About this house rental
It's Tahoe Time! Let us welcome you to our four bedroom North Shore vacation rental, and start your vacation off right. Enter onto the main floor of this quintessential Lake Tahoe cabin, and you will immediately feel at home. A comfortable leather sectional and chair surround the large rock fireplace which serves as the focal point of the room. Nearby, the well appointed kitchen and dining area are equipped with all you need to enjoy a home cooked breakfast before starting out on your daily mountain adventures.
The Master bedroom with ensuite bath is also conveniently located on the main floor, making this home an ideal fit for travelers with mobility issues, provided they are able to navigate the five stairs from the driveway to the porch. The Master suite is tastefully outfitted with a queen bed, television, and reading chair.
Upstairs, the cozy family room is the perfect place for watching a movie. There are two full size futons in this room for those who may wish for alternative sleeping space. Three additional queen rooms are located on this floor as well. All of the bedrooms have new memory foam mattresses, Bluetooth radios, and easily accessible USB charging stations for phones, tablets, etc.
During the summer months, enjoy a spacious, fully fenced yard with small paver patio and outdoor dining area. A perfect place for the little ones or furry family members to safely explore the outdoors. Year round, take advantage of the fully enclosed hot tub, private and protected from the elements.

ABOUT THE AREA
Just west of Kings Beach and running right along the lake, Tahoe Vista is a favorite of outdoor enthusiasts. For lake lovers, kayaking from one of several hidden beaches, or a motorized excursion from the new Tahoe Vista Recreation Area boat launch facility are two Tahoe Vista treats. For landlubbers, the nearby Regional Park sports year-round trailheads for mountain biking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, a disc golf course, nature trails, and sweet swing sets.
In the winter, you are less than fifteen minutes from Northstar California. There, enjoy access to almost 100 trails and over 3,000 skiable acres, impeccable grooming, incredible tree skiing and enough variety to challenge every level of skier. Take advantage of world class terrain parks, cross country skiing, a youth Adventure Park, and a 9000 square foot ice rink surrounded by fire pits and a rink side bar.

2. Parking for 2 vehicles. Street parking is prohibited year-round
3. During the winter months, the yard is not fully fenced as the gate must be kept open for snow removal purposes.
4. In one of the bedrooms, the queen bed is in the corner of the room, with only one nightstand, and clearance between the end of the bed and the wall is tight.
5. The use of ANY outdoor firepit or outdoor fireplaces is strictly prohibited at all our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our community safe from wildfires.

A very nice home! Great location close to beaches and shopping. The home was nicely furnished and kitchen well appointed. Nice bedrooms and plenty of room for the 6 of us.
It was a nice neighborhood and a short walk to Safeway. The gates however which allow access to the back yard need work because the fencing needs work. Nice spa and large backyard. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely be a repeat customer .

We had an amazing stay at Tahoe Time. Absolutely perfect for our family and friends with small kids. The kitchen was also fully stocked with all the pots, pans and cooking equipment you could need, it made cooking a dream! We have already made plans to come back!

All in all, we all enjoyed our stay. A great restful time with the family. Well equipped kitchen. Nice large rooms! Fenced in yard, great for the dogs. Great areas for hiking! FYI, The front deck to the house is still under construction, no railings!

The house was beautiful, great location and spotless when we arrived. Plenty of towels and bathroom supplies for our group. Our only complaint would be that the parking area was pure ice, there was no sand or anything to put out and we had a pregnant individual and 2 older individuals that almost fell multiple times.

We had a lovely stay at Tahoe Time in Tahoe Vista! The home was super clean, well equipped and comfortable. The staff at Tahoe Getaways was very responsive to the couple of questions we had during our stay. Thank you for a fun holiday!

The house is located within walking distance to kings beach, and the layout is good for a few couples or maybe some children. The neighborhood while charming, seems to be mostly year round locals. Best to be quiet, friendly and respectful as a short term renter. Working with Tahoe Getaways was seamless. I would definitely recommend working with them directly to avoid the Vrbo up charge

Wonderful Weekend getaway
Our families had a wonderful weekend in Tahoe vista! The house was perfect for our 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids under 6). There were enough bedrooms for everyone, including space for pack n plays! The upstairs “common room” was the perfect space for the kids to play as well as do calm down time with the tv! All of the beds were very comfortable! Note, if you have kids who are too young for stairs, I’d recommend bringing a baby gate. We brought one and it kept us adults from having to chase the 1 year old up and down all weekend. Thank you!!

We BBQ'd one night outside in the backyard (it's a gas grill and not charcoal) and the neighbor called the fire department on us. We also had a dog in the house, which we left for two hours while we went to the beach. He was barking, and the neighbor called the county on us. The final day when we were leaving, the neighbor was also rude to us and asked if we were staying or leaving. It was all just pretty obnoxious and made the trip unpleasant.
All in all - if you're staying here, it's an amazing place (it looks exactly like the pictures do) but beware of the neighbor.

The place was immaculately clean. We felt so safe. Every drawer we opened, every plate or utensil we used, the bathrooms, etc. All spotless. The cleaning crew did an amazing job and it just felt so clean and comfortable. The cleanliness was an excellent first impression and made such an impact on us.
The location! We had considered a more remote cabin before booking this one. I'm so glad we went with this one. This place has so much great accessibility to many things. We could walk to the public lakeside beach, and to restaurants. The street was a friendly mix of locals and tourists. Wonderful access to everything we wanted and needed within minutes.
The overall layout of the house was so accommodating to our family. We stayed there with a mother-in-law and a brother-in-law plus his girlfriend and our daughter. All of us had our own rooms and they were situated in the way we all felt we had privacy and couldn't hear or bother one another. We could have even slept a whole other family in the upstairs rec room. I loved that the downstairs living room didn't have a TV but the upstairs was a nice TV and game playing gathering space.
We'd originally planned to bring our dogs but didn't (to give ourselves a break), but the house would have been very dog friendly as well.
And to come full circle back to the cleaning crew… when we left, my mother-in-law unknowingly left her wedding and engagement rings behind! The cleaning crew found them, called the office, and the office made arrangements to FedEx them back to her in her home state. Naturally we could not have been more thankful of their honesty.
This place is topnotch. We will be going back!! I hope others enjoy it in the future as much as we did ☺

Cozy Cabin in Kings Beach
Great location to walk to all our favorite Kings Beach/Tahoe Vista places. Cabin was very comfortable for 7 of us. Kitchen well stocked (except for very dull knives ..lol) Great layout, and super nice large hot tub for apres ski. Drawback- it is a bit dark. Several of the overhead lights were out, and the fireplace did not work. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Great home!
We had a great time at this cabin. It was super clean, spacious, warm and comfy, a great time. The hot tub gazebo thing also was magical and allowed us to have quiet conversation at night and not annoy the neighbors.
