Pleasant

The amenities were great and the rooms were big

The air conditioning was in aa timed setting that we could not change. It was most inconvenient during this heat.

I felt like a kid on holiday staying in someone's house with ridiculous rules imposed everyday.

The overall stay was verry bad, the host is crazy and has a reputation on the estate, she treated me like a child, bullied me, discriminated against my disabled brother and elderly mother, didn't allow any guests, there is more but i will put it in my complaint i will be making.

The host being better organised, less rude and discriminative and the property is falsely advertised.

I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property. Worst experience ever.

The community

There was nothing to like the host is very rude and don’t know how to talk to anyone and when you leave the premises and come back there’s always someone at the apartment as soon as we leave without our knowledge and when you talk to the host she would say just leave my premises. The ac is another thing as soon as you’re quiet it’s off and she sets everything on timer even the hot water. And if you’re afraid of lizards and roaches it’s not the place to be. Miss Dyer is not a nice person to deal with any problem at her premises and you complain she would tell you that you’re the one who did it smh. I remember one day me and my family went out and no one told us that someone would be at the house we were so scared at first until we noticed it was the cleaning lady and a man they opened the door and went in whenever they want to they don’t respect anyone to say anything we were treated as if we were squatters and as if we didn’t pay our money this is my worst experience going to Jamaica. Another thing the washing machine are lacked away and if we want to use it we would have to pay 70 US dollar she also told us that if we messed up one of her towels it would be 70 U.S. dollars. And we couldn’t even have any visitors smh at the gate it’s always a problem coming through every time we of to give our full name and I was told it’s just the host is the problem we wanted our Neice to come and stay for a few days and she charged 400 dollars extra. Utensils is very bad, beds and sofas is no good it’s just too much going on with miss dyer premises!

I would never visit this property or any other property she owns.

Everything thing was good until it was time for her to send back my damaged refund of $200.00. I had to reach out to her to ask about my money and she said she tried to call me which wasn't ture. She said there was a broken glass. I took pictures of the entire house including the dishes. There was nothing broken or missing. She said she would send me the upload and never did. I had to file a complaint against the owner of this property.

A nice, clean property in a great location.

Rooms extremely hot since the AC doesn’t stay on. Host/Owner is very rude and has absolutely no care for your customer experience.

it was a nice house but the house was not clean and we all got sick because of it.

very spacious with plenty rooms.Very close to Ocho Rios. it was also very safe

The House was not very clean. The Showers were filthy and had dirt and hair in the corners.Also the house was very hot because the air conditioning was on a 2 hour timer and would not stay on.

inconsistencies with the times and payment arrangements and found it was a bit intrusive with the house keeping staff being at the apartment for so long every day houskeeping staff wdre very polite and pleasant but the owner was qjite abrupt

Disappointing

I liked the location...it was nice. The place was clean.. and the area was quiet.

I didn't like, that regardless the windows and doors being closed, the AC would always shut off.. then the owner of the place,had someone come and move things out while my stay there...on top of,NEVER giving me back my deposit, it was $150 deposit for damages. And I still didn't receive it..

Disappointing

The location of property was good and the house it self had adequate spacing.

The ceiling fans were so dirty that we couldn’t use them and the AC unit needs service. I have pictures of such but will keep for further reference if the needs arise. My family and I all left there with a cough and allergy acting up. Texted the manager about the ceiling and standing fans and she never responded. I asked the housekeeper to clean standing fan and she was pleasant about doing it. For 2 days we did without batteries for AC remote for 2 rooms and we never got a remote to operate TV in the master bedroom though the property manger was inform via text and the housekeeper. If you’re afraid of lizards this place is not for you because we had to be fighting them out of the house nightly though we kept the windows close not to mention cleaning up there mess from the first day from countertops and floor. Any changes to plan make sure you get it in writing and signed from the owner and do not accept any favors because she changes her mind pretty quickly. For me I was told all persons had to check in one time and it is stated in the policy which I never saw up today. Overall it’s a good location but poor maintenance and property manager is a little bully.

This is the place for you!!!!

Oh my goodness!! What can I say about Ms D and her home. To say that she went over and beyond to make sure my experience was great is an understatement. It was perfect from beginning to end. Ms Thomas and Ms Edwards catered to my every need. I have already booked my return trip.

Excellent!

We stayed at the three bedroom home in Drax Hall. Our stay was short but it was a great one. It was as promised. My friends and I got just what we imagined and were told. Our housekeeper was pleasant she went above and beyond to ensure we were all tucked in and taken care of. The environment is welcoming. We left early and regretted it. But I promise to share this experience with my family and friends both local and abroad. Great team, home away from home. God bless them.
