Step back in time in this charming cottage by the beach. Built in the 1920's, this plantation style home will give you a true Hanalei experience. Just steps to the beach and a short stroll or bike ride to many restaurants and shopping. This is a dream location in the heart of Hanalei. You will be in walking distance to world class surf breaks in the winter or the gentle calm seas in the summer, great for swimming and paddle boarding.

I have been to Kauai 20+ times and have always stayed on the north shore, out in Wainiha and most recently in Kalihiwai. After a several year break due to Covid, I decided to try something new and stay right in Hanalei. This cottage is a dream come true! In a beautiful neighborhood, steps to the beach, walk or bike to Hanalei Town, centrally located for all north shore activities! The cottage itself is identical to the photos and cute as can be. Super clean, comfortable, all the amenities one could ask for surrounded by a lovely yard. Be careful you might want to just hang out on the porch and never leave! This cottage is a gem do not hesitate! I will be back.

A lovely ohana nestled peacefully along the North Shore of Kauai. The home is a minute walk to the beach and a pleasant 10 min to shops & restaurants.
Postcards for a romantic dinner, Dolphin Restaurant (take out door in back) for the best poke, Hanalei Bread Co.for coffee/breakfast, Strings music shop for spontaneous local music, ++ much,.much, more.
Host is on point, quick to communicate, & thoughtful in all details.

Our family of 4 (adults and 2 older kids) absolutely loved this Hanalei beach house. Was steps to the beach and walkable to shops and restaurants. Great outdoor shower and bikes, beach chairs, etc. Very comfortable beds. Loved the decor. Highly recommend.

We loved this house, just steps to the beach, surrounded by all the beauty that is Hanalei. It’s on the main road, but very quiet and the yard was great to let the kids run around. It’s a small space, but has just what you need so kick back and enjoy island life. We didn’t need much, but Daniel was quick to respond to answer a few questions we had (and thanks for bringing over that vacuum!)

Family had a wonderful stay at this property, which is a stone’s throw from a quiet and beautiful beach, as well as a short walk into downtown Hanalei for shopping and dining. It felt private even though it’s located on a residential street. The property is beautiful with flowering bushes, citrus trees and bromeliads; and the interior is comfortable and well appointed for a relaxing Kauai stay.

Our family of four enjoyed five glorious nights at this beautiful beach home steps off Hanalei beach. Amazingly convenient for popping into town, walking to beach, and for the amazing outdoor activities so close by.
We’ve stayed at many home rentals with our family and this is one we’ll likely return to.
Clean, had snorkels, fins, boogie boards, beach umbrellas and beach chairs.
Amazing and worth the price for our family for convenience over other places up the hills.

We loved this little house. Location is unbeatable; walking distance to Hanalei and steps from the beach. House was stocked with everything we needed and property manager was very responsive. We especially loved the beach supplies! Note that the bedroom without AC does get hot, but we were able to manage by keeping cooler air circulating from other rooms. Thanks for a fabulous stay and we hope to be back soon.

We arrived to our quaint cottage just a block from the Pine Trees beach in Hanalei and magnificent backyard view of the emerald green mountains. The home was well equiped with everything we needed for a 1 week stay with two littles under two. There is an outdoor shower, helpful to rinse off the sand from a fun day at the various beaches nearby. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and baby tents were available in the shed, which saved us from having to make a trip to the beach rentals shop. We made several meals at the home as we had the cooking tools to do so. Our host was responsive to any questions that arose and made our stay comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at this perfectly located cottage. Walk to town and the Beach is across the street. The cottage is well appointed and the neighborhood is quiet.
We loved the outdoor shower, hanging out on the front porch with our coffee in the morning and evening glass of wine. Beds are very comfortable. Cottage comes with beach chairs, umbrellas, surf and boogie boards. We can't wait to come back.

We loved staying at this house. The beach is maybe 75 yards around the corner and there are multiple good restaurants, grocery stores etc. that are also walkable. We enjoyed staying on the north shore and would choose this again!

This was perfect for our small family of two adults and one child. Clean, cute home. Location was unbeatable. Well stocked with beach equipment and towels. Washer/dryer and outdoor shower were a big help. A/C in one bedroom, kitchen, and living room was really nice! (One bedroom has no A/C.) It was wonderful and we would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect- a simple, beautiful beach house less than a block to the sand and an easy walk to town. Daniel went above and beyond making sure we got into town (after a near-closure of the road in to Hanalei) and helping coordinate a gear pick-up at the house after we left. It made our trip with two small kids extra easy.

This charming house was clean, nicely decorated, quiet and very comfortable. Good beds, well equipped kitchen and prompt and effective communication from the manager. Just steps from the beach, with a large and well maintained yard, good beach gear, functioning gas barbecue and a nifty outdoor shower. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

House was small, but cute and well set up. 3 beach cruiser bikes, had 8' & 4' foam boards plus some boogie boards, blow up toys etc....Daniel was easy to work with and very responsible. House is across from Grandpa's/Pinetrees and easy bike ride to the pier or pavillions. Our family had a great stay

The house is very nice, well maintained and clean. Easy check-in and check-out, responsive host. The best beach on Kauai is within 2 minutes walking distance. There are boogie boards and serf boards in the cabinet behind the house. Air conditioning made the stay even more comfortable and good soundproof windows made our sleep much better despite roosters.

The house had lots of space for three adults and a toddler. It is literally two minutes’ walk from the beach (with lots of beach stuff available), and there’s a big garden and a BBQ if you want to chill out “at home”. Hanalei itself is amazing.

We really loved our stay here. It was just a perfect location. Nice to have a yard for our 2 year old to run around in and very enjoyable. The host was extremely helpful and flexible in a way that really helped us out. The place itself is not as polished as a typical condo, but that is also part of what is so fun about it. Location is amazing - so close to a beautiful beach. Super comfortable beds and very well equipped with beach supplies and fun beach cruiser bikes for quick juice trips to town. Loved everything about this home and experience.

Unbelievable beach/surf bungalow
Amazing doesn't begin to describe this property. Air conditioning in the main bedroom and common area added to the comfort. Three beach cruiser bicycles included w/ the property were so much fun to cruise to town/beach/pier. We rode em everywhere for juice, beer, groceries, acai bowls, shopping and to swim at the Hanalei pier. Also, a surfboard, beach chairs, sand toys were available to use w/ the property. A new gas grill just added to the already small but abundant kitchen. No dishwasher only added to making my kids handwash their dishes which they needed to learn better skills anyway. The view in the backyard or out the back window is a big Kauai mountain w/ waterfalls. The front porch was perfect for early morning coffee. Short drive to all things Haena and Kalalua trailhead. Finally, and my favorite part of the property, the outdoor hot shower. My family used it several times a day and it was fantastic. Many great memories were made w/ my family. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!!

Perfect Hanalei House
We stayed at this home in June 2022. We absolutely loved it. The location was perfect...one block back from the beach, and about a 1/2 mile to town. We rented bikes and loved biking to/from town and to the other beaches along Hanalei Bay. The house was fully stocked with beach gear, and the outdoor shower was amazing. I would highly recommend staying at this home! We hope to be able to come back to Hanalei one day :)

Wonderful place close to the beach and to town . Clean , beautiful equipped with everything you need. I hope they will be available in the future we definitely would like to come back regularly.
