Good and chill place

Spacious room with comfortable beds. The room was with a bathroom. Tasty food available at the lodge. There are animals you can play with and take care of (puppies and kittens). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great sunsets.

It was far from the city - you have to ride everywhere. The beach is just there but it is not for swimming - just concrete steps into water.

Great stay, would recommend.

The location was a short walk from the beach and the surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. The best thing about the accommodation was the staff- they were super friendly and made everyone feel very welcome. The shared lounge was a very social area.

The bugs, but perhaps that can't be helped! The bathroom always felt a bit damp.

Super hostel

Le personelle au top. Toujours à disposition, et toujours très souriant et prêt à vous aidez. L espace commun est très agréable, on se sent vite à la maison. Le dortoir est super beau et agréable. Cuisine à disposition. Scooter en locations. Service laundry si besoin. Et immigration a 10 minutes a pied si besoin de prolongé le visa (3jrs) Bref je recommande cet endroit à tout point de vue.

Tolles Personal aber in die Jahre gekommenes Zimmer

Das Personal war ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, der Garten war auch sehr gemütlich und schön dekoriert. Die ruhige Lage war auch sehr ansprechend.

Es war überhaupt nicht das was wir erwartet haben, die Bilder auf Booking.com entsprachen überhaupt nicht dem tatsächlichen Aussehen, insbesondere das Bad: es handelte sich um eine Nasszelle, die vermutlich im letzten Jahrtausend renoviert wurde, die Fliesen waren verfärbt und es führten Löcher direkt ins freie, die es Kakerlaken ungehindert ermöglichten ins Bad zu gelangen, zudem war der Boden dauerhaft nass. Die Wände waren teilweise schimmelig und es fehlten grundlegende Einrichtungsgegenstände, wie mistkübel und nachtkästchenlampe. Wenn man sich darauf einstellt, ist die Unterkunft schon okay, aber so waren wir überhaupt nicht darauf vorbereitet und waren erleichtert, dass wir nur zwei Nächte hier verbracht haben.

There was nothing what I liked. I stayed there like a 30min and then I booked another accomodation.

It wasn't really a room. Just a space with a matrace and there was missing curtain. No privacy, very hot and humid, the bathroom was horrible and the space called restaurant was not my taste.

Potential accomodation with poor cleanliness

The design is unique, they can arrange dolpgin trip for you. You'll be pick up at early morning and the boat for the trip was great

Disappointing

Friendly and nice staff.

The room was full of mould and smelly. Really not nice be there. Checked out after 30 minutes check in (time to find new accomodation) Manager accept our complaint and give us full refund.

recommended and i would come back

love the place it was so nice during the day so much greenery and the architecture of the whole theme of the place is really put together. no need for AC as it gets chilly at night, really do need the mosquito net tho. the hot shower was nice, and the floor of the shower could have been just cemented instead of spiky rocks haha but it's okay I just need to wear my flip flop in the shower. The food is nice, after hours is great, and they got some beers too. overall good and so cheap would come back again. oh and, walking distance to a beach with jogging track too!

the mosquitos, but they do provide mosquito nets so as long as you tidy it up around your bed and turn on the fan, you'll be good for the night

Beautiful place, but weird people when I was there

The woman who checked me in was very nice. She also offered me some grilled fish which they made that night for a little party - free of charge. It was very good. The ‚single room‘ (‚Hobbit‘) is cute and quite cozy. The whole place is actually very beautiful, many corners to sit and hang out, a lot of decoration and old stuff that looks nice and makes the place cozy. You can refill water in the common area. Very cheap for the ‚hobbit‘.

After I arrived I actually first really liked it, but in the night it became weird and I didn’t feel comfortable, which I why I checked out the next day. In the night there were almost only older local men and some older male guests. They had been drinking a lot already, which doesn’t bother me usually, but I could not enjoy the atmosphere. I didn’t quite know if they were just drunk or a bit crazy or both, but it was not cool. Also later an older local man started talking to me in a creepy way. All of this made me very uncomfortable given the fact that my ‚room‘ could not be locked or anything, it only has a bamboo curtain. Then there were also 4 little girls, which were actually quite cute, but for me personally a bit too cheeky and intrusive, they wanted to go to my room when I was not there and asked to play with my phone all the time. I like kids and I am very much used to drunk and crazy people from other hostels I stayed long time, but this was a bit too much of all this. The kids should be taught a little more respect for guests and their personal belongings if they hang out in the place a lot. And someone from the hostel staff has to have a look over the situation and make sure all guests can enjoy and feel comfortable. If you have people drinking a lot, someone has to ‚manage‘ the situation and intervene it it gets too much. Note: I heard the one weird guest was kicked out a few days later. Regarding the facilities: the ‚single room‘ (‚hobbit‘) is NOT a private room. It has a bamboo curtain to the front, but a big window to the room next to you (why???). Suggestion: Please put at least a curtain there for a little privacy. Also there’s a big gap through which you can look and reach into the room from the bathroom. The toilets were not working properly which I told the staff several times. They fixed it then, but after one use they would again not work. For breakfast I got the smallest pancake I’ve ever seen.

the bed was not so great and the toilets didn’t work properly but the lounge was beautiful and a lot of fun and there were plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.

the hotel is located in a very quiet street. 100m from the sea. I could do some really nice snrorkling and harpon fishing with a guy from the hotel. Cosy place to relax during the day. What a nice moment here

The hall is really nice and peaceful. Staff is very friendly! Good value for money! Breakfast small but still good.

It's located close to the ocean, nice to swim and hang out their. It's a nice atmosphere on the common area, effort has been made to make it cozy

No choices for breakfast (only pancake). AC plow directly on the bed (I don't like that, maybe only me). OK shower, was very hard to reach a good temperature and thir wasn't so much flow.

Good located, in the middle between Lovina and Singaraja. You can rent a scooter there and staff is always around to help.
