A relaxing, easy and convenient stay at a perfect location on Ischia island.

Staff were friendly and helpful, location was ideal (shops, beach and bus stop within walking distance), the Villa was authentic and peaceful with a gorgeous pool and view. The apartment was large, clean and perfect for a couple.

The kitchen in the apartment was a little antiquated. However, we were still able to make plenty of meals without any problems.

Soggiorno molto piacevole.

Struttura grande, arredata in modo affascinante, immersa nel verde, bella piscina con getto di acqua termale. Stanze pulite e spaziose. Staff cortese, disponible, pronto a risolvere ogni problema. Hanno riaperto la cucina per prepararci la cena quando siamo arrivati la sera tardi per problemi con i traghetti. La posizione è ottima, lontano dai rumori e dalla strada, si può arrivare a piedi a Sorgeto ed è vicina anche a Sant'Angelo.

La Cortesia e la Gentilezza già dai primi contatti ci ha subito messo a nostro agio. La struttura è bellissima e posizionata leggermente in alto dove si può godere del fresco durante la calura estiva. Posto tranquillo...per gli amanti del relax

Overall a very nice place, we had a nice week here. Definitely not a great value for money, but for the peak season in I

Italian family owned property with a pleasant hosts. Authentic atmosphere. Beautiful, well-kept area with lots of greens. There is a small pool with the pool bar, serving drinks and simple snacks, nice music. Location is quite close to St.Angelo. It is possible to rent transport from the hosts (ex.: scooter 35 euros per day), boat tours also available. The kitchen in the loft-room is basically equipped for self catering. Huge number of towels.

The hotel is located a bit far from the infrastructure and requires the personal transport to get anywhere. Some facilities in the room definitely require a renovation - the water from the shower flows into the kitchen, the faucet in the kitchen is leaking, the air conditioner at its minimum temperature cools the space very weakly. The staff speaks poor English, so be prepared for some lack of communication. There is no cleaning service in the room at all (only before check in). WI-FI in the room is really weak and disappears from time to time. There is a lack of some kitchen amenities - no kettle, no cork screw - can you imagine that in Italian property!), chef’s knife, etc. There are no any basic amenities - coffee/tea/olio/spices, etc. You always have to wear a swimming cup in the pool!))This is a very first time for me facing such a requirement in private hotel pool, moreover with only few guests) Breakfast is really basic, no options for the dinner in place. Imho, 250 euros per night is a bit pricey for such an accommodation overall, but this is Ferragosta time in Ischia;)

Wonderfull relaxing place

Mariella is so wonderful and a great host. She would drive us to the road when we went out in the evening. And all the staff were great. I would come here again. Be prepared to walk a little to the next town or restaurant. This is so homy and a great relaxing place to be. The room we had was big and with a terrace.

Perfect stay at Mariela's property! Would like to come back!

Larger than usually appartment with very comfy beds (for 4) Always warm thermal pool water Garden of oranges Welcoming atmosphere Not far to Sorgeto beach - natural hot springs (25 minutes by foot slowly through the narrow path, that you can find on MapsMe) Walking distance to Paza town (great Pizzeria da Luca)

Excellent location to relax and experience a number of Ischia's beaches and hot springs

Staff were amazing, pool area was stunning, grounds were lovely, lots of places to sit and relax, indoor areas to eat or just sit stunning

Bed was large, but very hard (some like this, but I do not). N.b. it is a difficult walk from the bus stop. Anyone with any mobility issues will find all of San Angelo difficult. There are no horses anymore.

Real taste of Italy!

The place was extra ordinary - the orange trees, great view, nice pool, lovely animals. Mariella food was the best food in our whole trip! Definitely recommend to try!

To get near hotel by car was bit complicated because the street was so tiny and steep even for VW Up. But you can leave car in the free parking lot and walk to hotel ca 5-7 minutes or Mariella will help you. ;)

Wonderful stay

This villa is a perfect place if you want to get some slow holidays and enjoy every minute of silence by the pool, or in the garden, dinners and house wine was very good, im sending love to Mariella and everybody, hope to see you again

Exceptional

Marielle and her Ahmed were both super helpful hosts ...Marielle( the owner ) has run Villa Tara for over 20 years . The Villa is beautiful and full of history . We felt very well looked after . We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it by two nights and are looking forward to coming back again . There was the option for evening meals which we chose 4out of our 5 night stay . Food was delicious and very reasonably priced . Super swimming pool and sunsets . It’s also easy to walk to the free hot springs which Marielle was happy to explain how to get too .
