About this cottage rental

Located in Located in a holiday village close to Clifden town, this is a well decorated 3-bedroom holiday home. The holiday village is set within a magnificent natural environment of mountain, meadow and river with spectacular views of the renowned Connemara landscape. This is an ideal holiday cottage for those looking for a family break, a peaceful getaway, or a base for exploring all that the Connemara region has to offer. Facilities in the holiday village include a children's play area, tennis courts, and you are just a short drive away from lovely sandy beaches. Clifden town is just 1.5km away and is a truly welcoming town that boasts a superb selection of pubs, excellent restaurants, and a wonderful selection of shops which will provide everything you need for your Connemara holiday stay. Festivals of note are the Clifden Traditional Music Festival, Connemara Pony Festival and Clifden Arts Festival. Local activities include fishing, hill walking, pony trekking, golf, mountain bike trail, boating and much more. Facilities: 3 Bedrooms – Sleeps 6. Bedroom 1 is a double room with en-suite bathroom and is located on ground floor. Bedroom 2 and 3 are located upstairs and are made up of a single bedroom and a double and single and both rooms offer wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Also, upstairs is a family bathroom with WC, hand basin and bath with overhead electric shower. The kitchen, dining and living areas are all on ground floor level. The open fire, multi-channel TV, DVD playboard games, books and comfortable seating will offer the most relaxing of evenings. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment including microwave, kettle, toaster, electric cooker, washing machine and fridge with icebox freezer. Electric heating throughout. There is a patio with outdoor seating and BBQ. Towels and linens are provided. Cot available. Pets welcome. Wi-Fi included. Heating and electricity included.

Great location to explore Clifden and surrounding area. Love our peat fire each night. Sandy our host was great. She went out of her way to be helpful.

Very comfortable cottage, the owners have thought of everything! Kids loved the tennis court. We all enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for 2 nights as part of a road trip and found the house really convenient as a centre to explore some great nearby sights around Clifden. The house is in spacious grounds and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
