A Mother Daughter trip, enjoyed our stay.

Very nice and clean. Staff was quick to address any issue we had. A nice location, quick travel to anything we were doing. Felt safe and feels private.

Property was not as modern and updated as we would have liked for it to be - especially the kitchen and bathrooms.

We called this the Roach House

We booked this place because of the location and layout. The larger bedroom with a queen bed and bunk bed was perfect for our family of four while my mother in law was in the other bedroom.

We booked the house for two nights and arrived around 8 pm Saturday evening. Upon arrival, there were two dead roaches at the back entrance. It was late and we needed to bath and put the kids to bed right away, so we just disposed of the roaches so that the kids didn't step on them and track eggs into house. After getting the kids to bed, we found two more inside and they were alive. I texted the management company who responded they just sprayed for roaches two days ago so the roaches are probably coming out of the woodwork. It was too late to leave the place because the kids were already in bed, but we promptly left first thing the next day. It was stressful and a horrible experience. Regarding the management company, they were responsive but not very attentive. Automatic messages prior to arrival talked about wanting to give guests the five-star treatment. When I told them about the roaches the first night, there was no apology until after we checked out one night early. A day after I left, I received an automated message with check out instructions. That was just annoying because I would've preferred an apology and a call. It wasn't until later that evening around 5:30 pm did I get a call from them. The man finally apologized for the roaches and reiterated the property had just been sprayed so it was not unusual for the roaches to come out from hiding. He said they would only charge for one night and would not charge a cleaning fee. I suggested they not rent out a property that was being treated for pests knowing how bugs would react to the treatment. No guest wants to spend their vacation killing roaches and constantly be on alert for more. It was disgusting and ruined our vacation. I cannot in good faith recommend this place nor would I ever come back to stay here again.

Bathrooms need new plumbing. Water pressure awful. Ceiling fans in large bedroom did not work and we called for maintenance and no one showed up.

Loads of vintage charm in a comfortable, roomy, thoughtfully-renovated historic home.

Ideal city location, close to everything we wanted to see and do - especially being directly across from Harold and his funky, fun little secondhand store. What a gem!!

Perfect Getaway

House was close enough to all essentials and downtown area but still able to enjoy the stars and the quiet. Plenty of parking space. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen equipped with just about everything you would need. House had spacious rooms with modern style. Perfect for Girls Trip!!

Perfect place to start a refreshing get away.

Owner communicated where it was and how to get in clearly. It was clean and nicely decorated.The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and bedding. We were greeted with chocolates on the bedside table and coffee selections for our morning. It was close to the silos and central to everything we planned to do in downtown. Very nice place.

Tiny silly things that don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. Wished we had popcorn and kleenexes but should’ve brought those from home. They more then made up for it with the adorable little slices of artisan soaps available to us. This place met all our needs. Our daughter even sat on the backporch writing and enjoying the peaceful morning.

We had an excellent stay! Such a cute quant house, exactly what we were looking for!

We didn’t know Waco well so weren’t sure about the location but it was perfect! A few min drive to so many things.

The cutest house in a great location in Waco, Tx. Would stay here again no problem.

House is very homey and well decorated.

We didn’t bring any body soap so it was a challenge having to use/share the tiny soap provided.
