The property is absolutely beautiful & in an amazing location.
I had an absolutely terrible experience upon check in & have never experienced such poor customer service.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Location of the hotel is good.
Your website stated that it is a 5 star hotel with EV charging stations. It is incorrect, there is no EV charging stations, only 1 phase power points for EVs to be charged and this will take more than a day for my car to be fully charged. I need to drive around the parking station to look for power points. On the night that I stayed at the hotel, there were many EVs that needed charging facilities and the system at the hotel was not able to support the load. My Tesla App kept telling me that charging stopped. Hence, I need to drive around Canberra late at night to look for supercharger station. This made my stay very stressful. The main reason that I chose Midnight Hotel was because your website stated that it has EV charging stations. All in all this hotel cannot be rated as a 5 star hotel.

First there was no clear indication of access to the hotel from the car park. Secondly, reception was ordinary, third there was no desk type surface only a small round table which is an issue if there are two of you trying to do some work.

We did not have breakfast at the location, but the facilities around the hotel were nice. The room was comfy, the amenities were free which was a big plus, and the location in Canberra is great with the underground parking. The reception waived our underground fee as well, which was really nice and a nice parting gift from the hotel. I'd recommend this place in Canberra for sure.
The room windows were obviously apart of the support for the hotel so we had 25% of our wall as a window. This isn't a big issue, but just made it hard to get natural light into the room. I'd try to get above the cheapest room if possible. Smart TV was also difficult to navigate but got it working through mobile streaming.

It was clean, very modern and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The guest only gym was also a very good facility to have. On Easter Sunday the staff left little chocolate eggs throughout the hotel which was a lovely touch for the families staying
The pool was busy at all times of the day except late in the evening which made it difficult to use, but that isn't the properties fault, there were a lot of children staying at the time.

Lack of fire safety/evacuation protocol!! When the AFA was activated at 1.30am and all the guests were on the street with NO direction from any staff member about where the evacuation meeting point was. Also, there were no staff to check off a guest list checked to ensure all guests were accounted for. Even after the firemen returned to their appliance to leave, there was no explanation given to any of us relating to why we waited on the street in the early hours of the morning for 1.5 hours. No recompense was offered to us upon check-out the next day to make up the huge inconvenience & disrespectful treatment.

Exceptional lap pool 🏊! Absolutely beautiful.
We had breakfast included however it was ridiculously limited. For example you could only choose 1 eating item and 1 drink. It'd be nice to think you could have a coffee AND a juice included as well as some fruit AND toast but anything, including additional butter, was charged. I did raise this with the management already. A simple but quality buffet breakfast would have been appreciated or at least a continental one that is inclusive of a cereal, fruit, toast, tea/coffee and a juice.

Rooms are extremely tight. Room service brought out cold and stale food until I complained and then made a fresh batch. If you wouldn’t serve it to your family Dont serve it to your customers.

We were very happy with Midnight hotel in Canberra. We were there to visit my daughter so had a short stay.We had a small problem at check in because booking.com did not forward my requests to the hotel. The last gentleman I spoke to over the phone from booking.com even told me to hold so he could call the hotel to request connecting rooms for me. He then told me that it was all done. At check in I was told that the hotel had no record of any communication from booking.com. Fotunately, the hotel staffs were SO SO helpful and they told me that they will fix it for us at once to make up with all the problems I was put through! I was very disappointed with the service from booking.com considering I have been a long time customer with booking.com and try to book through this website only. I was going to write to booking.com upon return. but I got caught up with work, If booking.com do keep a record of all the communication and calls I made., I didn't just call once. I called, emailed and even called on the day before I left to make sure that everything could be smooth at check in. I was very disappointed.
I loved everything about this hotel especially their friendly staffs who would go out of their way to help at reception. My only diappointment was booking.com! who has let me down so much after trusting this only one website for all these years with my holidays and hotel bookings!

We have stayed in this beautiful hotel many times as we found the complementary mini bar fantastic. On our last two stays we found that the items in the mini bar have diminished. The bottles of white and red wines decreased from 375ml to 187ml, there were no cookies nor sparkling bottles of mineral water/juice.
