The location was nice
First off, it sucked that we couldn't have 3 ppl in a room, so we had to pay for 2 rooms and my sister had to stay by herself. It stunk like sewar and sulfor. The window had no screen on it, and the bugs were coming in, so we couldn't use it.The guy at the front desk wasn't very happy. The all-around vibe just was not good. I wouldn't stay here again

Nettes kleines Hotel mit schöner Lage am Hafen. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Bucht. Beim Frühstück war alles vorhanden, sogar Ingwershot war im Angebot 😃. Gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis, sehr nettes Personal.. wir würden wiederkommen

Die Lage und die Sauberkeit sind einzig artig.
Der Standard bei der Zimmerreinigung setzt Massstäbe für andere Hotels. Jedes Zimmer wird mit separaten Putztüchern und Bodentücher gereinigt.
Frühstück wird angeboten aber eine Kleinigkeit zu Mittag oder Abend wäre wünschenswert.

Perfect place to sleep finally in a decent accommodation after many days of lodges and all kinds of small homestays on the way. Everything you would expect from a decent hotel.
Giant windows with amazing views.
The hand soap: first I thought it's amazing, some high brand one with a great citrus smell, I actually loved it. By the morning both our hands were destroyed and dried from it (and no, it wasn't from the traveling). I checked the ingredients and it's full of perfume. Unfortunately we're both alergic to these kind of perfumed soaps.
We booked half a year in advance and finally the last few weeks the prices were 40-50% cheaper for the better kind of rooms than what we paid for the basic one.

The rooms were new, clean and well laid out. Everything provided for toiletries and comfortable beds.
It was a bit noisy with doors closing. And we could hear the people in the room next door.

Ottima posizione, facilmente riconoscibile e con una vista splendida sulla baia. A due minuti a piedi dal centro turistico e dai ristoranti in zona porto della cittadina. Una menzione particolare ai prodotti per la cura del corpo (sapone mani e viso, latte corpo, shampoo doccia), naturali e di ottima qualità. Non ho fatto colazione in albergo, ma a pochi minuti c'è un supermercato dove ho acquistato il necessario per proseguire nel viaggio.

Ein eher einfaches Hotel aber mit einer sehr schönen Lage. Tipp: unbedingt Zimmer Richtung Meer nehmen /nicht Richtung Hafen/. Da hat man dann den sensationellen Sonnenuntergang direkt vor sich. Frühstück war fein. Direkt in der nähe gibt es auch ein paar nette Lokale zum Abendessen.
Das Bad war sehr klein, eher schon alt und mit wenig bzw. kaum Möglichkeit etwas abzulegen. Aber ok, für eine Nacht ist es kein Problem.

Great position right on the lake and right in the centre, next to the harbour and several restaurants. (The Pakkhuis just by it is great.) Very nice reception, comfortable rooms, nice toiletries, good breakfast and friendly staff.
The corridor to the rooms is quite scruffy and could do with a bit of redecoration. It doesn't match the smartness of the reception.

Nice modern style hotel. The room and overall hotel were clean and updated.
Parking was a little unkempt. Area around the hotel was old but that is not the hotels fault.

Surprisingly, could hear neighbors talking and upstairs noise. Did not have dairy alternatives, like oat milk, for breakfast for my wife who is dairy allergic

Good location for a one night stay in Hofn
The carpets in the hallway leading to all the rooms are old and tattered- which gives the hotel hallways a dorm room feeling, also makes it look old and dated. The staff at breakfast wearing black jean shorts looks unprofessional compared to the Myvatn hotel where they dress more formally

There are two famous restaurants near the hotel . And it used card key not the original key that’s easy for me to enter the room. In the morning, I can see the sea view which is very cool

The hotel location in central Hofn is good and within walking distance of the bars and restaurants.
Check in was straightforward and our room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was a continental buffet with a good choice.
Despite a good choice of food at breakfast some of the hot food was lukewarm.
