It was good overall, we were where we wanted to be and it worked out fine.

Bedding was clean and the beds comfortable . Breakfast was as required , I can't take to much first thing in the morning.

Carpets looked a bit dingy. they could do with a clean I think. Having said that, they were clean enough to walk on in bare feet.

Old place, needs a full refurbish

We book a family room with a double bed and a sofa bed, when we arrived to the hotel they give us a triple room, saying is the last one available.

Enjoyed Redwings Lodge and will certainly be looking for them as a preference in future.

We were later arriving than anticipated, but found desk staff friendly, understanding and welcoming. Ivan, (night manager) explained access, fire precautions and breakfast arrangements, repeating when I asked him to(my concentration was shot). Pleased to find all night access available for dog walking (important for us). Room basically equipped but more than adequate, clean and tidy. Shower was over bath so not accessible to my wife, (mobility issues) but ok for 1 night. Breakfast (Bread and cereals, yoghurt, milk, tea/coffee and juices with a good range of choices) was available in the stairwell area from about 6.00 am onwards.

Disappointed to find that next-door restaurant currently closed,(June 2024) but we'd eaten en-route, so no great hardship. Presumably when it reopens, cooked breakfasts will be available. Open access from public reception area to accomodation areas. Not a problem if desk is constantly attended (which it seemed to be) but unusual in my experience.

Very basic and although had comfortable sleep, we wouldn’t stay again.

It was somewhere close to where we needed to be. The beds were comfortable.

It all looked a little run down inside and when we arrived at midnight, the breakfast area (small corner in the hall way) was still full of toast crumbs from the previous morning. Breakfast was very, very basic with just toast or cereal offerings and the fridge where milk and juice was kept needed a good clean. The lodge is also dog friendly, which did not bother us as we are animal lovers but there was dog hairs on the clean bedding in which my daughter didn’t like as autistic and very fussy about hygiene.

Great value of money as Luton is very expensive

The location is trade off between costs in Luton and costs outside. Staff are excellent and can’t be faulted.

Not quite true budget accommodation and not quite Travel Lodge or Premier Inn etc

Convenient ground floor room, clean, tidy and good wifi. Towels - plenty of choice. Good-sized family room. Good hanging space for clothes. Staff helpful and permitted me to use reception fridge.

No power socket near bed to charge phones (used as alarm clocks - I'm deaf) and hearing aids. Room too close to reception, until quite late in the evening, a lot of chatter in reception and doors banging. No fridge in room to keep milk etc chilled, had to use reception main fridge. No proper breakfast room or facilities - breakfast choices were all carb based, not suitable for me. No walk-in shower, step over bath for shower.

Good location, very good and friendly staff. Clean facilities throughout. Noisy traffic.

For the size of the kitchen and breakfast area, one cannot ask for more. Expansion of the kitchen/breakfast lounge is suggested. On site restaurant would be ideal.

Was okay for the night, wouldn't want to stay for longer.

Staff on reception were lovely!

Matress springs were coming through and didn't sleep very well because of this. Slipped getting out of the shower as no matt is provided.

Good accommodation in a noisy area

It is what it is - comfortable accommodation, clean and plenty of Breakfast

I wouldn't stay here again as it's on the very busy A5 with constant traffic

Personel to największy plus tego miejsca. Było czysto i przyjemnie, ale to personel robi największe wrażenie. Zawsze pomocni w każdej sprawie. GORĄCO POLECAM!!!

It was close to our venue for a family party. It did for a night. Won’t return!

Wasn’t welcoming. The mattress was horrible! Could do with a bit of paint. The travel cot was disgusting dirty. Pathetic excuse of breakfast!

Adequate for a one-night stopover for business trips

Adequate stopover for work. Latish check in and check out were okay. The en suite room was okay.

Arrangements for self-service breakfast are basic. A small area is used for laying out the food, which has no seating so it has to be taken back to the room to eat.

Exceptional

Would highly recommend. The staff were really polite and friendly. Always someone on reception and close by if you needed anything. The rooms were a good size, nice and clean with good TV. Beds were super comfortable and we were surprised with the choice of the light breakfast options that were on offer which were included in the price. Plus it's dog friendly so a big plus for us. Thank you for a very comfortable few days stay.

Good

staff were very friendly and was well located for my trip. the room was clean and tidy.

Avoid room 1 at all cost, i was placed in room 1 which is right at the side of the reception, got very little sleep due to the noise of every single person walking past going too and from their rooms

Terrible

Terrible stay doors banging all night kept the whole family awake. In need of new mattresses just Terrible. Mold and dirty in bathroom Terrible smell.

The staff were pleasant and helpful the place was clean and good safe parking.

The room was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning excellent.

There was no hot water for a shower or wash. It was a windy night and the windows whistled all night because they are a poor fit.
