Une belle expérience

Une dame charmante vous accueille, la responsable. Vous rentrez tout est propre. Elle vous conseille sur les parkings gratuits sur Levanto. Et un petit déjeuner donnant sur une vue mer très copieux. Une belle adresse à retenir.

The breakfast was generous and good. The staff are terrific,and the place is located in a quiet, beautiful setting overlooking Levanto and the bay. Atlantico Borgo is my favourite place to stay which is why I have now stayed there several times.

A good hotel with pros and cons. Given the price of 180 € the room was unsophisticated.

The hotel is picturesquely positioned on a hillside with a vue of Levanto from the gardens. However, the location comes at a price. Firstly, you have to park your car in a small parking lot at the roadside and to walk down to the hotel and possibly two flights of stairs up to your room. You may want ask the staff to help you with your baggage. Secondly, as there are no restaurants close by you have to drive to Levanto and return at night on a narrow winding road with lots of serpentines. Back at the hotel you may not find a space to park your car. The hotel excelled with an excellent breakfast with fruit, cheese, ham, salami, sweets, jam, bread, fried eggs, orange juice and a choice of cofffee which was all served on a roofed garden terrace with a view of the sea and Levanto. Finally, the owner and staff were very helpful and polite. Apart from the torture matress there is not much to criticize although we think that the room was overpriced at 180 €. Had we booked the room just a day prior to our arrival we would have paid only 150 €.

The "back-breaking" criticism is the Japanese style mattress that was hard as concrete. Not a good night's sleep at all and aching bones in the morning. As this had been pointed out in other reviews as we noticed only later we discussed the problem with the owner and he said that guests should inform the hotel about their mattress preference before arrival and he would try to accomodate their wishes. The hotel has only 8 rooms but as the rooms are not soundproof it can be noisy if you have inconsiderate neighbours.

Just what we needed

Excellent stay! We had a lot of luggage and a bigger car and the parking was easy and just up the road. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. We spent a lot of time by the pool and it was so relaxing. The train station to visit cinque terre was 10 minutes down the road in Levanto and they provided us with a parking pass which was very helpful. This is the best bed & breakfast I personally have ever stayed in!

Would return in a heartbeat

Views were great. The distance from Levanto was 10-15 mins which made it a great gateway to Cinque Terre. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices, sweet or savory.

The noise from neighboring rooms could have been insulated better

A great stay at l’Antico Borgo B&B

The property is all renovated, with a charming garden and pool overlooking the valley. Staff has been very kind, and their breakfast menu was very complete and delicious! A nice place to stay outside from the crowded areas.

Authentic b&b with super views over Levanto. Great staff & pool area.

Wholesome fresh breakfast served on the terrace with fabulous views. Staff super helpful and friendly. The pool area is a treat to relax in one of the deck chairs with a good book under the shade.

Great little hidden gem

Fantastic location off the beaten track. Amazing views during the day and evening. Comfortable, clean room with good breakfast and good selection of snacks. Fantastic outdoor eating/sitting area with great views. Fantastic service

Beautiful calm place at the edge of Cinque Terre

- Great combination of a ‘antique’ hotel with modern swimming deck - Amazing views from the pool - Very cool that you get a free parking card for Levanto. Levanto actually surprised us; its a very cool town and more laidback (less touristy) than the actual Cinque Terre towns

- You really NEED a car to go anywhere here - but that’s a small price to pay for the calm and the views

Superb

Loved the people who work here. They were very nice and helped us having our best stay! The rooms are not very luxurious, but you’ve got everything you need and it’s very clean. We really liked the breakfast at the terrace with the view and we loved the little pool! Had a perfect stay here. Thanks!

Nice view to Levanto

The staff was amazing. The view down to Levanto is incredible. This is the perfect place if you want to avoid the touristic and noisy places down on the coast. Great value for money!

Our room didn’t have a view down the valley. It was big but the decoration is a bit “old fashioned”.
