They upgraded our room for free and then hot springs might have the best view of any pool/ hot spring/ hot tub I've ever seen.

Nice price/quality and really enjoyed the hot springs with stunning views!

amazing located lodge. We loved the hot springs and the basic lodges. great stay

The hotsprings and the view were great.
I asked beforehand whether it was possible to get a glutenfree breakfast/dinner, this was confirmed by the lodge. I even asked upon arrival whether a specific meal was glutenfree, this was definitely not the case. We had a terrible night, and we were forced to stop our plans for hiking in the Colca canyon. They did not appear to care about my illness, and they did not offer any kind of apology, which we thought was very rude given the circumstances. It is not only rude, it is also very irresponsible. Llahuar lodge is quite far away from any kind of hospital or medical institution.
"Fortunately" we could still get a taxi from Llahuar to Cabanaconde. However, this taxi was really expensive for Peru (60 euros aprox.) They told us that they had to call a taxi company from somewhere else in the canyon, so we thought that it made more sense that the price of the taxi was that high. They told us that the money was not for them, but for the taxi company. However, when we got ready for the so called taxi company, we found out this was not true, one of the owners of the lodge was the driver of the taxi.
Last but not least, the beds were very uncomfortable, and there were bugs and spiders in our room.

Location is what makes this place a wonderful stay. Surroundings are phenomenal. Cabins are very basic, don’t expect too much, but it suffices. Electricity so you can charge your devices!

Fantastic hot springs.
Nice rooms. Sociable vibe.
Beds a little uncomfortable, breakfast was also quite small considering most people will have to do several hours walking.

Location is really special, perched on the mountain overlooking two rivers that meet. The hot Springs was a highlight for all the guests I think, it was nice and clean and has a lovely river view.
Staff were lovely, we had some broken hiking boots that one staff member fixed overnight, without that, our 3 day trek was over.
Our shower could have been cleaner, but we only booked a shared room, so can't complain too much.

nothing extraordinary
no internet, no water in the bathroom and I had to stay without electricity. But still they persevered and the current came.

Just WOW! We loved it here and could have stayed for weeks. Just what is needed after a long day. The thermal baths are really clean and the views are insane. The food and drinks served here are really good value for money and the staff were really friendly. There is a pool table and games to keep you occupied in the evenings too. The breakfast included was also great with pancakes and butter and jam. The showers were also really cool and super clean considering the outdoors vibes they had. I would 10000% recommend.
Nothing. It was perfect for our stay.

dinner comes rather late

the location is amazing! nothing like soaking in the hot spring pools after a long hike to arrive
we stayed in a double room with bathroom which was basic but very comfortable
Evening meal was good.

Worst service ever. They are rude and are not willing to help when you are in need. They take advantage of their 'monopoly' status in the canyon. If possible, book another place to stay!!

The location is stunning. the hot springs were great along the riverside. friendly staff! nice meeting other hikers! happy I could pay with PayPal (*)
hygiene was not good. my wife did have intestine problems the next day. (*) they charged a 15% fee on top while according to Pacha Mama staff it should be around 6% . a little disappointment but stunning views compensated all!

Insane location - have never stayed somewhere like it! The rooms have everything you need, beds are comfy, the hot springs & access to the river can't be beat. Dinner & breakfast were yummy too! Highly recommend this gem on your hike through colca canyon.

it was next to a beautiful river and paid dinner was delicious. the bed +room was clean and we understand its a remote place.
not as advertised. wifi is not available as advertised and I had to cancel my work. hot springs are not hot springs, no warm water and no friendly customer service. we needed a taxi the next day and mentioned that multiple times the first day and the day we wanted to leave we waited for 2 hours to be taken by the only friendly receptionist with his car (for a charge of 200 soles). still everything took super long and had to ask 2 or 3 times for things which was unnecessary after a time. prices for water/ drinks quiet expensive. breakfast poor for a start of a hiking day, should not be advertised as full breakfast meal (2 pancakes + coffe/tea)

Location is 10/10. Most idyllic spot you can have, besides a river, in between canyons. The are was very green with flowers as well. Very well maintained. Huts were cute and there were comfortable chairs and lay beds outside the huts. Hotsprings are obviously a major win after a long day of hiking. Good dinner for such a remote spot. They make vegan option upon request.
Don't expect to receive answers in English.

The hot pools directly next to the river are very nice. The cabins are simple but since it's kind of a camping totally ok.
The facilities were also good and clean.
It was also not that crowded during our stay which was nice and kind of surprising since the pools are super nice 🙂
Maybe a few hooks in the cabins would be nice and easily implemented.

Amazing place to arrive after a day of hiking. The hotsprings are wonderful!

Was a nice location, with decent hot springs by the river. We had booked a private bedroom with shared bathroom but were upgraded to ensuite bathroom which was really lovely.
There were bugs in the shower... it might be normal for that kind of location but it was still gross. Food was just okay.

Great location, excellent thermal baths by the river, perfect after a long hike down. Beautiful veiws.
The food was not good; my vegetarian dinner was cooked in a pan that was previously used to fry fish so everything tasted fishy. Breakfast was meager.

Hot spring after hike on the Canyon !
Convenient room and warm despite the cold temperature !
A little walk required during the night if you need the bathroom !

A must see place! Peace and quiet, helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful area! And of course very nice thermal baths, especially after a long hike.
Not much really, but beware of the bus schedule: there isn’t one. If you read on the internet that there are daily buses, that is not true. That’s why we didn’t spend the night, but took the bus back to Cabanaconde at 6pm. Otherwise we had to stay 3 more nights to get the next bus, or get a more expensive private transport back. Be sure to check ahead about the busses! In the end we didn’t see any bus (we could have waited longer) and hitched a ride with a passing local in his 4x4. Took almost 1,5 hour to get back to Cbc.

The hotsprings are amazing! They arranged a taxi ride for the next morning.
No hot shower (as expected), the walk up and down the rooms, restaurant and hotsprings were tough after the long hike. Dinner was at a set time, but I was already hungry hours before.

Location
Room didn't have proper walls, long walk up a hill to get from room to reception, very poor internet and very pricey food

the hotsprings are amazing. really nice view and it’s quiet.
only the breakfast was way to little. you got two pancakes, for people who are hiking the whole day (and have been hiking the day before) it’s definitely not enough.
