We spent 8 nights at Sunbirds and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They are tucked away in a quiet location off the main road and only 10mins drive from Kasane centre. The grounds are beautiful, the room plenty big enough modern and comfortable. We enjoyed using the pool daily which is a great size for a decent swim and nice and relaxing to sit around.
Breakfast is tasty and we ate dinner 1 night which was also very good. Game drives and trip to Victoria Falls were all organised by the friendly team of staff. Linda in particular is an excellent host and made sure our stay was as pleasant as can be.

An oasis with beautiful airy gardens, two pools with facilites for dining, superb modern rooms, -really comfortable, and an amazing staff, allways smiling. Letty, a sort of leader when the big boss is not there, is allmost made of good mood, laughter and charm, and she was ALLWAYS ready to help and organize.
My friend and me enjoyed the stay here so much, that we prolonged with three additional days. A must try, the Sunbirds Hotel.

Wir hatten das Glück und konnte einige sehr schöne Tage bei Boa und ihrem Team im Sunbirds verbringen. Die Anlage besticht durch wunderschöne Gartenanlagen, Bäume, die Schatten spenden und Bungalows für die Gäste. Es war für uns das perfekte Hotel zum Relaxen! Auch wirklich besonders war, dass jeden Abend das Abendessen frisch vom Hotelteam auf Bestellung hin zubereitet wurde. Es war ein wirklich perfekter rundum-sorglos Urlaub :)

The hotel has one of the most tranquil environments ever. Outstanding gardens, clean pools, clean rooms, air conditioning, the breakfast was an added bonus and you can also order dinner. The host is extremely amazing and kind. You can book a variety of activities through the hotel and they all worth it. The activity guides are well informed and extremely kind.

We verbleven hier drie nachten. Het was minder groots en meeslepend dan we hadden verwacht, maar het paste wel bij de prijs. Toch hebben we het hier bijzonder naar ons zin gehad, vooral dankzij gastvrouw Boa. Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving, zoals boottochten op de rivier en een jeepsafari in Chobe National Park, of bezoeken aan de tuinen en restaurants van lodges in de buurt. In de tuin van het hotel waren veel vogels te zien. Het eten was uitstekend (op een avond met weinig gasten was het restaurant gesloten, maar er kon wel eten van een bezorgfirma worden aangevoerd, wat Boa regelde; en drinken was er in elk geval).
Alles bij elkaar: bijzonder leuke plek om te verblijven, voor een goede prijs.

Highly recommended hotel managed by amazing woman called boammaaruri. She is very helpful with everything and always with a big beautiful smile. The room is big with air-conditioned, flat screen TV, refrigerator. The Wi-Fi is very good. We had a great time

Beautiful property, the rooms are enormous, excellent service. They prepared a delicious local vegan dinner for us 🤤. I love that it's a female-owned and black-owned business. More business like this should be supported.

We had booked two rooms, but because of renovations in the hotel complex, they upgraded us to occupy an entire 5-bedroom house ("The Residence", actually a different property next door, under the same management). Very spacious, with a huge balcony with a bit of a view of the Chobe River. Every morning, they brought breakfast up to the balcony for us! They also served us dinner (which we only had once at the property) in the dining room in "our" house. Activities (boat cruise, trip to Victoria Falls, game drive) were organized very diligently, at a very reasonable price.

it’s not a hotel… it’s an old apartment block with a Hotel sign on the road outside. No reception, no river access, arrogant owner ( woke us up at 11pm to ask what time we would be ready for breakfast next day)

Very beautiful guest house in Kazungula/Kasane. We booked a lot of activities with the structure at good prices (6h safari and boat safari, pick up at the structure). The room was very large, likes a suite! There Is a wonderful garden to relax. Boa was a very helpful host; She can arrange also short transfer to Kasane for lunch or other needs. For breakfast you have yogurth with fruit or muesli; in addition there Is a hot meal with bacon, eggs, toast...for dinner you can choose among 7/8 choises. Moreover Very good price!

The rooms were large suites with separate bedroom, toilet, bathroom and living area plus small patio. Had a kitchen table and fridge but no cooking facilities. Clean and comfortable.
This "hotel" is basically unknown by locals even by taxi drivers and difficult to locate as no signage and a long way out of town tucked away at end of narrow sand track so you need a car to stay here. We luckily had one for most of our 6 night stay. Couldn't find hotel initially as sign outside says a private residence No 761. We wandered round the house and couldn't find anyone, then searched the large grounds. No reception office finally found a lady carrying a mobile internet hub and phone in her arms who directed us to a group of motel style rooms in garden. The house is for self catering and when someone in residence you are locked out of most of gardens. The swimming pool did not appear clean or inviting. Breakfast was haphazard and basic to put it mildly with a lad cooking in the house and valiantly carrying a tray backwards and forwards some forty yards to a structure by the pool. It was impossible to find anyone during the day and no staff after about 6pm. Staff were shy and unforthcoming and need training in customer service. No help with bookings or information. There was a security guard. Parking was minimal and difficult. The staff try their best but whoever owns this property needs to provide a reception area, better organisation and facilities to help them.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! We enjoyed the absolutely beautiful, lush garden, and were happy about the swimming pool, good food and washing services.
While the furniture etc is all in good state the cottage itself would need some renovations.

Gardens/lawns were fantastic. Breakfast was very tasty. Room was big and very nice. TV worked well.
No reception. Cold shower. No information at all. Couldn't pay for laundry done as nobody to pay to. Almost left without laundry as couldn't find it or them. You must book for breakfast and dinner but contacting them is difficult. No milk. Coffee whitner didn't work. Was in date but made coffee lumpy.

For a very reasonable price, I had a suite of rooms larger than my apartment back home! All facilities were in good working order. Tea and coffee making facilities provided as well as complimentary bottles of mineral water. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel has extensive gardens attracting many birds. The staff, especially Ms Lelantle, and the cook [whose name I don't remember] were friendly and helpful.
I was told by Booking.com that a transfer to the airport was included in the room price. However, this was not understood by the staff, so the driver had to take me to an ATM to get the cash to pay him for the ride. This was a little embarrasing and caused a little delay. Booking.com maybe should make it clear to the hotel staff what they have told the customer is included in the price.

There are few suggestions which the hotel can consider:
1. there is no telephone in the room and the staffs wont be around during the night time. So incase of any emergency its difficult to contact anyone
2. We couldnt find reception/office at the lodge.
3.Everytime we need the assistance we have to go and see the chef who will be there till 8pm.
4. There are no enough lightings for the lawn. On the first night there were lanterns kept in few places and rest of the nights the whole area was too dark.
