We had beautiful three days for our anniversary getaway!

Fantastic location, beautiful place , very quiet and calm, very nice spa facility. They also provided us with a bottle of champagne and some sweets for our anniversary. :)

The beds and mostly the pillows were uncomfortable. The restaurant was providing creative recipes but not matching with everybody'd taste.

Exceptional accommodations, welcoming service plus exquistite dining and the added touch of a spa!

Exceptional service and amenities in a convenient location. Staff exceeded our expectations for service. Exquisite dining experience and spa made it an ideal accommodation.

Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back in 2024!

Very enjoyable stay.

Spa was excellent and staff lovely and very accommodating - especially Suzanne on the front desk. Breakfast good especially for a gluten/lactose free diet.

Spa swimming pool was much smaller than pictures led us to believe. Food excellent but unfortunately dinner was too expensive for us to eat there every night.

Lovely place to stay and relax at.

Amazing breakfast, although they could have refilled some of the food that has run out. Very relaxing environment, excellent spa area. Beautiful views from the windows and you get a discount for the gondola.

If I really want to find something we were not completely happy with, the room decor felt a bit artificial.

Very good

The receipt was very welcome as I knew the person from last year in another hotel Kandersteg. We talked quite a bit and he kindly explained the hotel and its background. He even arranged a table for me although the restaurant normally requires prior reservations.

Well placed Hotel, with beautiful views, will be back to enjoy some more.

My Husband and I went for a Hike+Bike trip and we were overwhelmed with the activities we could persue. We went for 3 days, and enjoyed the views, and activities.

There were a lot of possibilties to buy local dairy products, but we had no fridge in the room. However, it is not something we did not like, just something missing.

Short and sweet stay in a family hotel

The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony overlooking a big lawn. Breakfast was good with various kinds of bread and cold cuts. The Swiss herbal tea selection is lovely. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly, cheerful and humourous. The food in the restaurant was very delicious and beautifully-presented. Its signature "20 herbs soup" is one of the best I have ever tried.

The restaurant seemed to be slightly under-staffed the evening we dined there. We saw unhappy faces at another table and behind the bar counter when we almost finished our dinner. I hope this is not the usual case coz the food was really nice and the restaurant was beautiful.

Excellent and comfortable family stay.

Excellent rooms, very comfortable for family and nice location in Kandersteg, walking distance from Train station. Beautiful view of the alps from the balcony. Restaurant food was delicious, presented beautifully and tasted like made with fresh ingredients.

Aesthetically pleasing hotel!

The lobby was very spacious with a pool table and study room. We didn’t use the spa but that’s a cool free feature! Good buffet breakfast and a peaceful location (a little further from the main traffic). They gave us discounts to use on cable cars and we could use the city buses for free!

Good location with nice spa

Good location close to the center and good to start hikes. Spa is new and nicely built. We also liked the terrace to slow down. The breakfast is very nice as well. Delicious croissants.

Our room was located above the restaurant terrace and when we opened the window the whole room smelled from cigarette smoke! Decoration of the swimming pool is very basic compared to the newly built spa. It feels like two different worlds.

Great little town, amazing scenery and lovely amenities

Unfortunately the car charger did not work and no alternatives in town. The rooms are very dated but very clean and nothing to complain!

Comfort and warm friendliness in an incredibly beautiful area!

I liked the location in the village and all the people working in the hotel. You could tell that they cared about doing an excellent job, whether at the front desk or cleaning the rooms.

A wonderful hotel for a small family with all the amenities you could need provided by a wonderful staff.

awesome views, great location, extremely clean, and excellent food

hot water in the showers was sometimes sporadic, parking spaces sometimes fill up, and it would have been nice to have a stack of towels available poolside

Lovely hotel, amazing scenic views, close to multiple touristic attractions, very friendly staff. Chef Bogdan does a great job with the in-house restaurant, amazing culinary experience!

horrible mattresses, super short bed (180 cm at max), so quite a challenge for tall people

Superb

The hotel is very nice. We booked a junior suite and it was very comfortable. Loved the amenities like swimming pool and Sauna.

We visited in summer and it was too hot during night. The rooms are missing an air conditioner or fan.
