Bien pour une nuit

Un des seuls logement disponible à un tarif abordable et assez proche de pinhao. Il est situé à côté d’un magnifique point de vue (2-3minute à pied)

Nous avions la chambre sans vue donc je vous conseille de prendre celle avec la vue car ça vaut le coup ! Sinon peu d’insonorisation, petit déjeuner correct, paiement en espèces (n’étant pas prévenu heureusement nous en avions sur nous). Attention le logement se trouve tout de même à 15minute en voiture (petites routes à virage et pentures), et comme il n’y a pas de restaurant dans le village on est obligé de descendre pour manger (sinon prévoyez de quoi grignoter c’est préférable).

Pleasant guesthouse

The location in a village above Pinhao was great with superb views down to the Douro. Our hostess was very helpful, made our stay very pleasant and provided a very nice breakfast.

There are spacious rooms with glorious views and balconies. Unfortunately the one we had was small with no view, so that was disappointing.

A very pleasant stay and a gr3at

We had a lovely view of the river Douro and the surrounding vineyards from our balcony which was shared with another room but after chatting for a while we respected each other’s privacy and both used the balcony quite happily. The room and ensuite were of a good size and the breakfast was good with homemade jams.

You really need a car if you were staying here but it is not far to drive from Pinhao and quite easy to find. We drove Into Pinhao for dinner but other folk staying brought food and were able to use the establishments plates and glasses etc. and ate on the balcony and in the garden where there is a table and chairs.

worth the small inconvenience for the quiet.

Pretty view of valley from property.

Parking can be an issue on very narrow street, but we dropped of our bags and parked up the road. Could be a problem for the aged or obese. I’m 75 and did ok.

Superb

What an amazing view - surely one of the best in the whole of the Rio Douro. A very hospitable and comfortable stay with a good breakfast. Would definitely return.

Although when we booked we were aware that the accommodation is 2.5km from the train station, it is an incredibly steep climb and we should have paid the 22 Euro return for a taxi. Also there is only a small cafe serving drinks, ice cream and snacks but no restaurant in the village so if you are walking / using public transport, the location, although stunningly beautiful, is rather remote.

View was great! And the breakfast and dinner were delicious.

We did not know our room would have the bathroom in the hallway, so it was not attached to the room. Also, there was only one common area for everyone staying, so we mostly stayed in our room when at the hotel.

What an amazing view !

Stunning views of the surrounding area, it is a 12 Euro tax ride but well worth it. The walk down through the vines is very enjoyable. Friendly welcome and good attention to detail. Opted for the evening meal rather than go down to Pinhao. Just along the road is a village cafe serving food and drink throughout the day. Definitely a place to get away from the rush of daily life. Very helpful and friendly host with accommodation that is well looked after and has a feeling of real history.

Although I did walk up from Pinhao through the vineyards, it is quite some climb.

Exceptional

Absolutely awesome view 😍 and location, the staff were so pleasant. the suite was wonderful with a nice fire burning on our arrival, with everything so neat and clean. I would love to come back and stay loooooonger this time. Also, there were fresh oranges outside for the guests to pick and eat...yum! Great little hideaway, and I would definitely recommend it.

Orchidia was a wonderful host. She prepared a lovely dinner for us and a nice breakfast with homemade jams & cakes as well as fruits from the garden.

You can hear the other guests next door very well, and you also share the same balcony, which is a bit annoying.

Very nice and helpfull hosts. Good cooking. The interior of the house and rooms was kept in a beautiful original old style and the sourrounding and wiev from the house was extremely nice. Casa da bela vista deserves our best recomendation.

We look forward to some day revisiting

We are an American couple traveling in from the Azores via Porto and needed a good rest so this was just what we were looking for, we really enjoyed the house and the breakfast made our stay perfect. Love the house keeper/cook she is amazing.

We couldn’t stay longer due to our Schedule.

Accommodation was great, clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and very nice atmosphere and staff. However it was located up on the hill and it was difficult to get there, even by car (it should be added somewhere in the ad). But in general it was very good.

Beautiful views with a really nice owner. Excellent.

Good grief what a beautiful location and stunning view. We stayed for two nights and loved everything about the stay. The room was nice and spacious with a great terrace. The lady who runs the house was absolutely lovely she was so pleasant and couldn't do enough to help. The breakfast was really nice it even had various home made jams and cake such a nice touch. For a quiet relaxing stay after a busy day sign seeing this place is perfect.

Nothing all worked out fine a great stay all round.

Quiet and charming B&B with amazing views

The guest rooms are on the 1st and top floor, stunning view of the Duoro valley from the balcony, and charming breakfast room and sunny little garden on the same floor. Very welcoming hosts, who make delicious home made jams. The village is really quiet and great to be up on the hillside; lots of marked walking trails and I spent a couple of days exploring. I really recommend D'Origem, which is in the village, for wine tasting and tapas.

We loved so much that we stayed an extra day!

Our hostess Orchidaea (?spelling) is exceptional and made our stay a most pleasurable experience. Nothing was too much trouble.
