The best money you can !!!

The local was near the Santa Village. This tours are set up near the cabin. The convenience made easy to book another tour especially when my got cancelled.

More people and Lounge was open!!

Unforgettable stay in the nature, perfect to spot northern lights. Really peaceful localtion for those who want to escap

Everything was just perfect, from the time of booking to the departure. The cottage is spotless, cozy, and just in front of the river, with everything you need (obviously it is a cottage and not an hotel). You can find even American coffee machine, hairdryer, towels. But the stay wouldn’t be so perfect without the amazing service of Paula: she provided me with useful information before hand, and even if I arrived late in the evening and after the check-in time, she left the keys ready for me and her mobile phone if I needed anything. She also checked if I could extend for one extra night, and asked if she could help in finding me another location. The cottage is situated 10 minutes by car from Rovaniemi city centre, which has an efficient taxi service, so I could easily go to the city with the taxi, and if you book a tour with some local companies, they come to pick you up directly from the cottage, so the distance from the city did not bother me at all. It made my experience even more special, as I could see amazing northern lights form the river where the cottage is situated! Thank you, Paula, for your kindness and outstanding hospitality!!

Great cozy friendly place!

Cute Cozy warm cottage in a very nice quiet location with great view over the lake and sunrise\set. Even a nice fireplace :) Cooking was possible, and within a 20 minute walk you could already be in a amazing park/Forest. Not too far from the Center, and very well reachable by car. The staff were super nice to us, even helped us with a Christmassy light decoration! Lots of freedom in come/go and with a amazing sauna just a few footsteps away from the lake/river :) Would come again, also in summer.

They cant do a lot against it, but public transport connection is not great. The offered wifi at times could get slow, watching a movie we had to let it buffer in beforehand :)

I highly recommend Saarituvat Cottage! The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet that this place offered as well as the beautiful view from the room. The sauna was great as well.

Lovely cotttages and an amazing host

Paula is an amazing host and can help you with everything. The cottages are very well equipped (also the kitchen!). Also the cottages are very cozy and clean. You can use the Sauna for free and there is a bus station directly in front of the accomondation. I can highly recommend the accommodation.

Everything about this place is perfect. You have everything you need to spend magical and peaceful time in Rovaniemi. Paula the owner is such a lovely helpful person, she made our stay really special and peovided us with all that we might need. The best place we found on booking, ever. We even managed to see the northern lights from right there, no need to go any further looking for it!

Cosiest cabin ever

The cottages and very cozy and have nice decor, they’re really warm as well. The owner is super friendly and helpful, she organises all the time slots for the sauna and even messaged us in advance regarding last minute covid changes. It was also possibly the cleanest accommodation I’ve been in. Thanks for the great experience !!!

There honestly wasn’t a thing not to like. It is pretty far from the city, but even without a car we were more than fine - most of the activities picked us up from the cottages, and sometimes we just walked all the way back/ took a taxi depending on how we felt.

Magical place :)

I've traveled a lot and through many luxurious resorts, and I must say that this accommodation is excellent, Paula is a host who will provide you with 5-star service, cottages are cozy and beautiful, you will feel like in a fairy tale, the location is great, it is possible to walk to Santa Village because the road is very good. I had an extraordinary time and I would recommend this accommodation to everyone and next time in Lapland I would definitely stay here.

Saarituvat Cottages - Great place to stay

Paula made everything to feel at home. Cottages facing river have stunning view. Inside the cottage you have everything you need. Sauna located right on the river, so you can refresh yourself in cold water . Cottages located just 5 minutes from Rovaniemi Airport in very peaceful and quite location. In good weather you can watch Northern lights.

Very cozy cottages with a veranda on the river bank. We found a full kitchen, refrigerator, large table and comfortable bed. We had the opportunity to take a bath in the sauna.

Great location, i looked at a great view the whole week. Very quiet. The little cottage was absolutely packed with things, a quaint little home with nothing missing. Internet was great.

Kinda hard to freshen up the place, the only real option was to open the door wide. Stove was way in the back where it would be hardest to ventilate, there was a window close to it but it was blocked. So i didn't feel like cooking anything other than boiling water.

Lovely cottage in great location

Really nice cottage in a great location. The bed is comfortable and the whole cottage is very clean. Beautiful interior with lovely details, like candles, fairy light and flowers. The view is amazing - direct view to the river. Parking for free, right next to the cottage. Highly recommended!!

Owner was great. Forthcoming, helpful and accomodating. Basically everything you hope to get in a host. 11/10.

Public transport is scarce and at very odd times. Unless you have a car or enjoy walking a mile for groceries, you might get stranded there.
