Noise, Karaoke, Birds

Nothing.

Impossible to sleep because of noise. There is a karaoke bar at the top roof and all the sounds directly inside of your ears. I was in 5th floor and roof side at 7th floor. And there are bird nests next to your window and imagine what kind of night is waiting for you.

Overall absolutely poor hotel. There are much better hotels alongside the sea, a little more pricey but WORTH the extra swoo. abueu5 o} pey i 'aei oo} sjazou asau paia^o5s!p i 'so5 TWICE in this hotel because of the complete dampness and mould of the rooms. Several of the rooms are infested by birds in the air conditioning room, so feathers can be found on the bedroom floor. Ants alongside the bathroom also. Hotel refused to give me a refund for the night I had to change rooms twice, says a lot about this place. Please dont waste your time This hotel is about 15-20 minute walk from the main part of the city. Seems like a short time but when youre walking alongside a disgustingly polluted river with an awful smell, and a huge row of traffic every morning and afternoon, its very unpleasant. Semporna is an absolutely beautiful place nonetheless. Take a boat out to the stunning crystal clear beaches, totally worth it especially if you love diving. The coral reefs are so preserved and the water just stunning. The city itself is a huge disappointment, dont expect much at all. Very, very polluted and under developed. 4 days is enough in semporna, dont stay longer

The cleaner left my room door open all day. The room was dirty. Towels and bedding were dirty. No electric for one whole day. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Pictures are heavily deceiving.

Good location for Semporna jetty but bring noise-cancelling headphones...

Comfortable room. Most basic amenities available. 10-15 minute walk to the jetty to organise boat trips. Nice rooftop cafe with good views. Staff were pleasant.

There are a lot of noisy birds nesting near windows. The windows are not soundproofed. The birds only make noise at night when you try to sleep (the sound is so loud it is almost like they are in the room with you). We tried to change rooms, but the only other one offered had the exact same issue. Breakfast is quite basic and not very healthy. Not enough towels provided.

Not bad, but need a lot things to improve especially noise issues that came from rooftop cafe

Easy to excess, easy to park,

Sound system from rooftop cafe realy disturbing. The cafe karaoke till 12pm 🫠 noise from the bird nest near window also disturbing. Hope the hotel clean up the nest and stop the noise from rooftop cafe start 9pm.

Staffs were friendly and efficient. Breakfast simple but good.

No hot water in shower. Room next to main road, many noisy dogs across the road. Had a lamb chop for dinner at Rooftop cafe. 3/4 was fat and not much meat. Worst lamb chop I had.

You get what you paid for

Polite stuff

Disgusting room the corridor the floor has never been cleaned. Fungus in the bathroom. Disgusting stains in the room and on the window. Will never come back for a second stay. The have to renovate the whole hotel. Beds are not comfortable at all. If you watch over the ratings it looks like a nice hotel and bargain but in reality it's a not so nice place . You get what you paid for . My fault to bock this hotel.

Exceptional

Everything is excellent...from the staff, room cleanliness, amenities, food(even though its a simple breakfast but tasty), A La Carte Menu at the Rooftop also considered excellent and I love the night environment at the rooftop for hangout.. Im highly recommended the management to consider to have a busker or any type of musician with Jazz or any soul music during happy hour time at the rooftop as a value added to attract more in-house or a walk-in guest to enjoy their good time over there

my view was of a very close building even though listing said mountain or city view. That was not a view. Best to check in advance. Breakfast was a bit spartan.
