Good

The apartment was perfect, and the location was also perfect.

That we had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs and that is not easy at the age of 68 and 70 with parcels and bags. The details of the apartment should specify that it's on the 4th floor and no elevator.

Spectacular...for the price you are getting so much.

The apple TV box to cover all your streaming services. The Bowers and Wilksins speaker for entertainment, especially movies. Fast internet no buffering at all. Very hot water always. Comfortable bed and clean sheets for changing. Cleaning detergents for the entire place, including bathroom and toilet. Stove with oven plus cutlery and pots, dishes, you name it. Comfortable couch for those lazy days.

HMMMM... not really a complaint but the location is far from the nearest shopping complex. If you don't have a car you are forced to Uber, but if you do ..we'll then you sorted.

What’s not to like🔥🔥👏 Luxury, comfort and value for money. The property outdid themselves. Never booked a place where you would find even tooth paste, hair removal creams😅 body lotion for him & her(x2) including braai equipment🙌🏼

The property was everything they advertised and more. The host was also quite friendly and readily available.

Uber/Bolt is not allowed onto the property.

Worth every penny.

Everything, it is a home away from home. I absolutely love the fact that there is white linen, it really just makes everything feel more lux and clean. I also love the fact that there are detergents, it makes keeping the place clean a lot easier.

It was not my first time booking this place, i am happy with everything. Nothing to complain about at all. Power cuts are beyond the host's control but thank goodness for the little portable lamp she makes available.

The place is beautiful and the host is a good person

The host was really friendly,I was late to check-in and she waited for me with her other guests that were suppose to check-in at a different apartment .But she ended up leaving the keys with the guards at the entrance since I took forever to get there and continued to be professional and humbled even though I arrived way pass the check-in period. She explained everything to me about the apartment, the channels, everything important. That place is really beautiful, comfortable and just a home. Bed and couch were very comfortable. Everything was there and it was clean. I'd definitely choose it again.

Nothing much to fault about this place accept for the microwave wasn't as clean but that wasn't a train smash I cleaned it before using it. But one other thing was there were times when the guards at the gate didn't buzz the host when we come in so that we can get an exit pin from her and then they would ask for 'cold drink' from us in order to open the gate for us to exit, we didn't give them and I don't think the host is any part of this. I don't think she's even aware of it.

Our stay was amazing, we will definitely itely do it again!

As a couple we absolutely enjoyed the entire set up of the apartment. We were extremely happy that we were able to access DSTV, Netflix and Showmax to watch all our favourite shows.

the fact that the bath didn’t retain its water even though the prop was pushed in, after some time the water level decreases and you have to fill it again. I think there is a leakage on the side of that mechanism.

Lovely, Stylish and Clean apartment

We had a lovely time at Canvas, Vathiswa is an exceptional host. She does everything in her power to make you feel comfortable. Depending on your reasons for travelling, the place has everything you need and more. You literally have to bring your luggage and food for your stay, everything else is catered for. She checked on us the next morning to find out if all is in order and that we slept well.🥰🥰 I told her this, that the way they do business with her husband John is really commendable.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor, so can be a bit straneous for travellers with a lot of luggage, but the comfort inside compensates for this. Investment in a small portable study desk and chair would really be helpful for working from home travelers. These can be stored in the wardrobe and only used when there is a need.

Poor

The owner of the apartment was extremely aggressive and she came into the apartment and removed the keys before my check out time. She brought her child and husband along and was shouting in the complex because I said her service isn’t good and she is unprofessional. I don’t recommend anyone stay here. She was wild and very intimidating

Beautiful, clean and modern safe and secure apartment.

A beautiful very clean and tastefully furnished apartment. Very quiet and safe complex. Loved the clean hotel quality bedding and modern electronics. The apartment had free wifi and every entertainment on TV you would like besides just dstv. A very private apartment too and quiet neighbours. Perfect for one person. Vathiswa was a super host and made sure to contact me within minutes of booking to send me Location and check in details on my whatsapp number. This is not very common for airbnb. Most hosts don't contact on whatsapp. This was very convenient considering I really needed an urgent solution on the day I booked the apartment. Thank you 😊 really

A bit of a surprise there was no basics like coffee/tea and sugar. Something I didn't realize I needed to bring along but wasn't too much an issue. Could be if you don't have a car and need to still go out and do shopping. I was not happy with the gate rules that Uber can't come it to collect but they let me in on arrival. Despite telling them I had suitcases and the complex is quite big. So I ended up canceling my Uber 3 times due to them being refused entry and Uber not willing to wait. The host did everything in her power to sort this little issue out. So I don't blame the host. I'm just wondering what would happen if i went out at night and needed to be dropped of? The complex is big and wouldn't feel comfortable just being dropped at the gate middle of the night. I think this is something that can be worked out with the gate to allowe guests of these types of apartments in if you're not a resident. Especially since they call the host for entry. There would be no risk in anyone else coming in besides the guest. Otherwise I honestly wouldn't fault anything on the apartment or the host. Vathiswa was a super host and would definitely consider coming back if the need arises. Thank you Vathiswa. Loved your place

Modern, bright, cozy, quiet.

It was not in area I expected, directions were confusing, so I had to travel great distance to my work. Was a bit suprised the apartment was on fourth floor with only steps.
