, посуда, чашки, стаканы, вилки,ложки, ножик, телевизор (2 русских канала), сейф, холодильник, фен. Уборка с заменой полотенец каждый день. Большой выбор продуктов на завтраке, включенном в стоимость. Не высокая стоимость ужина - все то же что и на завтраке + рыба и мясо. Наличие сушилки для горнолыжных ботинок. Там же (в лыжехранилище) оставлял на сушку перчатки (на батарее). Микроавтобус возил на горку и с горки начиная с 9:30. Время в пути 8 минут. Есть сауна. Стоимость одного часа 7 тыс драм. Можно поделить на 5-6 человек. Больше там не поместится. Бассейн теплый (26-27 градусов) но маленький (примерно 3х12,5 метров). В бассейне кроме душа ничего нет. Есть бильярд и 2 теннисных стола. Ракетки для тенниса сильно покоцаны. Имеются шахматы и нарды.

Единственное, что мне не понравилось - отсутствие в ванной комнате полотенцесушителя. Батарея отопления в номере скрыта за панелью. Сушить носки, плавки, перчатки негде.

Bad

The room was rather big.

I passed two nights in this hotel with my 9-year old daughter and it was the worst stay of my life. No heating (we had to switch two small heating devices to heat the big living-room and the bedroom), the breakfast was horrible, and though we paid for accommodation with breakfast included, we didn't go down to their restaurant the second morning, but ate what we had had to buy in the nearest supermarket the evening before. It smelled of humidity in the building and some people were smoking in the building despite the no-smoking warnings on the wall; and it didn't seem to bother the administration... The whole building needs to be renovated, as everything is old, blemished and worn out. The TV capted only some local channels (though in the description it was noted that there were lots of satellite channels...). In a word, I wouldn't absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fascinating soviet-time experience

This establishment has maintained a very fascinating soviet-time interior and atmosphere. Lovely! The breakfast was nice. The staff very friendly. The place is like a living time machine. The room was comfortable and had a lot of space. Good location for skiing at Tsaghkadzor.

Substantial health resort

A lot of services for children: snow sledges and tubes with specially prepared slope, trampoline, stuffed toys, etc. The same for adults: pool, library, board games, PlayStation, piano, air hoсkey, etc. Great location - nature around, near the center of Tsaghkadzor, well-groomed territory (for Armenia). A lot of facilities in the room, good catering (but cheap though). Huge and cozy hall, carpets in the corridors. In general it was a pleasure to explore the corners of the resort.

Short bed with small blankets. Quite cold in the room due to gaps in windows and doors. The same in the hall (because it is big). Resort needs in renovation.

A rare case when Booking average review score makes no sense. Stay away from this Soviet relic!

Friendly staff (two out of three people whom we dealt with). The other one was rude and also stank.

Old and cold, stuff breaks down. To get hot water we needed to call maintenance. Three times. And if you go through minor things, it's all like this. As one example, look at the billiards table. Plastic cue tip and plywood table base. It all must have been chic 50 years ago. Wi-Fi? Does not work. We would not have stayed if we knew what we were in for.

Very good

Very nice place, quite, very tasty and fresh air

Little bit cold in the autumn, we had the fireplace, but I think it's supposed to be used in winter only.

Superb

I decided to celebrate my birthday in this beautiful place and enjoy the services the hotel provided. Maybe because of my birthday we were offered a 2-room lux with a balcony (instead of a standard room). We enjoyed the experience, as everything was clean and high-functioning. I wanted to have the massage service from the list and it was excellent. Unfortunately, we haven't tried the horse-riding experience available there. So next time, I hope.

I guess the interior of the lux room could be improved and modernised because it has the vibe of the beginning of 2000s. Everything else was alright.

Great place , must stay

location is superb and hut on the backyard is an additional beauty for morning tea or night hangout. Restaurant , supermarket very close to property . Staff very humble and sweet 😊.

Breakfast for vegetarians very limited

Perfect comfort and Perfect rooms with friendly staffs and perfect hospitality!!!!

View from the hotel is so good and worth spending your quality time. Rooms were very neat and nice aroma. They had clean bathrooms and staffs were too cooperative. I liked the hospitality and their positive approach. They allowed us to early check-in free of cost because of the weather outside which was extremely kind gesture. I really recommend Writer's House anyday in future.

Great location, friendly staff, a place of culture where many famous writers have been creating.

The staff is exceptionally helpful and nice. The place location is perfect, just in the center, and surrounded by nice forest trees.

The hotel is perfectly located - at a dead end of the road (and thus quiet place) and close to restaurants. It is a soviet time pension for writers so it has a unique ambiance and design. The staff is friendly: we've been offered a selection of three rooms upon arrival and a chambermaid brought a heater to our room, which was just in time

Sorry, guys, but it was one of the worst breakfasts in my life. Noone expected Michelin quality food but flyes in the porridge and poor quality dumplings and sausages, to my mind, shouldn't be served to guests.
