Wake up and drift to sleep with the magical sounds of the ocean soothing you.

The ocean is literally right outside. So relaxing watching the sun go down each evening with the sound of ocean waves crashing on the shore or waking up in the morning to the relaxing sounds of the ocean!

Parts of the apartment are beginning to show their age, but this location at this price, you hardly notice.

location and parking availability

outdated, dishwasher didn’t work. the apartment needs a good renovation. strange people come to your second floor apartment to ask you if they can use the bathroom

Very poor

Great location

It was a dump. Refrigerator is completely brown on top with rust. A lot of rust elsewhere. Built in 1976, I doubt anything has been updated (except the ceiling fans and I can tell they were replaced by the white spackle used to fill in holes). The unit is screaming for paint to cover up filth on the walls. The floors are a mess as well. Look at the picture of the broken hair dryer specially the rust and extrapolate that throughout the condo. I’ve used Booking.com a lot in the past but now doubt that I will use them again if this is the type of rental units that they offer.

It was a relaxing comfortable stay

The main room was very nice and had plenty of utensils and dish ware for us to use. The bed was super soft and the rooms view was very nice.

The pool water was very warm so not very refreshing in hot day.

Oceans sounds rock you to sleep and becon you to sip coffee and enjoy the Kona mornings

Wonderful ocean Front, our lanai was only 2 steps from the beautiful waves, a great experience going to sleep to the sound. Kona Bali Kai pool is so large and refreshing on warm Kona afternoons. There is a full kitchen making it easier to enjoy your beautiful condo- stay in!

Would definitely stay here again

excellent location, pool hours were good for our use at the end of the day, Ocean front barbecue, loved that! The view and lanai were awesome and great for eating dinner, hanging out at the end of the day and for watching the sunset too

The only thing that was worrisome was some sort of inner water leak coming down inside the parking garage. At first I didn't think much about it, except for the fact it was obviously coming from inside the building. In light of the recent building collapse in FL and reports of similar sounding leakage from the building it is scarey

Absolutely Beautiful Ocean Views

It was absolutely beautiful views. We will definitely stay here again. Sit out on your lanai and watch the sunsets, surfers and beautiful waves. Paradise at its finest.

Very Nice location but the condo itself was run down and falling apart

Location cannot be beat - best on island

The condo was the worst kept of any we have stayed at over the many years we have stayed in Kona and specifically at Bali Kai - the mirrors in bathroom cracked, rust in tubs, light fixtures rotting, ceiling fan rotted, etc - bathrooms smelled like mold and urine. We ended up leaving early after the dryer died and the circuit breaker had to be replaced- the panel box was filled with rust and crumbling. Maintenance guy was good but he was pretty freaked too with how little has been done to maintain the place - rusted out screws for panel, wires hanging loose, etc
