Superb

Nice accommodation with absolutely outstanding people. The friendliness of the whole family is unmatched, and compensates every small thing which might not seem perfect (and with a bit of effort that can be solved too,and they will make sure it is solved!). There are nice views from the pool, and great breakfast. The cottages itself are cute and cosy (at least Toneis), quite small though,but really lovely and made with a lot of taste. Kitchen is well equipped,even oven and dishwasher available. We would always go back. Thanks so much!

If you're after luxury and perfect service in a technical sense you might be disappointed. But you'll find something else which is much more valuable.

Amazing place, truly a special experience in the gorgeous mountains of Portugal.

Incredible homemade yogurt, bread, butter, milk, and cheeses.

The beds are firm, but clean and comfortable enough.

Great potential but human support failed big time

We stayed at the large Estau house - huge, with a modern kitchen, nice living room. During the summer we would enjoy the private pool and bbq. The house is almost perfect for a large family or a group of friends... If everything goes well.

The house heater was not working for most of the time, for two nights we were cold, with kids. During part of the night, we had no electricity, we had to have dinner with phones lights. This was being reported but the worst part was the staff response, especially from the boss in charge - no excuses, no solutions, close to rude sometimes, several times not reachable by any means, the next day completely indifferent when he saw us at breakfast time.

Exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay in this unique, interesting property. We stayed in the One-Bedroom Villa Feche. Paolo welcomed us with a loving description of the property. The beds were comfortable with lovely linens. The kitchenette was fully equipped. Views over the valley were idyllic. Breakfast choices were vast and excellent. We highly recommend a stay here.

Big thanks to Teresa and her family for a great place made with love and soul!

The way the hosts serve the breakfast is worth a million positive reviews. Everything is really neat, careful, tasty! We traveled with a child, and there were some toys for him in the breakfast room! Coffee is just great! My husband and I adore such places to stay, the view is just gorgeous! It's a good place to feel calm and harmony!

The property is AMAZING, such a good place to relax. Home made breakfast in a lovely room.The owners were amazing, very friendly and attentive, they take care of every detail! So, so highly recommend. For sure, we’re coming back.

It has the right balance of being left on your own and with owners who are very caring and will help with any questions. The house was beautiful and every little thing well thought of. The breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful room. The swimming pool - the photos don’t do it justice! Lovely hammocks and honesty bar. Enough space to talk to others or be away on your own.

We absolutely loved our Stay @ Quinta do Rapozinho! It was everything we were looking for in this Family escape. Paulo and Teresa are very friendly and we Felt at Home.

I can't recommend Quinta de Rapozinho enough!

I had an amazing stay and already planning to come back if I have a chance! Quinta is located in a beautiful place surrounded by nature with lots of great hikes options. The house I was staying in was the smallest one and it was tiny indeed, but it is very well organised and there was more than enough space for 2 people and 2 dogs. House was very cozy, comfortably warm even on cold nights and had everything you could need- fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and nice bathroom. The breakfast was extraordinary- home-made everything, including warm cake (!). We also ordered dinners and it was a delight- brought to our door, very diverse, made with local products. We asked for a vegetarian option, being sceptical, as Portugal is not very vegetarian friendly yet, but we got surprised with delicious and packed with flavours meals every night, adding to it great local wines available to buy there. Extremely friendly stuff makes the place really special- I even received a bouquet of flowers on the day of my birthday! <3

The art of welcoming

From the photos of the property and comments, I can say that I expected a great stay. But everything lived up to my expectations. The Quinta is gorgeous and the owners knew, like few others, how to restore the houses in an impressive way, combining ancient techniques with extreme good taste and comfort. Small details make all the difference. They know how to receive like no one else because we are treated with generosity and care: very comfortable bed and linen, warm house and a fabulous breakfast. Excellent value for money. I thank you for the excellent stay and I hope to return soon.

Lovely and charming quinta in the mountains with a beautiful view

Lovely and charming quinta in the mountains with a beautiful view. We stayed at Casa de Toneis sleeping in the wine barrels, which is a spacious house with 2 bathrooms with everything you need and most close to the swimming pool. Every morning fresh breakfast with cake delivered at the house. Owner and staff were very kind and helpfull during our stay, especially when our daughter was ill for a few days. Another advantage; as we travelled with a Tesla, it even has a Tesla destination charger!

Nice place to do a reset!

It's a great place to spent a few days. It's located in a very peaceful rural area, ideal to do a reset. The accommodations are very comfortable and different (we've stayed at Villa Toneis) - the beds of the suites are made from old casks of wine - really nice experience, beds were very comfy. The villa is very well equipped, for breakfast and to prepare all other meals. The breakfast was served in the house, the host places every morning homemade brad, yogurts and cake at your door. When you arrive, you have already there all the other products for breakfast. Different attractions in region are not far way from there.

Traditional accomodation in a beautiful region!

We loved the position and the buildings used to host guests, very traditional. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good, with homebaked bread and cakes. Hosts are lovely. Swimming pool was a big plus, to relax and refresh with children after hot days.
