Romantic, pleasure, everything you need, quiet

The cottage was well present, very clean and in such a quite location. Our evenings were spent sitting around the fire pit listening to the wood crackling and the local wildlife. Absolutely great to relax

Baroona cottage is special. A must stay.

The keys were in the door for us upon arrival. It is so private and cosy. Everything you need is there including wood for the fires inside and out. The bed is extremely comfortable and all the special touches are wonderful.

Magical Victorian High Country Experience!

The host left us a welcome bottle of wine and flowers! The cottage itself was the most perfect little place for relaxation which included everything we needed, kitchen, fridge, bbq etc. We even had a horse and some cows come over to say hello. Not too far from Mansfield and the High Country Gardens and Maze, we even took a trip to Mt Buller for fun! We really felt like we experienced the magic of the victorian high country. Already recommending this place to all our family and friends. Thank you to the host for allow us such a wonderful place to stay.

Perfect cabin stay

Perfect rustic looking cabin with all the creature comforts. Clean and new looking bathroom, comfy bed and huge tv. Close enough to town and some great places to eat. Glad to have found this property and will certainly be back.

My Husband and I stayed for 3 nights Mid Winter for my 50th Birthday. The Cottage has a Wood Fire it was warm and cosy.

Its a lovely place for a couple to go and just relax for a few days and just spend time together. The host is wonderful. The outside Bath is a Hit and the Horses and the Visiting Wildlife make Baroona Cottage very special.

Very relaxing stay, read books, watched the cricket and tennis, barbecued dinner and did it all again each day.

Lovely location, private and quiet, just birds and kangaroos for company. The very clean and well appointed cottage has all you need to self cater. Very comfortable bed and couch and large TV. The outside bath is a lovely touch and it was nice to lay back in it and watch the stars come out. Mansfield was a short drive away with supermarkets, cafes and good coffee.

Tranquil and serene country escape ~ Fabulous!

The cottage was beautifully and creatively decorated with an old school charm, yet the bathroom was modern with a very comfortable walk-in shower. We had some hot days over our stay but the aircon made the place cool down fast and big windows helped getting the lovely breeze in at night. Just stunning nature all around, with a great porch to have breakfast in and spot the variety of Australian bush life ~ cockatoos, kangaroos, horses, galahs, ducks, kookaburras and dragonflies. And with a short drive to Mansfield and it's good cafe offering, we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway from Melbourne!

Amazing. We will be back.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and cosy. We loved everything about it, the seclusion, privacy, tranquillity and of course the wild life, waking up seeing the kangaroos was amazing and the beautiful horses. Beth is an amazing host even though we didn't see each other we could message her at anytime if we needed to and she made sure our stay was memorable. So thank you and you have a absolute Gem. We will be back.

10/10 exceptional stay!

Cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in. Exceptional in every way! Bed so comfortable. Amenities and setting perfect. The outdoor bath around the horses and dogs with a glass of sparkling was amazing! Highly recommended staying at Baroona Cottage
