We absolutely loved this property. It was clean, owners were awesome and you cannot beat the location or the view! You won’t regret staying at the beautiful property.

Cabin was clean and pictures are accurate. The communication with the owners is superb! I loved staying in the park and the location was great. It is a quiet community, which was what we wanted. We saw a bear off the back patio- one of many highlights of this trip! We loved Yosemite and would highly recommend staying here. The steps to the parking place weren’t bad, but could be an issue for some. We went to Glacier Point to watch the stars- I highly recommend doing this and the cabin isn’t too far from that. Sunsets are great from the cabin or off Glacier Point road pull offs.
Loved this cabin!

Excellent place to stay in Yosemite! The house was immaculate and offered every amenity one could want. The host communicated efficiently and was extremely kind. We will definitely stay there again!

The house was exactly as listed and worked out perfect for us. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was always quick to respond . The view from the back patio was fabulous. We appreciated staying in the park and not having to wait in line to enter in the morning. Would definetly recommend and stay here again!

Enjoyed the view!! Driveway was SUPER hard to find, and there’s ALOT of stairs going down to the property. Also listed there was a hot tub, there is not. There’s a Jacuzzi tub, but it takes too long to fill up &the jets were very dirty. Lots of cob webs &giant spiders. Also listed a washer &drier, those aren’t there either. Overall, the stay was fine, view was absolutely beautiful &the location of the actual property is good. Saw some deer outside while having coffee the balcony.

The Mountain Hideaway helped in making it a great time & we never left the park for our 2 weeks stay. It’s located in Yosemite West which is near Glacier Point Road. The drive to Glacier Point is a must. At the end of the road, you get to view the Yosemite Valley from a higher elevation which gives you a visual of the valley floor. I would not want to stay outside the park due to the drives we took, nearly daily, to the valley floor. Yosemite Valley has scenic falls, trailheads, river, markets, food, etc. It is beautiful and many of the main hikes start from here. The best hike was Mist Falls, Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls. You see all of them on this one hike. It’s about 10 miles round trip. Each fall was unique and spectacular. The view from the rental is very nice but they did have a fire several years ago so there are a lot of dead and downed trees. The sunsets were radiant.
We typically eat out when vacationing, but we didn’t know what the dining experience would be like in the park. We flew into Fresno and decided to purchase food. We are glad we did because the markets are expensive and limited. Dining options are limited too but there were a few good places.
I do want to share that our stay was from May 16-29. It was perfect timing because the waterfalls were flowing strongly, the weather was perfect (warm but not too warm), and the park was not overcrowded.
Jeff was a great host, and we would highly recommend staying here.

The rental unit was terrific. Just the right size for a couple. Comfortable and great views.

This house is perfect for a couple - plenty of nice clean space, with a view. The location can't be beat - inside the park very close to Glacier Point, and with your stay here you do NOT need a reservation to get into the park - that is included! As a bonus, the sunsets from the patio are amazing, and one night we saw a mama bear with her baby cub walking up the hill beside the house - all around fantastic!

An amazing stay. You can’t be closer to the park’s best features and the sunset from cottage’s balcony beats any location in the park. Saw a bear up close as we were pulling into the neighborhood. Great stuff.

Highly recommend. This house is inside the park. Avoid the long entry lines to the park and stay here, it's worth it. The views off the back deck are amazing. KItchen had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable.

We loved every minute of our stay in The Hideaway. It was so cozy, comfortable and seeing the lineup of vehicles coming into Yosemite as we were leaving made us so glad we opted to stay inside the park. The hosts provided a wealth of info regarding their property as well as how best to enjoy the park and general area. Can’t wait to come back!

It was a God send after a long day to reach it

This cabin home is perfect for 2 healthy adults. Beautiful scenery from inside and out. Fun to watch the deer and chipmunks from your windows or the nice deck.
It is by far worth the extra to stay inside Yosemite Park. And the cabin is close to Wawona and Glacier Point. Plus not too far from Yosemite Valley.
Be aware there are a lot of stairs to and from the cabin. Especially important after hiking Half Dome.
Do not hesitate to ask the owners for assistance. They are available if needs arise. I wish I'd known this better during my stay. Also be aware there is no access to a washer and dryer even when staying a week
Worth the money spent. The owners are kind and friendly. They have built a beautiful place here for your enjoyment.

This lovely "cabin" has all the amenities of a very nice hotel. The best part is the location inside the park, within about a 25-minute drive to the valley. You are very near the turn to Glacier Point Road and also close to Wawona. I was extremely comfortable and only wish I could have stayed longer.

From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the spectacular views, the towering trees, the calming sound of the Merced River in the distance, and the overall charm and amenities of the idyllic cabin itself. Everything needed is provided for total comfort. As others have mentioned, there are several flights of stairs from the parking space down to the house, but we managed fine. The location is quiet and private, and only a 10-15 minute drive to Yosemite Valley with all of its attractions. Mariposa Grove and Wawona are 15-20. Jeff and Melissa are great hosts, easy to reach, and provided a wealth of information that was very helpful. My wife and I hope to return some day.

We had an incredible time! The Hideaway has everything you need for a comfortable stay. After a long day at the park it was nice to cook dinner and recover with a good night’s rest in the very comfy bed. Easy drive into the park’s main attractions. Would love to stay again one day.

We drive into Yosemite each day and did fabulous hikes. Short 30 minute drive to get to the Valley. The Hideaway had a great jet tub that soaked the sore muscles after our long hikes. Great view from the deck and peace and quiet!

This vrbo is a great, intimate cottage just inside Yosemite. I absolutely loved the jacuzzi tub and the overall look and feel of the cottage. And the host was very helpful and courteous.

wonderful cottage/cabin built into the hillside. great views very quiet and private. the place was very comfortable for 2 and very clean with all the amenities you would need. Owners left a bottle of wine and instructions on how everything worked. we were out and about during the daytime and enjoyed dinner on the deck using the gas grill; and wonderful sunsets. there are many steps down to the house (54) so not the best for those with mobility issues. would definitely stay there again.

Location was perfect...i was able to reach all trailheads and other activities in any direction within 30 minutes. Property was clean, with very quiet surroundings. There was even a small construction project going on at a neighboring property but i didnt hear a sound from it. Kitchen has updated appliances and jad everything i needed. Dishwasher and AC was a plus too. Tub was a good size and hot water was plentiful and immediate (a plus for me after a day of hiking). I would easily choose to stay there again when i come back to Yosemite.

Highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was very near Glacier Point Rd, which was perfect for exploring the high country. The house was very comfortable, the bed was great. The views from the house are absolutely stunning. Sunsets and stars were magnificent. Kitchen pans were lacking - so bring a pan or two if you plan to cook anything beyond the basics. Also, there were more steps down to the house than we expected. Maybe 6 flights of 8 stairs each. A bit if a task if you have heavy luggage. Overall highly recommended!

I booked this cabin for my girlfriend and I. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay, the property and Jeff. The cabin was absolutely perfect especially for a couple. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the soaking tub was perfect after long hikes, a kitchen stocked with all essentials and gorgeous views from the deck. The location was perfect for getting to and from the park. Jeff was so accommodating and helpful for our stay. Would absolutely recommend booking this for your Yosemite stay! We’ll be back. Thanks again Jeff!

The house had everything we needed for a great stay. LOVED the big tub. Beware of lots of stairs to get to the house but very doable. Pack lightly! Deck was perfect for summer dinner outside. And wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.

Absolutely wonderful property in a great location.
Property has everything you could need to be comfortable during your stay in Yosemite.
20-30 min drive to all of the main sites of interest within the park.
Hosts are fantastic.

This is such a lovely cottage. Lots of space, well laid out. Perfect location too.
Being inside the park was more costly, but worth it. The park was incredibly busy in July 2023 and being inside the gates gave us 30 mins head start on all the other visitors! Also less distance to drive after wearing ourselves out hiking!
The views from the cottage are also excellent, we would certainly stay here again.

This property was truly delightful, idyllic location, beautifully furnished and perfectly located to experience the wonders of Yosemite.
The hosts responded to all queries promptly and assisted with recommendations. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning to the magnificent views, surrounded by nature. Equally, it was a delight to sit on the terrace in the evening to watch the sunsets. The bed was super comfortable, very welcome after a busy day hiking.

Great cabin, in a beautiful spot. So close to Yosemite Valley
5.0 / 5.0
Everything about this rental was great. It is nicely located inside the park - it took about 20 minutes to get into the valley in the morning (i.e. through the tunnel). The layout is great for a couple with plenty of comfortable space for 2 and the cottage is nicely appointed. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. Our only issue was that the whole area lost power one day and it took some time to to restore it.
5.0 / 5.0
We really enjoyed staying here. The location in Yosemite West is very convenient for visiting both Yosemite Valley and southern Yosemite areas like the Mariposa Grove. The cottage was just perfect for the two of us. We had everything we needed and the house was clean. It was easy to communicate with the owners.

Love staying at the property. Please, be up front about all costs, including the expensive insurance fee.

We really enjoyed our stay here, watching deer walk up the hill from the balcony each evening. It's a short drive to the valley. And a fantastic home to return to each evening!

The owner Jeff is great and a very cool guy. This VRBO is clean with an amazing view. The best! Shane
