We had a really great time shame that it was short. Will be back.

Genuinely Italian place. We had a room with a terrace. Restaurant is a world class. Room is not modern by any means but we liked that way.

A bit pricey but worth as it is truly genuine Italian place.

Trzydniowy pobyt głównie poza hotelem.

Fajne śniadania choć szkoda że brak warzyw, śniadania od godziny 8 do 10, dobra, cicha lokalizacja, blisko do kamienistej plaży. W tej małej miejscowości trzy restauracje i bar. Fajnie że jest w pokojach kuchnia,piekarnik, taras. Na krótki pobyt okey.

Niestety w hotelu nie ma możliwości wynajęcia rowera, co mija się z informacja zawarta na bookingu. Można wynająć rower ale z wypożyczalni za 20 euro. Niestety ale wszechobecny brud, pająki, robaki w pokojach. Do centrum Malcesine ponad godzina pieszo, jeździ ewentualnie bus turystyczny za 1,5 euro, lub lokalne autobusy. Dojazd możliwy ale trzeba jeździć autobusami. Jeżeli ktoś tak jak my większość czasu zwiedza to okey ale nie polecała bym tego obiektu na spędzanie tu czasu, dużo grzyba i pleśni zwłaszcza w łazience.

Steile und unbeleuchtete Treppen zum „Appartement „, Leuchten funktionieren zum Teil nicht Wohnzimmer nur mit Couch, Tisch und zwei Stühlen ausgestattet, über der Couch war die Steuerung für warmwasser und Heizung angebracht, aus der Lüftung über der Couch tropft Wasser Dusche undicht und verrottet

sympa pour l'environnement et l'accueil, médiocre pour la chambre

environnement parfait, magnifique, le petit parc de l'hôtel était très bien éclairé, l'accueil superbe, décoré pour pâques, tout dans les détails, même des faux cadeaux pour décorer dans l'escalier qui mène aux chambres. Très bon petit déjeuner. l'environnement est superbe, pas loin du lac et du petit port trop joli au coucher du soleil ! à ne pas manquer pour les lumières...

la chambre est trop basique par rapport au rez de chaussée de l'hôtel... Très dommage. pas de déco, ça fait plastique. Les lits n'était faits, couettes simplement pliées au pied du lit. Pas d'eau chaude au début, ok, dû à une coupure dans la journée, affichée dans les rues. Mais même le lendemain, impossible d'avoir de l'eau chaude sans attendre 10mn au minimum en faisant couler l'eau !

Love at first sight!

Place is beautifull, garden and whole scenery with small lake is something special! We really enjoyed our stay there. Our recommendation is to have a dinner in in house restaurant, food is wow!!! and hosts were on the top level. ☝️😎 We give 10/10 🫡 How would Arnie said: I'll be back!

Rooms can be a little bit modernized, furniture is weared but we didnt mind it at all. One look through the window and who cares about it. 🤣

it is located right next to a different turn that if you don’t get it right, you will end up circling for a while I would recommend marketing, the place better may be more signs on the roads to be more specific

Do yourselves a favour and book somewhere else

I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews on Booking and here, and book somewhere else instead of that place.

Terrible service, dirty rooms with spiders and spider webs and if you complain they will even stop talking to you and assist you in any way. Also, regarding parking spaces, there are a few but customers of the restaurant have priority! Finally, the WiFi only works in the reception area and not in the rooms. Do yourselves a favour and book some place else.

The location was wonderful! Proximity of the Garda Lake for this price is very satisfying :) Also, I liked that you cleaned our room everyday.ĺ

The same food everyday (breakfast) - but I understand that for this price I shouldn't expect more. Maybe just for a little bit higher price you could incorporate more variety in your breakfasts :)

Classic Lake Hotel, great location, nice staff, little tired.

Given our own apartment with good facilities including small kitchen. As we found in all accommodations on the trip, loo seat loose/faulty. Good breakfast, nice staff, fab location for the Lake

Hot water wasn't working when we arrived so had to request assistance. Have visited Cassone for many years but never stayed at the hotel before. Swinging into the hotel is a challenge if coming from the south.

Great authentic hotel

Everything, what a find. It's off the main road, somewhere to park and only 100mtrs from the shore at Lake Garda. A real grand hotel in it's day and full of charm. The staff were efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Fabulous restaurant and amazing food. Definitely would love to return some day

A decent hotel in a convenient location, fair value for money.

The location is nice, especially if you are travelling by car. It's only a short drive to Malcesine - a very picturesque village. The hotel is situated right at the side of the trunk road, so you will not have to drive through narrow and steep streets) It's also just 5 minutes walking to the lake shore, restaurants and the beach. There is also a bus stop across the street, so you can also use public transport to get to other villages. We also enjoyed the big balcony overlooking the lake! The restaurant has got a cozy atmosphere and most of the dishes were delicious.

Because we were travelling with dogs and during a very hot period (up to 38 degrees), we wanted a room with a proper air-conditioning, which was a bit of a disappointment, as it wasn't a very powerful one. The temperature in the room was acceptible, but it was a bit stuffy with the balcony door closed. There is also no switch in the room, so you will have to ask sb at the reception to turn it on for you, but they always did, so that was covered)

home-like decorations in common areas, small hotel, kind personnel, good breakfast, capucchino, nice view, bicycles to borrow, cleaning-up

very hard beds, airconditioning not making room properly cooled, another breakfast servant was not actively taking care of adding food that was all eaten, cycles need service & repair

Really disappointing. Should have been better.

Good location

The hotel hosted a wedding downstairs when the noise didn’t stop till 0130am. I felt staff neglected the other guests and probably shouldn’t have accepted bookings beyond the wedding group. Air conditioning was almost non existent and half of the power plugs didn’t work in our room. I felt like we were an inconvenience to the hote owners. It’s a bit poor feeling like you can’t come back to your room after midnight on a Monday because there is a huge party outside.

Excellent value for money in a beautiful setting.

The staff at Hotel Cassone are second to none. Attentive, efficient and helpful, both in the restaurant and the hotel. Tiffany spent much time with us when we had a small incident with our car, ensureing that a locksmith attended in half an hour and locating a mechanic for us who got us on the road immediately, even though he had a garage full of work on a Saturday morning. The restaurant food is excellent, the location is unbeatable. The airconditioning worked (had to be switched on at reception by request) and was quiet enough for us to get a good nights sleep. The room and hotel facilities were pretty basic but as described and as expected and to be honest we could not expect more for the fantastic price we paid for a room on Lake Garda. A swim in the lake before breakfast is a must. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty to choose from and endless coffee if required. If you are only staying for one night be sure to book a table at the restaurant prior to arrival as it is very popular. The private car park is an added bonus but arrive before 6pm if you want a spot as after that it fills up with restaurant visitors. For a value for money, beautifully located stay we cannot recommend this enough.

We hit an unexpectedly good room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the mountains. Perfect Location, 7 min drive by car to Monte Baldo. Very kindly staff. Delicious breakfast.

Better view than expected

The room and Hotel were very clean. Perfect location in front of a beautiful small “lake” next to the most important towns and even a good view of the Garda Lake. The staff was always friendly.

The rooms are basic, which didn’t bother us since we were never in the rooms and the WiFi was not working good / slowly.

Exceptional

The restaurant in the hotel is the best in the area. Nice beach just in 2 minutes. The best tennis courts just in 5 minutes. Good place to stay around Malcesine.

Disappointed

There was no staff to be found at all during the morning. Waited for staff to be around to check-in in the evening also. There was no hot water for neither of us to shower in the night and no hot water in the morning either. So we were unable to wash. Not what you’d expect in a hotel which wasn’t cheap for the night. Sent them a message also, and not even a reply to apologies. They didn’t have breakfast on site either.
