STAY AWAY!!!!

Location

HORRIBLE & DISGUSTING place - For your own safety and well being - Stay away!! I am referring to room number 501. Images, description and communication with the property is DECEIVING!!! Room was smelling of smoking and mold, walls very disgusting and dirty, the whole place looks bad. Not worth a penny. We are a family of 6 and I specifically inquired before booking if the room can accommodate all of us and was answered that there are 3 double beds in the room. That is a pure lie! There is only 1 double bed and 4 mattresses laying on a “floor” above the bedroom. One person presumably was supposed to sleep in a hole in the wall - far from how they describe the room. Immediately after getting into the room we asked for another room as that room is inhabitable, they tried to convince us to open the windows or that they would come the next day to clean. It was so bad that we couldn’t stay there so unfortunately had to book another place for that night and then booked another place for the remaining nights, more than doubling our hotel costs for the 5 nights we were supposed to stay there. Neither the property nor Booking are taking responsibility for deceiving us. That is very disappointing.

Für Tokyo extrem große Unterkunft. Ganzer Aufbau sehr modern und super einladend für eine Gruppe von 4.

Great location and stay if you are a younger traveler, not for people who want to sleep and have children

Close to the station. Near lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. Lots of space and comfortable.

Lots of noise. There was a party held upstairs with lots of yelling. Room is not soundproof, so you also hear lots of noise of people partying on the street. A naked woman tried to get into one of the other rooms and was yelling for a while. There is no lobby, only an iPad on a stairwell. The shower needs some love and attention.

Amazing location, such a large family friendly size room for Japan, and also had a washer dryer that came as a massive help with the kids.

Great place to crash after arriving in Tokyo

The location of this apartment was great, and we really appreciated the relatively spacious quarters. This was our first room after arriving in Tokyo, and it was an excellent place to crash. A combination washer-dryer with operating instructions proved really practical and convenient.

Not soundproofed; Very loud neighbours upstairs, which is ok if you’re also loud of course. A bit of a smelly feet situation until the air is on.

Exceptional

The location is very strategic nearby the train station. The facilities are awesome. Owner even complimentarily extended our check out time from 10 am to 12 pm due to changed of flight. There are a lot of shops nearby and for muslim, there is one halal kebab just 300 meters away from the house. Highly recomended & definetely will come again.

Superb

Great location and cozy room with sunshine through window. You can experience a beautiful dawn from window of the room. I could enjoy music all the day by Marshall box in the room. A good supermarket nearby. I love this area and this stay experience in illi Shimokitazawa

No tea or coffee provided in room due to covid.

Very nice location, close to railway station. It is in the middle of bustling suburb, not very quiet but not very hectic. There are small shops and restaurant/cafeteria nearby. The room is neat and clean, and has all we need. There is elevator, important for us who bring lot of luggage.

No complaint, but it will be perfect if there is small bathtub

Spacious and comfortable stay with proximity to fantastic shops, eateries and Tokyo!

We loved our stay at Illi Shimokitazawa. The location is fantastic, three minutes from the train station with Shibuya one express stop away. Tons of second-hand shops, restaurants and grocery stores surround the apartment building. There were six of us and we stayed on the sixth floor with plenty of room and super comfortable beds. It was quite hot during our stay, but the apartment was air-conditioned and an added bonus, had a washer! Highly recommend this spot!

Highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Very comfortable, very spacious (esp for Tokyo)

The room was so spacious, location is excellent cos shops and restaurants are just downstairs. Ability to do Laundry, is excellent

1) Toilet paper. Very thin and cheap. Sticks to your butt. Otherwise everything is excellent. 2) trouble when checking in. Facility Wifi was not present so cannot check in. Had to use hotspot.

Cool interesting neighborhood and the accommodations are located at the heart of it.

The location was great! Cool, young, and lively neighborhood with many interesting shops and good restaurants.

The photos look better. The finishes are a bit sloppy and the furniture and carpet looks a bit run down.

Location, amenities, overall design of the dwelling.

The other guests. Unsure of whether floor design, or the fact that the guests staying in the floor above were either elephants or practicing taekwondo the entire night. But all we could hear was constant banging across the floor. Across the entire night we would have gotten a total of 2 hours sleep. Facilities were great, the other guests however were a solid -10.

Perfect location in my favorite neighborhood. plenty of space for a group of friends and can book multiple apartments if the group is large.

Terrace House vibes, super close to the station, clean, comfortable, and spacious!

I felt like we were staying on the set of Terrace House! We booked two apartments (301 and 401) for 7 of us, but it could have easily fit 10-12 comfortably. This place is the biggest place I've ever stayed in Tokyo -- there's even a couch and a coffee table AND the beds had side tables. It's super comfortable, modern, and great for groups. The shower is separate from the toilet and from the sinks. It was also super convenient to have working washer and dryer (the dryer part is super rare) for those of us who had been traveling a bit before. Lastly, it's super close to the Shimokitazawa station which was a huge plus. I would definitely stay here again!

If you want privacy, this is probably not the place since it's basically a luxury dorm (all the beds in one room) but that was fine since we were all good friends and live together.

Great! Would definitely stay here again.

The location is fantastic! In a funky part of town, restaurants and shopping at the door. Well designed small apartment for a family, kids upstairs in loft and adults downstairs in small bedroom. Fab little Marshal bluetooth speaker, was so pleased to play my own music for a change on holiday. Decent kitchen. They must have fixed the issue with check in because there is now a key lock box, we met the cleaner anyway and he gave us our key. Three way bathroom with washer/ dryer and double sink was excellent except for the shower pressure.

Please please put up a blind or curtain in the small double bedroom for privacy! Would love some shelves or a small cupboard to store clothes or personal items, I'm so sick of living out of a bag on holidays.

SUPER convenient and great layout. Cozy and fun!

This apartment had everything! Fantastic location, which made dragging our luggage from the train station super convenient, surrounded by supermarkets and food and right in the heart of everything in Shimokitazawa! The bar area had everything you needed for heating up meals and making coffee and making instant noodles if you need to but why would you when you are surrounded by good food! We did coz we came during the new year period and most shops were closed! haha.

The check in procedure was completely self-done with detailed instructions. So make sure you read the instructions before coming.

We loved the neighbourhood - lots of great coffee, food and vintage shopping!
