Barrio con muchos restaurantes y cerca de transporte publico. A 15min del centro.
A la 5 planta solo se accedía por un tramo de escalera. Una de las habitaciones que nos dieron tenía pinta de no haber sido limpiada. Telarañas y lavabo atascado. Las toallas y sabanas tenían agujeros del uso. Avisamos al llegar de que el gel de baño estaba gastado y de que el lavabo estaba tapado, y nos dijeron que lo iban a arreglar. Llegamos después de más de 12 horas y no habían hecho absolutamente nada. Me volví a quejar y entonces la chica nos cambió de habitación. Igualmente, limpieza nada exhaustiva.

Die Lage ist gut und zentral.
Es geht aus der Beschreibung nicht hervor, daß es für Schulklassen ect. genutzt wird. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht. Es steht die Doppelzimmer befinden sich in den oberen Etagen. Wir bekamen eines in der 2. Etage. ZI.214 am hinteren Gang. Auf der Etage waren ca. 50 Kinder untergebracht aller 10 sek kmallten Türen, Geschrei. Erst mehrmalige Beschwerden an der Rezeption, den Aufsichtspersonen brachte 23 Uhr Ruhe. Nie wieder würde ich dieses Hotel buchen. Außerdem war die Deckenwand über dem Bett nass.

На момент приезда неприятно поразило: 1. Обещанная парковка была вся занята, найти другую в центре Кельна было то еще приключение, получали стресс каждый вечер. 2. На момен заселения с соседних наомерах шел ремонт со сверлением перфоратором, доллблением стен и вот это вот все. Грязно, шумно, рабочие постоянно матреятся и курят. 3. Было очень людно, попасть к ресепшены практически нереально.

Спасибо персоналу, особенно тому человеку который работал в ночной смене. Не возможно было спать ночью из за соседа который храпел и разговаривал по телефону в ночное время. Пришлось обратиться в персонал. Я благодарен просто им, за содействие и помощь в час ночи. Они быстро нашли свободную койку в другой комнате и поселили.

Das Hotel liegt zentral, man kann die Innenstadt und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten super zu Fuß erreichen. Außerdem fährt die S-Bahn nicht weit vom Hotel.
Das Personal ist freundlich und angenehm jung und lässig, wir konnten früher in unser Zimmer und konnten auch den Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage, den man dazubuchen kann etwas länger nutzen- ohne Aufpreis.
Die Zimmer sind von der Größe in Ordnung, es gibt ein großes Fenster, was sich kippen lässt und viel Licht ins Zimmer lässt. Die Matratzen scheinen recht neu zu sein, Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind sauber.
Das Frühstück ist für den Preis gut, Highlight war die Pancakemaschine.
Es gibt einen kleinen Freisitz im Innenhof und in der Lounge gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten, da lässt sich der Kaffee sehr gut genießen.
Die Sauberkeit lässt sich an der ein oder anderen Stelle verbessern, z.B. in der Dusche (Duschwanne und Abtrennung) oder unterm Bett. Über kleinere Mängel konnten wir aber gut hinwegsehen.
Leider ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig, sodass man die andern Gäste auf den Fluren sehr laut und zum Teil auch Gespräche und Wecker aus den Nebenzimmern hören kann. Dadurch ist die Nacht nicht ganz so erholsam.

Alleen locatie was goed. Goed te lopen tot aan het (winkel) centrum.
Hygiëne was zwaar onvoldoende, er wordt niet standaard schoongemaakt tenzij je er zelf om vraagt, matrassen erg hard, je moet zelf de bedden opmaken, lamp in toilet kapot, je kon niet normaal op het toilet zitten ivm afstand tot muur (totaal geen knie ruimte). Personeel niet al te vriendelijk.

I didn’t have breakfast
Being in the same room with Strang men, it will be much better if all men or all women live in separate rooms , not to bunk men and women in the same room, the bathroom and the toilet is so tiny to even change your clothes when ever you want to change , and not every woman wants to change in front of strange men when the toilet is occupied and it’s only one toilet and a bath room for six men and women in one room . Every other thing is perfect , the staffs are excellent 👌 very friendly and respectful , thanks to all of them , I wish to stay anytime, just politely asking if it’s possible to adjust the men and women staying in one room for a bit dignity.

Die Wartezeit in der Schlange. Das dass Zimmer so klein war, aber immerhin habe ich's ja gebucht. Das ich von Ihrer Reinigungskraft "Bruder" genannt wurde als aller erste Begrüßung. Die Matratzen rutschen leicht vom Bettgestell runter, und die Dusche war ab und zu sehr lauwarm/kühl.

Die Lage war super
Verhalten der Mitarbeiter unterirdisch!! Ich wurde sofort geduzt, zum Frühstück wurde mir nur gesagt, dass dieses im Keller stattfindet, kein „Hallo“ oder „schönen Aufenthalt“, das Zimmer plus Frühstück für 125€ die Nacht ist jenseits von gut und böse! Die Preise sind Hotel und keine Hostel Preise, die Lautstärke in diesem „Hotel“ ist genauso unzumutbar! Fensterscheiben so dreckig, dass man nicht vernünftig durchschauen kann, Haare in der Dusche und auf dem Toilettendeckel, Frühstück nicht genießbar, Kaffee bzw Cappuccino schmeckte nach Wasser mehr auch nicht.
Ob Frühstück dazu gebucht wurde, wurde keineswegs kontrolliert man musste lediglich einen Chip in einen Kasten werfen und kein Mitarbeiter war in Sicht. Ich hätte auch einfach durchgehen können und sagen können, dass ich einen Chip eingeworfen hätte.
Beim Check out wurden keine Anstalten gemacht zu fragen wie der Aufenthalt war. Warum auch? Geld hatten sie ja schon.
Also bei aller Liebe! Einmal und nie wieder!

Hostel liegt super, ruhig in einer Seitenstraße und doch Zentral.
Ich war bei einem Konzert in der Lanxess Arena, diese mit der Tram direkt erreichbar ohne Umzusteigen.
Mit der 1 zB vom Rudolfplatz 5 Stationen
Leider wurde beim Check in nicht darauf geachtet, das ich als Frau alleine unterwegs war. Wurde nur zu Männern ein quartiert. Bad konnte ich daher nicht benutzen, Öffentliche Toilette war sauberer.
Die Dame beim Check out, hat sich für ihrer Kollegen entschuldig, das er nicht darauf geachtete hat. Was sonst immer getan wird.
Ein Bett im Frauen Zimmer zu reservieren war bei Buchung nicht möglich.

Good location. The black guy at the reception was good. Nothing more. Really. I regretted to check-in there.
My wallet was stolen in this hostel by someone with whom we were roommates, yet the receptionist didn't seem to care! That man snatched all of my money when he stole my wallet when I was new in Cologne. "Stay back from the reception!" a blonde girl told me as I entered the reception. It disappointed me and was really impolite. She was incredibly nasty and disdainful to me, and I was shoked when someone stole my wallet. Never in my life would I chose this hostel. By the way, the best person at the reception was the black guy!

The hostel's location is good, about 20 minutes' walk from Heumarkt or the cathedral / Hauptbahnhof (Köln has an expansive Old Town split into north and south, so nothing is central) and check-in was simple - I was speaking in German until asked if I would prefer English, at which point I discovered that all the staff here speak English well. The room was spotlessly clean and I was able to secure a bed rather than a bunk (I was in a four bed dorm with two beds and one bunk, I had one companion for two nights, one for my third night and the dorm to myself on the final night). The dorm had its own private bathroom (separate toilet and shower, with a sink in each cubicle), so there were no worries about forgetting my keycard when needing the loo. The bed was comfortable, despite the plastic-coated mattress. The hostel also had vending machines, a bar (prices seemed reasonable, although I didn't use it) and food available. Buffet breakfast was an additional €9.30 and great value, with a good range of options (pancakes, choice of six cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, meats, salads, breads, coffee, tea, juices, spreads).
There is no aircon, so the window needed to be open at night and the street outside is noisy (although my stay was over the weekend, plus there was a festival - Aldstadtfest - in the city). The wi-fi here is unsecured, so I chose not to use it. My key card didn't give access to the communal kitchen (which also had a massive bank of washing machines), so I don't know if there would have been an additional charge to use this - I wasn't planning to cook, so I didn't enquire.
On my first two nights, my roommate was a bathroom hogger who would spend 20-30 minutes' at a time in the toilet, which is an issue when there is only loo. On my third night, my roommate was on his laptop (at the table, not in his bedspace) with sounds (pings when receiving messages etc.) until I asked him to let me sleep at 1am. Of course, the establishment can't be blamed for either of these things (which never seem to happen in larger dorms!).

The room was too small. We had the family room. No parking available while we specified we needed parking. Breakfast is really bad. Don’t expect anything.

I did not like that we need to do our childrerns beds.
We only got there, tired and wanted to take a shower and get a good sleep, but insted we had to do house keepping's job, and put on the bed linen on the matress, blanket and pillow.

It was nice and clean, good location and friendly staff. Room was big, bed was great and there was plenty of storage
Rooms were HOT (I was travelling in july but no aircon etc.), beds were a bit uncomfortable for my liking (too hard, if you like hard then no prob), shower was very small and it didn’t drain very fast. Great that shower and toilet were separate. Nothing major, good for short stay.
