The Chalet Marmotte, classified 4 stars by the “Furnished Holiday Lettings” is arranged as follows:

- Ground floor: Entrance, bedroom #1 (double bed) sharing bathroom #1 with bedroom #2 (windowless, 2 single beds), laundry (washing machine + tumbler), ski room
- First floor: Dining & living room with pellet stove, toilets, kitchen fully equipped, bedroom #3 (double bed) + en-suite bathroom
- Second floor: Mezzanine (2 single beds), bedroom #4 (double bed), bedroom #5 (double bed + bunk beds), large bathroom #3
- Terrace >60m2, lounge area with breathtaking view on the "Criou" and therapeutic hot tube 6 seats (hydro & air jets, waterfall...)

For your entertainment, we have arranged in the Chalet a large selection of DVDs & BlueRays to watch on a large flat screen, books, iPod station, CDs, games together with a PlayStation 3, Netfix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Canal+ and Wifi in the entire Chalet. For dinners, you will find Raclette & Fondue equipments. Half-board on demand.

To go skiing, the Chalet is +/- equidistant from the 3 lifts giving access to the Grand Massif (265 km):

- Grand Massif Express (Samoëns - 2.5 km)

Our group of family and friends had a wonderful weekend in the mountains. This house was perfect for our group, with comfy beds and a nice, big gathering area. The hot tub was a hit with the kids. Our hosts were so accommodating and kind. We’d love to come back someday.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir hatten wirklich das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Der Service vor Ort ist sehr gut. Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus. Das Einzige, was wir bei dieser Kategorie von Haus vermisst haben, ist ein Skischuhtrockner. Wir würden wieder kommen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Nous sommes venus passer un week-end en famille dans ce très beau chalet et avons tous beaucoup apprécié l’endroit, la décoration, les (très) nombreux équipements. Nous habitons la région et apprécions particulièrement cette vallée pour les nombreuses balades qu’elle propose et l’authenticité de ses hameaux. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Chalet très agréable, au grand calme, très beau et très bien conçu dans ses moindres détails. Nous étions 8 adultes et 5 enfants (et même 15 lors de certains repas) sans problème. La concergierie est parfaite.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans ce beau chalet pendant les vacances scolaires février 2021. Le séjour a été agréable, grâce au confort des prestations. De très belles attentions de la part des propriétaires tout au long du séjour. L’accès à Samoens 1600 est facile, ce qui fut bien pratique en l’absence des remontées mécaniques!

Le chalet était vraiment très bien, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour. En revanche, l’accueil a été quelque peu mouvementé. Nous n’avons pas été bien reçu de la part d’une personne de la conciergerie, qui était pressante, insistant pour avoir un règlement sur le champ alors que tout le groupe n’était pas arrivé et que ce n’était pas convenu ainsi avec la propriétaire. Par contre les échanges avec la propriétaire et d’autres membres de la conciergerie étaient excellents! Nous gardons quand même un magnifique souvenir de notre séjour à samoens au chalet marmotte !!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce chalet très bien équipé et proposant tout le confort nécessaire pour passer des vacances en famille ou entre amis. Sa proximité avec le village de Samoëns est un vrai plus, on peut s'y rendre en voiture en moins de 5 minutes et une agréable promenade permet d'y accéder à pied en une trentaine de minutes. La communication avec les propriétaires a été excellente et le service de conciergerie est aux petits soins. Mention spéciale pour le jaccuzzi en plein air qui permet de se relaxer après une journée de ski ou de balade !

Chalet très agréable, jolie vue , très proche de samoens. Les vélos mis à disposition par le propriétaire nous offrent la possibilité de rejoindre le village ou les plans d'eau en vélo. Nous avons été bien accueillis et conseillés sur les sorties possibles. On y reviendra avec plaisir.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce magnifique chalet, au calme, parfaitement équipé (nombreuse vaisselle, jeux pour petits et grands, mobilier suffisant et confortable, luges, lits et chaises bébé). Nous n'avons manqué de rien (sauf de soleil) ! En plus le linge de maison fourni (en nombre également) est un vrai plus quand on a déjà de nombreuses valises... La grande pièce à vivre est très agréable et parfaitement adaptée aux grandes familles. Le jaccuzi est top, on a pu en profiter en soirée malgré le froid dehors. La conciergerie a été au top également, personnel très agréable et à l'écoute. Les propriétaires sont au petits soins (cadeaux de bienvenue) et ne lésinent pas pour le bien être des locataires et ca se ressent. Merci à vous ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Family and friends totalling 11. The chalet was beautiful, very clean and perfectly laid out. No British TV but we relaxed and watched a few films via our laptop/amazon prime/netflix. The hot tub was a bonus and just perfect to chill at the end of the day. The twin bed on the upper landing worked well for our teen and felt more discrete that I expected. The twin downstairs didn't have a window but would be fine for smaller children. Quick drive to Samoans although the lift queue in the morning for HT was the longest I've ever experienced, sometime an hour before getting up to 1600, however parking a little later seemed fine for family members who had later lessons and there are other options such as Vercland and Morillion. Skiing over to Morillion and Les Corroz were I think our favourite, made Flaine a couple of times and took the 14k blue slope back to Sixt (being HT had its tricky/icy bits). Delightful restaurant at the bottom of Vercland (this red can be a little tricky for those who prefer a blue) and closest to the chalet if you're not storing skis back at the shop. We used Extreme Glisses ski hire in Samoans which was great for overnight storage. Perfect stay in a beautifully laid out and furnished chalet, we would love to return again sometime soon x

Chalet Marmotte was perfect for our party of 6 adults, 3 big kids and two younger children. It was hard to find accommodation where our whole party could sit together in the living room but at Chalet Marmotte we fit comfortably. Chalet Marmotte is modern and tastefully decorated with lovely Savoyard touches. Each of the 3 floors has its own bathroom and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved using the hot tub after a day of skiing. Our only complaint would maybe be that we could have used a few extra hot tub towels as we only had 6. Jean Pierre from Concierge de Grand Massif was extremely friendly and helpful as was Remi from Chalet shop ski rental (both recommended by the Chalet Marmotte owners. We can highly recommend both JP and Remi too). Anne-Marie and Olivier the chalet owners were also very prompt in replying to all our queries and with sending us information. We had a wonderful stay and can definitely recommend renting Chalet Marmotte.

Staying here allows you to sample the millionaire’s lifestyle! Every detail has been thought about allowing you to relax in wonderful surroundings. Our group of 8 lived liked kings for our week stay enjoying so much space. The ideal location, only 3 minute drive to either Morillon or Samoans, allows quick access to ski lifts and also for shopping, markets and ice-skating. Skiing is great with speedy access to a variety of slopes within the Grand Masif. Apres ski can be sort in the local villages or, as we preferred, at the chalet using the lovely hot tub, play station and lounge area (very nice pellet stove keeping us warm). Our holiday was truly fantastic thanks in the main to this lovely chalet and I very much hope that we will be back very very soon. A huge thanks to Anne-Marie and to Laurieanne (local concierge) for such a memorable experience.

We chose to book this property based on price, description and location. I assume this is the criteria that most people base their bookings on. In the past we have been disappointed one way or another. This was not the case with Chalet Marmotte. The booking process was very straight forward and there was also a choice to pay in your preferred currency. The damage deposit was refunded promptly and without question (even though we had a couple of minor "accidents" with some lively wine glasses. The arrival time was agreed with the Concierge and upon arrival we were welcomed and given a very comprehensive introduction to the chalet and it's equipment. The chalet was well presented and well maintained. We found that everything described in the advert was present and in good working order. Simple things like crockery and cuttlery were plentiful and it is detail like this that makes the full package for us. There was also a good bottle of champagne presented to us on arrival and a hamper of local produce delivered to us during the week, both great touches. The chalet itself is well laid out and the living space creates a great social atmosphere whether you are cooking in the kitchen or relaxing in front of the burner. In the ten years we have been snowboarding, we have to say that this was the best chalet we have stayed in.

Great chalet, beautiful and well equipped (from the kitchen accessories through the entertainment equipment, children's toys and more...) The space is well designed for big families and perfect for family vacation. Location is great with lots of activities near by and lovely view. The owner is very nice and always available for any issue. Highly recommended!!
