Great views, large condo well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The access to the beach is easy and the pool was small but nice. Everything is very clean.
Be sure to check about parking deck repairs as I heard the parking will soon be shut down soon and parking will be at the church across the street.

We checked in about an hour early - parking in the garage was a little intimidating. But once we figured it out, it was great! Covered parking on the beach is terrific. Plenty of luggage and shopping carts to get your stuff from your vehicle to the room. The unit was well outfitted with everything you needed. Washer and dryer was a wonderful addition. The main living room is large - the pull out sofa was on one end allowing the other side to be used to watch TV. PLENTY of lines and towels available. Toys & Chairs for the beach were great! We will stay here again!

This is an excellent condo with fabulous views and lovely decor! We were also very happy with Melanie, the on-site property manager, and her prompt response to a sudden elevator outage that required folks to go up the stairs. (For us, there were eight flights--not a problem in general but if it had been, the elevator service was notably restored within about 30 minutes of the breakdown.) There were only two factors that really detracted from the experience—daily!—during our ten days. First, the toilets in both bathrooms are possibly the cheapest available on the market. One has to press down very hard on the handle to get them to flush. Usually, that means flushing twice because they are truly the cheapest and worst toilets available at your local Lowe's, Home Depot or Ace Hardware. Second, the pool's wall tiles were filthy, covered in a thick, visible layer of oil, dirt and sand the whole ten days we were there. The sign at poolside advises users never to "drink pool water", which was rather surprising since it was not particularly inviting. Worse perhaps was the fact that there are NO umbrellas anywhere next to the pool. So you are in full sun with no shade. Other nearby condos (just two buildings down) where other family stayed did not have impressive apartments but excellent pool facilities, lots of umbrellas, and truly a beautifully cleaned, perfect pool every day. Please address these issues and we would go back every year!

Nice property for a family of 4 with two kids young enough to share a bed. Partially updated. Minor maintenance issues and deep cleaning in the cracks and crannies of the condo would be good. Plenty of beach amenities. The balcony, proximity to the beach, and the salt water pool were our favorite things about the property.

The condo could use a good deep cleaning. There were hairs on both bathroom floors when arrived. Beds not comfortable at all. Location was great. We lived in Daytona bch shores many years. Now live in Atlanta.

With a gorgeous view of the ocean from a long balcony as well as from most rooms of the condo, this property has such potential to rate a five-star review. Unfortunately our stay was marred by annoying management issues.
Before going into the cons, here are some of the things we loved about this condo.
* Ahhhh, the view. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony or the couch and look out over the ocean from the 8th floor. When it was too cold to go out, we still felt as though we were on the beach. It was a nice place to entertain our visiting relatives.
* The condo is very nicely furnished and the beds are super comfy, not too soft and not too hard.
* The kitchen appliances, including the fridge, have been recently updated.
* Our last evening we stood next to the beach at the pool and saw a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral, very special experience for us all.
* The rolling baggage racks near the elevators were very handy.
And now the cons, mostly due to management issues rather the condo itself
* Our check-in instruction “Upon arrival, please head to the front desk to receive the key to your room” was totally wrong. The office accessible to the public was closed. In fact, we never saw it open the entire time we were there. Luckily the last reviewer had given us a heads up on the key problem and we emailed for alternate directions before leaving home. Even so, check-in was not without complications and there was no one available to ask for help. Finding the keys and navigating the garages and elevators is confusing to an incoming guest.
* Our two Evolve “guest contacts” never answered the phone number supplied. We called four times, twice about check-in and twice about heat issues. Twice it just rang; twice we got the answering service. The wifi network and password included in our email from Evolve were both incorrect.
* The temperature dropped to the 40s but we couldn’t turn up the heat because the thermostat was remotely controlled by the owner. We spent a sleepless freezing night and a day wearing our warm jackets in the condo before we could get help.
* Our first morning we took the elevator down to ground level to take walk on the beach, only to find that access to the ocean level was closed off. We asked the woman in the little inside office how to get to the beach and she told us to go to the 7-Eleven and turn right. She never mentioned that the storm had damaged the Moontide walkways or that the beach near the 7-Eleven was 1/2 a mile away. The public parking lot there was also closed for repairs. If you have small children or lots of beach gear you may want to check whether this is still the case. Repairs are ongoing all along the beachfront.
* One minor thing we wished for was more beach chairs—there were only two and one was pretty worn.
The condo is beautiful and deserves better management. If staffing is an issue, as it often is these days, at least provide guests with accurate, clear directions for check-in and check-out, as well as details on the status of any beach damage and repairs.

The view is spectacular!!! My husband and I came to New Smyrna for a little getaway. Flagler Ave was so much fun and the restaurants were very good.... The Garlic (10+ stars!!), The Breakers on the water has great burgers and a great view! Crabby's was a fun little spot we went to before we checked in... bartender hilarious and food was very good.
The check in email was not even close to what we actually had to do.... email said to see the girls at the front desk to pick up our keys ~ we couldn't figure out how to get in the building b/c you had to have a key. Chris, a worker at the Moontide that we saw in the parking lot told us they put the keys in a brown locker on the floor of the parking lot that we were on. Yep, they sure did.... but no one told us to check there.... thank you, Chris! I had also sent an email to my contacts with a question and never got a response. :/
Once inside the condo, it appeared very clean. The main living area was very nicely decorated and had a great set up. The balcony looked right out to the ocean but was a little cluttered with the amount of furniture on it but we still spent SO MUCH time there b/c it was beautiful. Kitchen and bathrooms were very very dated and needed some TLC. You could tell there had been work done but it seemed to be either rushed or not done well. Baseboards needed painted and kitchen cabinets/counters/tiles looked very weathered.... which brings me to the refrigerator. The inside was spotless, however, the outside of the refrigerator literally looked the refrigerator I have in my garage to store excess beverages (one that I rarely clean.... b/c it's in my garage and no one sees it) I bought Clorox wipes to try to clean the outside b/c there were stains all over it, but that didn't help.
There was enough dish soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags for our quick little 4 night stay. They had beach towels and beach chairs for the beach and even small coolers which was lovely to have! We couldn't ever sit at the beach though b/c the tide literally came up to the beach access steps from 11-5 pm. Obviously, it's the time of the year (?) so we completely understood that.
Overall, it was a decent property that needs some love, but I just expected a little more being an oceanfront property. We had a nice stay and liked the area a lot.

This place was a perfect long weekend getaway for my husband and I. We particularly enjoyed the view. The condo was well equipped with amenities and the beds were comfortable. The building’s pool was amazing, also offering a fantastic view of the ocean. We hope to come visit again next year!

We checked in late in the evening after a long car journey. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Host was easily accessible via phone, and questions were quickly answered by staff in the building office during business hours. Secure parking in ramp. Loved the direct beach access. One evening we were able to watch a nest of lagerhead turtle babies run for the ocean! Breath taking! We spent lots of time in the refreshing pool, did some shopping, and ate at wonderful restaurants. Everything was so close by! The only downside was a little construction noise and having to leave when the week was over!

Awesome views
This condo was great! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. ( I would suggest bringing extra trash bags and paper towels). Condo is decorated nicely and the view is to die for! Had a terrific time!

You can't beat the view!! Ocean view, 11 stories up. The sound of the ocean was constant. Sunrise was stunning!! Plenty of room. Overall, the condo was clean, but there were a couple areas that could use a deep clean. I would definitely rent this one again!

Change in terms
The apartment was well furnished and the view was perfect. However the unit could have been cleaner. We had to wipe down the kitchen floor when first arrived and later found used silverware under the bed. Biggest concern were the instructions received from the Moontide management desk less than a week before arrival. Check-in time was changed from 3PM to 4PM, check-out time changed from 10AM to 9AM. We were instructed to strip beds and wash linens and towels before leaving (no laundry soap provided) subject to a minimum $75 charge to our credit card for failure to comply.
Did not appreciate the tone of this message from Moontide nor that it was inconsistent with the terms we agreed to with Evolve when booking. Will not return to Moontide.

Sat on the dark blue sofa and later found several little bite marks on my body. Upon further review i found the sofa and along both sliding glass doors to be infested with ants.

Beach vaca.
We had a very hard time checking in. The condo. The office is on P1 and when you arrive you are on parking floor 3. I had no idea where to go to check in. I went to a few different floors before I found the office. When I arrived I was told that my reservation had been canceled because I didn't respond to them to verify. It was explained the reservation was handled by a 3rd party and the condominium has not received payment from the 3rd party even though I had paid at least 2 months prior. The office explained that it was okay, they hadn't rented it out to anybody else so they would go check to see if it was clean. They checked and it hadn't been cleaned yet so they said come back in an hour. I went back in an hour and they we're still cleaning it and the cleaning lady wasn't very pleasant. They finished the job, we settled in. I was surprised to see we didn't have any supplies like soap in the bathroom, soap for clothes washing , etc. I asked the office and they explained that it was up to the condo. Owner to supply those items. Other than the above items mentioned we had a nice time. The office did provide us with a gift card for our troubles.

The condo was very nice, clean comfortable. Check in was not smooth, keys not there, multiple calls had to wait 30 min for person( who was wonderful) to arrive.From description I was expecting to be beach front and on a lower floor in reality we were on the 8th floor which was really the 11 th flour with the garages. What I was disappointed in there was a full building( lower) between condo and the beach. Yes the pictures look like beachfront and the views are awesome , the distance was an issue and if I had known I would not have booked. Maybe time to update the description with some of the feedback. Also, the review that says great views from the king bed, the master is one room back from the balcony has doors opening to living room but no windows or view from master other than through the living room

Moontide
From the minute we arrived everything (considering COVID is still wreaking havoc) was GREAT!!! The only thing missing was extra garbage bags, toilet paper and NO paper towels, which meant a trip to the store, but otherwise the kitchen was totally equipped with anything and everything we could need or want! We will for SURE stay here again!

What I was disappointed in there was a full building( lower) between condo and the beach. The pool and deck area are large for gathering and sunning. The floor number is 8th, but first is elevated 3 stories so really it's 11 stories up. Great restaurants are walking distance as well as a nicely equipped store to grab essentials.
Beach towels, umbrella and chairs in second walk-in closet, even boogie boards for our kids.
Both Keurig and regular coffee makers, whatever your choice for sipping fresh brew while taking in the view from the balcony looking north or south on the seashore.
Can't wait to come back for a longer stay and try a few more of the famous local restaurants and some of their open air seating.

Dirty Linens
Our bedding was very dirty, after traveling we had to do laundry to have clean sheets... only 2 dirty washcloths.... the property manager isn’t on site and had never even been to the complex.... disappointed.

Beautiful condo on the beach. Several rooms newly renovated. Kitchen needs some updating. Beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler all in the condo. Now the downside..... checking in was horrible. We drove around the building MULTIPLE times. The bottom and middle level garages have remote control entry doors. The third level is open except you need a key card or access code to get into the elevator room. After multiple calls to our contact person at the office and going through the answering service, we finally had a construction guy let us in through the key card door. There is no signage ANYWHERE that tells you where to check in or how to get to the office. Also, none of that information was explained through the booking agent. Once we finally found the check in office, we were given five key cards that should get you into all doors including the condo door. After lugging all of our junk up to the eighth floor, none of the five cards worked. Once upon returning to the check-in desk we went back up to the eighth floor with five new cards that also did not work. Finally after going back down to the check-in counter for the third time, we were given an actual key to the condo. The maintenance man did came up and fix the card reader on the door. All in all, we had a great few days AFTER checking in

The Perfect Paradise away from home!
I was pleasantly surprised to see we were on the top floor as it wasn't even advertised!
This condo was so nice. The cleanliness really exceeded my expectations.
Next time I am going to bring my Tennis Raquet as there are on-site courts. But luckily I was able to enjoy the waves.
Golf courses in the area are awesome too!

Gorgeous, Stunning, Oceanfront Condo!

Where do I even begin??
This condo beyond exceeded our expectations.
With Immaculate Ocean Views from virtually every inch of the condo, and Intracoastal Views from the Guestroom, you cannot go wrong in any area.
We could have stayed in bed all day in the Master with the most comfortable California King; it was lavish and lovely. We had the pleasure of opening the Stylish Barn Doors and could see the ocean clearly from our bed!
The guest room has a queen size bed with a nice, plush mattress pad.
All of the sheets smelled of downy and were so comfortable and clean.
The Gorgeous Spanish Terracotta tile that flowed throughout the rooms really brought me back to my childhood.
The Sleeper-sofa was extremely comfortable and had direct ocean views!
All furniture in common area was up-to-date and stylish. Definitely professionally designed.
The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed.
I was pleasantly surprised at the precise cleanliness of not only our unit, (kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate) but of the property as a whole. It is so important in these times and we felt as though this unit was above and beyond.
Meloney, from the front desk, was so helpful and accommodating and made check-in and check-out a breeze! She even recommended some awesome restaurants within walking distance that we tried! SoNapa was her suggestion and it is a Must-try.
There is an on-site gym, as well as a large pool with sun-tanning deck. You will feel as though you are on the beach your entire stay without ever needing to put your toes in the sand! (Unless of course you want to) :)
We will definitely be re-booking this specific unit, Time and time again.

There is no signage ANYWHERE that tells you where to check in or how to get to the office. Also, none of that information was explained through the booking agent. Once we finally found the check in office, we were given five key cards that should get you into all doors including the condo door. After lugging all of our junk up to the eighth floor, none of the five cards worked. Once upon returning to the check-in desk we went back up to the eighth floor with five new cards that also did not work. Finally after going back down to the check-in counter for the third time, we were given an actual key to the condo. The maintenance man did came up and fix the card reader on the door.
All in all, we had a great few days AFTER checking in

WOW! Where do I even begin??This condo beyond exceeded our expectations.With Immaculate Ocean Views from virtually every inch of the condo, and Intracoastal Views from the Guestroom, you cannot go wrong in any area.We could have stayed in bed all day in the Master with the most comfortable California King; it was lavish and lovely. We had the pleasure of opening the Stylish Barn Doors and could see the ocean clearly from our bed! The guest room has a queen size bed with a nice, plush mattress pad.All of the sheets smelled of downy and were so comfortable and clean. The Gorgeous Spanish Terracotta tile that flowed throughout the rooms really brought me back to my childhood. The Sleeper-sofa was extremely comfortable and had direct ocean views!All furniture in common area was up-to-date and stylish. Definitely professionally designed. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. I was pleasantly surprised at the precise cleanliness of not only our unit, (kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate) but of the property as a whole. It is so important in these times and we felt as though this unit was above and beyond.Meloney, from the front desk, was so helpful and accommodating and made check-in and check-out a breeze! She even recommended some awesome restaurants within walking distance that we tried! SoNapa was her suggestion and it is a Must-try. There is an on-site gym, as well as a large pool with sun-tanning deck. You will feel as though you are on the beach your entire stay without ever needing to put your toes in the sand! (Unless of course you want to) :)We will definitely be re-booking this specific unit, Time and time again.I Highly recommend!

I’m very disappointed
Evolve requested an email review if I didn’t give 5 stars. I went from a 3 to a 2 simply because I did not get a response back from my initial email review. Here is what I emailed to the Evolve regarding my stay:
As requested, here’s my review of our stay.
Overall rating 3. Mainly due to the cleanliness of the unit.
Upon arrival I contacted Meloney, our onsite contact. She sent the head of the cleaning company to inspect and take photos of the condo.
1. There was no complimentary amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels or soap. The cleaning lady brought these but I didn’t accept them as I already had placed my own in each bathroom.
2. The master bath didn’t have a toilet paper rack. I eventually found one on the master closet.
3. There were no towels in the Master bath.
4. The master bath shower was moldy, especially the sliding doors.
5. The master bath shower didn’t have a shower head.
6. The bathroom sinks were dirty with toothpaste and hair in the sinks. The vanity drawers also were dirty with hair
7. The guest bedroom did not have a mattress pad on the bed.
8. The master and guest bedroom dresser drawers were dirty with sand and hair. Needless to say I did not unpack my suitcase my entire stay due to the cleanliness.
7. The floors from the front entrance to the kitchen were not clean. I swept and cleaned them myself. Including the bathroom floors.
8. The kitchen:
a. The pots and pans were so greasy and dirty. I only used one skillet to make breakfast. It took soaking overnight to make it useable. I didn’t feel comfortable using any other items.
b. The interior cabinets were filthy with food, crumbs and nasty dirty throughout.
c. The stovetop was as greasy and the oven as dirty with crumbs and splatters on the door. I did not feel comfortable using the oven as well.
d. Any utensils, flatware or plates I cleaned prior to using as again, they were stored in what I consider unsanitary.
I understand the bathrooms and kitchen have not been updated. That was not an issue at all. It was the cleanliness.
The head of cleaning told me an Evolve employee was in the unit staging it. She also was told I was the owner.
I have photos and would be happy to send them if you like.
I’m highly suggest the owner send a company in to do an extensive deep cleaning.
