Great value and location for visiting the Lake District

Lovely peaceful location, friendly owners and an enjoyable breakfast. Pleasant walks nearby - took the dog up a bridle path just outside the B&B. Very welcoming for dog owners.

Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Belle Green. All very clean and welcoming. Delicious breakfast and and welcoming touches to the room, from the hot drinks and biscuits to the toiletries.

Lovely, warm and welcoming B&B and village :)

Ann and Steve were really kind and welcoming, gave us all the information needed and were attentive throughout our stay. The room and communal areas were really clean and had everything we needed. The views around the b&b were stunning as well. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful!

We had a wonderful short break at Belle Green. Our room was pristine and so comfortable. Breakfast was fab, quality and quantity wise. The location couldn’t have been better. Ann and Stephen were such kind and responsive hosts - we reflected on the way home that this is really what makes a trip memorable.

Belle Green, absolutely perfect

Everything about Belle Green was better than I expected, location is perfect, silent around the area, no road noise, you can actually hear bird song. Owners were welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, very knowledgeable of the local area including suggestions and great directions. Rooms were generous in size, beds comfortable and immaculately set out, tea/coffee/hot chocolate all complimentary, milk supplied in thermal jug, along with better than average biscuits. Ensuite bathroom very modern, again immaculate throughout with soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner of exceptional quality all laid on. Really can't fault anything at all, I WILL be returning.

The pub was busy and we had to travel for dinner but even that was a cute boat ride access windermere

Very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was a bother. In fact I have just received this morning By post my mobile phone charger which I left. Thank you.

This is a very small thing. Toilet paper was very thin. Sorry.

We loved the quiet, countryside location, beautiful furniture, cozy time next to fireplace and the relaxing time in bath. Truly magical place.

Lovely guest house in a beautiful village.

Great location. Lovely room, very clean and the property was clean and welcoming. The hosts are very switched on when it comes to covid and it felt very safe. Would stay again. Lovely touch being able to dry wet boots by the fire ready for the next day.
